Kamala Harris blasted for praising BLM as ‘essential’ and ‘brilliant’ amid violence

Kamala Harris praised the “brilliance” and “impact” of Black Lives Matters protests, deeming them “necessary” in comments that led some on social media to slam her as “insane.”
“Nothing that we have achieved that has been about progress, in particular around civil rights, has come without a fight, and so I always am going to interpret these protests as an essential component of evolution in our country — as an essential component or mark of a real democracy,” the California senator said during an interview held as part of the NAACP’s national convention Friday, which was held virtually because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Protests were “necessary,” the Democratic candidate for Vice President said, as “the people’s voices must be heard, and it is often the people who must speak to get their government to do what it is supposed to do, but may not do naturally unless the people speak loudly — and obviously peacefully.”
Harris also praised the “brilliance” and “impact” of Black Lives Matter, without criticizing the ongoing violence at rallies held in the organization’s name in cities across the country, nor the shooting of two police officers in Louisville. “I actually believe that ‘Black Lives Matter’ has been the most significant agent for change within the criminal justice system,” the former California Attorney General said.
Critics slammed her support for the group, whose co-founder described herself as a “trained Marxist” in 2015. Many suggested she was supporting riots, violence and intimidation.
GOP operative Arthur Schwartz posted a clip of the interview video with the comment, “Unmoved by the violence in our streets and the brutal attacks on our police officers,

God works in ways that we are not meant to comprehend. if you study how He treated his chosen people when they turned their back on Him, then i believe He’s about had it with this nation, and is allowing more and more horrible things to happen to us in an attempt to get a stiff-necked nation to turn its face back to Him. You should start at the beginning of the Book, otherwise you will never understand the middle and the end.
Genesis 1:26 “And God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
God set out to make man exactly the way he is. Man was then created to look like the exact image of God, and his sons; the angels. If you ever wondered what an angel form looks like? Then look into a mirror, for we are created in their image.
Genesis 3:22 “And the Lord God said, “Behold, the man is become as one of Us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:-”
This is the documentation that the “Tree of Life” is Jesus
Christ. The price that had to be paid first was Jesus
Christ’s death on the cross, then after the shedding of
His blood, all mankind can take freely of Him and have
eternal life. Only by the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and His living as a man, then His sacrifice on the cross
could eternal life be offered to man.

Regarding Gen. 1:26, those who deny the Trinity say that when God says, “Let Us make . . . ” He is speaking with the angels in mind. The problem with this is that angels do not create. There is absolutely no biblical evidence that angels created anything at all. We see in Isaiah 44:24, “Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, ‘I, the Lord, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself, And spreading out the earth all alone.'” God made all things alone. Therefore, the “us” in “Let Us make man in our image” cannot be the angels. Furthermore, people are not created in the image of angels but of God.

The Angels are the Children of God (as we are) and serve Him. God uses the Angels to carry out His wishes. Check out the site link at the bottom of my last post. The teacher on that site is a student of the Biblical scholar I learn from. There are tools you can use to check to see if what he is saying is accurate and correct. If you want just ask and I will link you to the tools.

Angels are a creation of God. They are not creators.
Unless you believe angels to be creators, the “us” cannot apply to angels, as “Let us make …”, would mean that angels were creating.
Unless one believes that angels are creators, one cannot buy the “us” including angels.

I have always used the KJV for study,, as the Strong’s concordance was written for the translation. Far to often, even “biblical scholars” interpretation is diametrically opposed to actual scripture.

A KJV and Strongs Concordance of the Bible and you should be spot on. The Companion Bible by E.W. Bullinger is a great help. If you get one start with the appendixes. It fits right in with the above mentioned works. I use all 3 including an original copy of the Smiths Bible Dictionary. Another excellent work.

It is my understanding that angels are His messengers and humans are distinctly different from angels. Angels don’t marry or reproduce. It is also my understanding that humans are considered to be above angels even though angels have abilities we don’t have.

The word “angel” translates to “messenger in the English. Of course angels are different from us, they are in incorruptible spiritual bodies, while we are in flesh bodies, that age and are subject to many problems. I have never heard or seen written where humans are above angels.

“how can this be a close election” sums up what happens to a nation who threw God out with the trash 60 years ago. like a good father, God is patient with us but not patient forever, and i think He has about reached the point where He is going to let us do what we want and suffer the consequences. this is a close election because half of the nation has never been in a church or read the Bible, have no concept of eternity and God’s judgment when we die, and have been raised to be blind to the obvious truth that everything around them and they themselves were created. the 2020 election is truly about whether this nation will continue to be “under God” or become a nation where that phrase is no longer uttered during the pledge of allegiance and we become a pack of animals that conducts itself like the Lord of the Flies.

I agree with you IF and I emphasize IF, we are able to get a clean vote or over come DEM cheating. It does worry me.
Every time you turn around, more voter and ballot fraud is being uncovered. Who knows what hasn’t been discovered yet! What swing states have in place for mail in ballot voting, is a recipe for a Biden cheat by ballot win. It’s horrifying!
I can only hope and pray Trump is successful in fighting it but early voting has already begun in allot of those states! It’s a mess. I use how extreme in lying etc. DEMS are to be a measure of how much they are willing to cheat to win. They are going ALL OUT for a cheat win!

Cuyahoga County, in NE Nohio has around 850,000 registered voters. Already, over one third have requested mail-in ballots.
That’s quadruple the normal number.

There is no in person voting allowed in them.

I first went to India in 1979, last time was about 8 years ago and I am done with that country, no more India for me. I just stay in SE Asia.
