‘Lies and incitement’: Israeli ambassador slams Abbas’ call to war at UN

46

It is because of the United Nations that this corrupt terrorist, this Holocaust denier, and this thug has any legitimacy. In a just world Mahmoud Abbas would be in a military prison for his many crimes. It is unconscionable that Joe Biden would stuff Abbas’s corrupt pockets with American tax dollars, that he would certainly use to finance murderous terror attacks against Israelis.

Israel’s U.N. Ambassador, Gilad Erdan called the Palestinian PM’s UN speech a collection of “lies and incitement against Israel,” calling Mahmoud Abbas “desperate” in light of the Arab world’s warming ties with Israel.

Associated Press, September 27, 2020

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Friday called for an international conference early next year to launch a “genuine peace process” while criticizing the recent decision of two Arab countries to make peace with Israel.

Abbas acknowledged the growing international weariness with the Palestinians’ position as he delivered the latest in a long series of addresses to the U.N. General Assembly.

“I wondered while preparing this statement what more could I tell you, after all that I have said in previous statements,” he said in the video address from his headquarters in Ramallah.

The Palestinians have rejected President Donald Trump’s proposal to end the conflict, despite massvie economic incentives to make peace, and have officially cut off contacts with both the U.S. and Israel. Instead, the Palestinians demanded a multilateral peace process based on U.N. resolutions and past agreements.

They have also rejected the decision of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain to normalize ties with Israel, viewing it as a betrayal of the longstanding Arab consensus that recognition of Israel should only come in exchange for territorial concessions, which would be disastrous for Israel’s security.

Israel’s U.N. Ambassador, Gilad Erdan, responded with a video statement calling Abbas’ speech a collection of “lies and incitement against Israel” and arguing that the Palestinian leader was “desperate” because of the agreements Israel reached with Bahrain and the UAE.

“All Abbas showed was continued Palestinian rejectionism,” Erdan said.

In his speech, Abbas said the agreements, signed at the White House earlier this month, are a “violation” of the “principles of a just and lasting solution under international law.”

For more than three decades, the Palestinians have sought an independent state in Samaria, Gaza and eastern portions of Jerusalem.

Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu has focused on building ties with Arab, African and Asian countries that have long supported the Palestinian cause. In Israel, the agreement with the United Arab Emirates, an oil-rich country with considerable regional influence, represents a historic breakthrough that could transform the Middle East.

Abu Abbas thinks he’s reliving the Pan-Arabain days of Khartoum in September 1967, when finally the Arab States deferred to Arafat. The let him attend the Khartoum meeting. They let him express that the Palestinians were a separate People and not to be considered Jordanian and that they seek “their” Land back that up until then only Jordan really gave a hoot about for honor sake. They actually wre granted what they had through British captiulation to create Trans-Jordan and get the Hashemites out of the Region of the House of Saud. Subsequently, they took by forece most of what the Balfour and League of Nations acceded to Israel.
So, we come to Khartoum, 1967 the infamous “NO, NO and NO” no recognition, NO Peace, and No Security.
Abbas with his demands at the UN speaks as though he is back in those days. He has won nothing by conflict. Only one side has been giving and it isn’t his side. He calls Our side an obstacle to Peace when he already holds 95% of the Land. What Abbas and his apologists truly mean is dismantling Israel. This won’t happen whatever the UN or EU says or does and if Abbas choses War he could lose everything!

If you ignore the rockets that regularly hit Israel and the muslum terrorist attacks it’s almost like Israel is at peace — except for the dead bodies.

And Obama / Biden DID do that. They gave money to the Palis, who then paid salaries to incarcerated terrorists and their families.

mtman: Yes excellent point! Trump has lived around several severe alcoholics [like his brother], and he knows a lot about how to prevent self-destructive behavior. He just extended that from family life to politics and foreign relations.

“Tough-love” was a negative label that socialists used against the anti-codependency movement. Socialists and other tyrants are very poor at consequential thinking, and they really dislike experiencing negative consequences, even if they deserve them. They hate being punished, and they want conservatives and governments to rescue them, and let them continue being self-destructive.

A codependent person indulges the self-destroyer, and keeps trying to rescue them. But rescuing only makes self-destructive people worse. It’s like the the parent who gives the junkie teenager a generous cash allowance. Or the wife who keeps bailing out the violent drunk, and paying off his lawyers. Or the parent who blames the school that punished their kid when he sexually assaulted a female student. These efforts at rescue only make the self-destructive behavior worse. Because the self-destroyer can get away with more self-destruction. If there are no negative consequences for self-destruction, the self-destruction gets worse.

