California governor’s office tells diners to wear masks ‘in between bites’
Masks have become fierce topic of debate across country

Story continues below advertisementThe office of California Gov. Gavin Newsom has told residents in the Golden State that if they go out to eat, they should be wearing a mask “in between bites” to protect themselves from COVID-19.
“Going out to eat with members of your household this weekend?” an Oct. 3 tweet from the governor’s office says. “Don’t forget to keep your mask on in between bites.”
For emphasis, the tweet shows an image of someone at a dining seat wearing a mask, then not wearing a mask while taking a bite, and then putting the mask on again.
However, the image then advises people to “minimize the number of times you take your mask off.”
California has allowed limited indoor dining to resume in a number of counties. San Francisco allowed indoor dining last week at 25% capacity.

I have two siblings living in a residential area of Denver who tell me that the CA pot culture has completely transformed their neighborhood into something entirely different from only a few years ago. New Yawkers are running from their sinking ship hole to northeastern PA bringing their city expectations with them. This is much worse than the invasion from NYC caused by the Bush mortgage backed bonds game of the mid 2000s.

Should the homeless drug addicts wear masks while mainlining heroin? Should the homeless alcoholics be required to put on their masks between swigs? Should the homeless who poop and pee in the streets of San FranFreaksco be required to wear masks while doing so? I’m sure drug dealers don’t mind wearing masks while slinging their product though — so at least they’re law abiding.

This whole matter of COVID-19 is exaggerated to control people and take away their constitutional liberties. At Grace Community Church in Sun Valley California, which I go to, we have been in court over this issue. In the mean time there are Sunday worship services going on, most people are not wearing face masks at Grace Church, so far I have not heard of any outbreaks of COVID-19 at Grace Community Church.

OMG. The company I work for moved out 75 families from South San Francisco 15 years ago. I thank GOD every day that I don’t live or work there any more. I’d tell ya where we went, but I’m afraid those nut cases in cali would come here and destroy this state too. I remember in the late 70s and early 80s when San Francisco was a GREAT place for tourists. I had to go back three years ago and it was DISGUSTING! PUTRID! You couldn’t pay me to go again.

I guess what I do not understand is why this is not being addressed to the entire country. Why is it limited to certain areas. The Justice Department has already stated that there is no pandemic exception to our constitutional rights so why isn’t Barr, or whoever has the authority to do so, not arresting these people and declaring an end to all of this?

This doesn’t fit the Media Mob narrative so it isn’t in the news. I wouldn’t be aware of it except for it showing up in my feed on PARLER, which I recommend to anyone who is fed up with being fed the news through a keyhole.

It’s hardly tyranny, samanna. After all, it’s not a legal requirement- simply more nattering from the nanny state. Besides, if they allow you to eat, shouldn’t they be able to set the rules you have to follow?
While they’re at it, perhaps they could require, when you exhale, that you do so into a catalytic reduction unit so that the CO2 in your exhalant could be reduced to formic acid, or something? Sounds logical to me.

Meanwhile, those who attempt to comply with this “request” will be subjecting themselves to greater risk of infection from the collected respiratory exhalation of various bacteria and germs.
There are already enough documented cases of self infection that the phenomenon is known in the Dental Profession as “Mask Mouth”. There is a higher risk of contracting tuberculosis, including the infection resistant varieties. People are having outbreaks of acne from the concentrations of germs on the face, and the list goes on.
The insanity continues to grow, driven by the hysterical Media Mob and aided and abetted by the Demoncrat controlled states, with California being at the forefront of the hysteria.
It is rather noteworthy that the total of deaths in the United States is roughly 100,000 lower so far this year than for comparable points in time for the last several years. If the virus was as inimical in its fatality as the hysterics would have us believe, wouldn’t that death count be be much higher than the average for previous years?
