This was perhaps the worst segment from Fox News in a long time. Newt Gingrich was speaking the truth about George Soros’ role in the election of far-Left district attorney’s, who Soros will fund to undermine the American justice system. In fact, Fox News may have banned Joe Digenova for making a similar statement about Soros last year. Why is Soros being protected by Fox News?

Fox News cut off former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich on Wednesday after he brought up the role of billionaire left-wing financier George Soros in funding the election of left-wing prosecutors in local races over the past several years.
Gingrich argued that the rise in crime in many Democrat-governed cities was partly the result of the election of left-wing district attorneys who had received financial assistance from George Soros.
But commentators Melissa Francis and Marie Harf attempted to silence Gingrich.

“Look, the number one problem in almost all these cities is George Soros-elected, left-wing, anti-police, pro-criminal district attorneys who refuse to keep people locked up,” Gingrich said. “Just yesterday they put somebody back on the streets who’s wanted for two different murders in New York City.”
He continued: “You cannot solve this problem — and both [Kamala] Harris and [Joe] Biden have talked very proudly out what they call ‘progressive district attorneys’. Progressive district attorneys are anti-police, pro-criminal, and overwhelmingly elected with George Soros’s money.
“And they’re a major cause of the violence we’re seeing because they keep putting the violent criminals back on the street,” Gingrich said.
“I’m not sure we need to bring George Soros into this,” Francis replied.
“He paid for it,” Gingrich, who was obviously taken aback by the interruption. “I mean, why can’t we discuss that fact that millions of dollars….”.
“No he didn’t,” Harf interjected. “I agree with Melissa. George Soros doesn’t need to be a part of this conversation.”
“Okay, so it’s verboten,” Gingrich said, using the German word for “forbidden.”

This is not new. Glenn Beck and, I believe, Andrew Napolitano lost their Fox News shows and were eventually fired by that network because Soros holds a blackmail threat over Rupert Murdoch. My source for this is Beck.
This is why we need a lot more news channels that the left does not control.

Too many foreigners as correspondents with accents SO heavy that it’s difficult to understand a single word.

Napolitano has a sexual assault complaint against him, and I hadn’t heard he had been fired. Trish Regan and Diamond & Silk lost their jobs because they are pro Trump and wanted real answers that go against what the MSM keeps saying. FOXNEWS fired them. Murdoch’s oldest son runs FOXNEWS now and Paul Ryan has his ear. They are slowly headed to the left. What happened with Gingrich was unreal, and it could lead to Francis and Faulkner being on their way out because they are both big Trump supporters. They are being threatened. Harf will run that show eventually, and it will be as bad as the View.

President Trump mentioned the sea change at Foxnews. I have been noticing that change.
I still miss Trish Regan, who had incredible intelligence and style. Fired Over what? Saying that The DemoNazis will use the corona virus to impeach Trump? She cannot apologize? Everything is a fireable offense at Fox. Remember even Pirro’s career hung in the balance.
And yet the go and hire a self-confessed liar and cheat, Donna Brazile. A woman who can’t even speak English properly!
I guess the plan is to slip Chris Wallanchinsky’s questions to China Joe in advance of the debate. After all, Fox has to make the debate fair and balanced, and how can China Joe compete without an advanced copy of the questions?

I miss Trish Regan also. I also miss Diamond and Silk. Donna Brazile is a disgrace and gave them 2 reasons to fire her already. They didn’t. they don’t use Fair and Balanced anymore, not for a long time. If Wallace slips him questions(and we find that out) Wallace’s career is over.

Do you have any idea how much damage has been done in the world, from time immemorial, by people who were “expedient.”
Harris is extremely well paid to anchor a news/opinion program – if she’s not up to it, she needs to get out.
In any case, she did apologize for her behavior in the Gingrich segment – that’s a start.

Well I blame her!
She is someone with a tremendous amount of influence and power, not a line worker whose job is to take orders and do as she is told at all times. If she lacks the courage and integrity to speak truthfully then she needs to find a lower level job where the only requirement is the ability to take orders.
And I feel the same way about Fauci! We know that he has sacrificed his integrity and many of us on this site no longer respect him. Along the same line I can no longer respect HF. She is no better than the WWII Nazis who were “just following orders.”

Phil I don’t consider what she did to be an error. It is a lack of courage and ethics. Had she publicly stated “why can’t we talk about Soros?” it would have exposed her two colleagues, and FOX as hiding something. Had they fired Harris over that FOX would have been fully exposed and it would not look good. But what she did not only exposes FOX but exposes her as well.
I simply cannot respect her decision to sit there remaining silent and looking down like a bump on a log. She has a ethical obligation to her audience to be truthful. She failed, in her silence, with a lie of omission.

I respect that. Consider if you will: George Soros is one very scary dude. I’m not saying he’s Dracula but yeah, he is Dracula. He has armies of vampiric lawyers at his disposal. Soros is beyond reproach within the MSM, BUT not only in the U.S. Politicians elsewhere who have criticized Soros were ordered to retract their statement that Soros has his grubby fingers in Canada’s politics. Now, a Canadian poster may confirm this, as I got it from another source. I believe it was a politician in BC who was made to withdraw her statement and apologize.Whether it is FOX News or other MSM leftist weenies, Soros has them by the short ones.
This bilious man, his sons, or whoever else he has in his back pocket, the Democrats and every Leftist party or government are on his payroll. The man is an unabashed criminal, conniver, seditionist whose intent of destroying America is nearing fruition unless American voters see through the political fog, fake news, and unmitigated treasonous intentions of his political lap-dogs. He is a Nazi collaborater who denounced Hungarian Jews if they didn´t get all their possessions to the nazis. He enjoined it. When they put Paul Ryan on the board at Fox, I knew Fox would decline rapidly. And it has. I’m waiting for Tucker Carlson to quilt because he’s one of the biggest, most accurate voices on Fox.

Shameful. I can understand the leftist and Democrat supporter Harf wanting to keep Soros out of it. He gives so much to Democrats and leftist causes that she would want his name never to be spoken out loud for criticism, but Harris? She is usually neutral about names being brought up, and open for debate; I have yet to see her shutting anyone else down.
