US New Home Sales Unexpectedly Jump in August
Sales of new single-family homes in the United States jumped 4.8 percent from the previous month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,011 thousand in August of 2020, surprising markets that were expecting a fall to 895 thousand. It is the highest reading since September of 2006 as the housing market continues to recover from the coronavirus hit, prompted by record low interest rates and increasing demand as people move away from the big cities. The average sales price went down to $369,000 from $392,700 a year earlier. The number of new houses for sale available on the market fell 3.1 percent to 282 thousand.

She is beginning to remind me of Angelina Jolie and Madonna collecting kids to raise from other countries to prove she is not a racist. Why not adopt U.S. kids? She will probably side with ILLEGALS and be LIBERAL on immigration issues!

Yes there is anti Catholic sentiment going on out there BUT this woman would not be my choice!
The big tent doesn’t work and I am tired of this third world virtue signaling with adopting third world kids etc. when the United States has tons of unwanted kids in foster care waiting for someone to love them and care for them – even special needs kids here would love to be adopted. Why doesn’t America first matter to her?

Felix: No, of course you are NOT misogynist. First, your comments are based on fact, and facts have no bias, they just describe reality.
Second, there are more facts we could drag into the discussion, because there is a big overlap between female capabilities, and male capabilities.
But no matter what facts we point to, the issue of women marines is STILL controversial.
And that’s why I posted the picture 🙂

There has not been one single female that was capable of passing the Field Infantry Officer Course. The normal fallout is 20-25% failure. However, it was 100% failure for the females.
The test, today, seems more difficult than it was in years past. For one thing, I didn’t have body armor weighing me down. And, we weren’t forced to carry as many MRE packs. If I’m not mistaken, they’re lugging around fifteen (plus) pounds more today. So, I’m not going to judge.
I stopped following the controversy because the USMC had until 2016 to satisfy the Pentagon that they came up with a more gender-diverse test.
I did read, somewhere, that the Corps DID reduce the tests to the point that ONE woman finally made it through. However, the article stated that the test is only a shadow of its former self.
Nice way to keep field officers at incompetent levels while they’re leading men in battle.

I understand that the Marines have no men in combat roles. And THAT to me is a big reason to keep them out of Drill Sergeant roles as well.
In my opinion, those Marine drill sergeants should know what combat is like, first hand, before they start telling trainee Marines what to do.
In comparison Israel has women tank officers/ trainers/ instructors, and that may be OK. They don’t see combat, but they know tanker techniques and skills very well.

The Pentagon put a tremendous amount of pressure, on the Corps, in order to meet “gender-diversity” goals.
There is NO place for someone incapable of performing a task, trainging those that will have to do so.
The Corps has changed, drastically. Simply look at “Mad Moo-Moo Mattis” and give it some thought.

Unbelievable! The title of the article does not address the content of the President’s statement. There is nothing in Trump’s statement of the Court settling the election. It just answers question of vote counting and irregularities. The votes of citizens will ultimately settle the election.

It breaks my heart, but I truly fear this election for you. I think Trump is right, no matter what the outcome, there is so much mistrust in and abuse of the process that it is almost a foregone conclusion that the consequences will be dire.
