“Simply chilling.”

Trump campaign plans to file federal lawsuit in Michigan

Campaign alleges equal protection violations

Click On Detroit, November 11, 2020:

DETROIT – President Donald Trump’s campaign said it will file a lawsuit in federal court in Grand Rapids.

While we have yet to see the filing, the campaign alleges equal protection violations and wants a federal judge to step in and stop the county and state canvassing boards from certifying the election.

It is also attaching 100 sworn affidavits claiming irregularities in Wayne County.

“The complaint is based on affidavits showing that designated challengers were denied meaningful observation as required by law, that our poll watchers suffered illegal and official intimidation, interference, harassment,” said Trump campaign general counsel Matt Morgan.

The lawsuit is separate from the one the campaign filed in the Court of Claims in Lansing. That lawsuit, asking for a stop to the counting process, was not successful.

Election law experts said that while the campaign is within its rights to file these lawsuits, the likelihood of success in this federal suit is not great either.

“It’s completely possible that there is a reasonable explanation for the things these affiants witnessed,” said Matthew Cross with Plunkett Cooney. “We’re really just going to have to see how this plays out, but ultimately, the likelihood of actual success and defining success as changing the result of the election is very low.”

A political party that competes to better serve the people and defend the Republic doesn’t rig elections. The Democrats defy the will of the people and they punish the people who defy their will. They may as well be a royal family that rules by bloodlines and the influences of central banks and wealth….

Perhaps someone can explain to me how it is that when either federal or state law insists that both parties representatives are entitled to observe the counting of votes together with all verification that such votes are indeed legal ones, a challenge in the courts when such regulations are seen and recorded to have been flouted, the chances of the plaintiff winning are “very low”.

If the law has not been observed, then either back it or scrap it but not before explanations why have been offered as to why on such an important issue as a presidential election they failed in their primary purpose, i.e. to protect the peoples faith in their democratic systems.

There is no actual explanation, Poppey. Rather, it’s simply the way that it is. The Left Wingnut Regressives (Democrat Party members) and the media (almost totally Left Wingnut Regressives, themselves) simply do what they do. No one is supposed to challenge them. If you make even the slightest of statements against the breaking of existing law(s), you’re simply labeled Far Right … and … oh no, “racist”.

It’s the American way.

Looks like they will have to go to the Supreme Court for relief. The corruption in Michigan is egregious. They will never admit to it, as to do so will be to call into question their system for stealing elections – this and all future elections. They don’t want the system destroyed.
