Historically, analyzing this Russia-Ukraine war we will note Russia’s concern over Ukraine joining NATO. The months troops were on Ukraines borders as Russia tried to obtain assurances it would not join NATO. And these assurances were never provided.
We will also note US has continually escalated this war. Even went so far as to suggest Poland (a NATO ally) offer planes to Ukraine to attack Russians. When Ukraine offered these same planes to US to deploy,US declined. Cowardly act to say the least.
Now Putin/Russia say supplying Ukraine will be considered as a military action and these routes and vehicles and men/women delivering same will be attacked.
As US/NATO use their “Karen tactics” they need to understand Putin/Russia were willing to make war.