And Trump learned that you can’t do that with self-destructive people [like his alcoholic bother], because it only makes them worse.

And then Trump started to apply those same methods to self-destructive countries, and political parties, and self-destructive Democrat cities, and foreign countries, like Lebanon.

Trump’s most important political moves come from alcoholism treatment books like “Codependent No More” and similar works.

YES – Donald the younger brother was really hit hard losing his older brother Fred and affected him for life…
I respected and loved my father but didn’t always like him tho his early life in war torn Europe and firefight with Bolsheviks when yet a boy left quite a history gape between his and my Ametican life.

The iconic Johnny Cash who never got over blaming himself as he wrote in “The man in Black”.

One can feel in his rendition of –
“Sunday Morning Coming Down” one can feel this man knows the depths of despair.
Even Kristofferson who wrote it stated NO ONE could evoke the emotion Cash renders by singing it his way.
If you’re not familar do look it up on Utube and play it~
What he conveys in singing this can really grab your hidden places of the soul – esp on a lonely Sunday morning…lol…!

Yes. Trump also had / has other alcoholics and heavy drinkers in his family. Ivana Trump is an alcoholic, and Ivanka has had a tough time. The kids often try to be perfect, to compensate for the family chaos. You can see that in Ivanka, always trying to be perfect: “Adult Child of an Alcoholic” [ACOA] syndrome.

About 5% or 1 in 20 are alcoholics in the USA, so most of us have one in our extended family, or know one. It’s common.

Only an alcoholic makes an alcoholic. There are many other ways to solve marital problems, and other problems than alcohol. And alcoholism only makes marital problems worse. It’s more likely that Trump married Ivana when she was already an alcoholic, because he was used to that in his family.

The classic marriage picture is the nurse, whose dad was an alcoholic. And she goes on to marry an alcoholic. It’s what she knows. Trump may have done something similar.

It’s been obvious this fat slob and all the others that claim to want peace don’t want peace at all. They’ll settle for nothing less than the death of Israel. Israel has offered them peace 3 times that I know of, and each time the offers of peace were flat out rejected. The fact that the un doesn’t call him out on this is very telling.

ANOTHER explosion in Iran last night. This time in Ahvaz [aka Ahwaz] in the south east, the oil rich area. Mostly Arabs live there, and they are impoverished and subjugated, to prevent insurrection that would separate them from Iran, to join Iraq. Multiple explosions, fires, and ‘incidents’ have occurred there recently.

It is either an Egyptian or Lebanese or Syrian whose families in 1922 and later started to move to Israel which at that time was a Brittish mandate. At that time the country was nearly empty except the Jews who have been living in Jerusalem and in its surroundings since the time of the second Temple destroymentby the Roman emperor Hadrian.
They have nothing to do in Israel they are just thieves and should be thrown out. PM Netanyahu, I hope, will
annect Judea and Samaria because these parts are heart of the Jewish nation and Jewish country

Hitler aided and supplied these nomads during WW2 as he kicked all the Jews out of Germany and they went to Israel. Hitler had his henchmen provide guns and weaponry to the Arabs to kill any Jew they saw in Israel, which was peaceful before WW2 and when the Arab and Jews got along.

THEN, a militant faction of Jews in Israel, with the aid of some Brits and Americans/French helped the Jews to fight for themselves, training them and supplying them with their own weapons to fight back.

Sung to the tune of Tom Lehrer’s Werner Von Braun

Gather round while I sing you of a moderate muslim clown
a man whose veracity is ruled by mendacity
call him a moderate, he won’t even frown
at his research in rocketry in old Gaza town

Don’t say that he’s an islamist
Say rather that he’s an moderist

once the rockets are up
it’s allah’s will where they come down
and that’s not my department says Abbas with a frown

some have harsh words for this muslim of renown
but some think kuffar attitude should be one of gratitude
like the terrorist pensioners of old Gaza town
who owe their large pensions to kufar jizya he’s found

Abbas tells the kufar it’s easy to piss-on-ya
Once you’ve learned to count kufar jizya
in dollars and pounds and sheckels and yen
and soon Chinese yuan says Abbas with a grin

Israel is mentioned in the Merneptah Stele — also known as the Israel Stele or Victory Stele of Merneptah dated 1208 B.C. — is an inscription by the Ancient Egyptian king Merneptah who reigned from 1213 to 1203 B.C.
The first appearance of the term “Palestine” was in 5th century BC Ancient Greece when Herodotus wrote of a “district of Syria, called Palaistine between Phoenicia and Egypt” in The Histories.
So, there you have it.

Bibi – please remove this thorn from your land.
