Protesters demand cops let themselves be stabbed or shot

If the nation’s police officers walked off the job today, it would be hard to blame them. Sunday’s anti-cop riots in Lancaster, Pa., have made the current de facto rules of engagement clear: Officers may never defend themselves against lethal force if their attacker is a minority. They should simply accept being shot or stabbed as penance for their alleged racism.
Story continues below advertisementIn Lancaster, an officer responded to a domestic violence call at a residence where a man had stabbed four people last year. As the officer approached the house, a female escaped out the front door. A man — the suspect from the previous slashings — then emerged and ran at the officer, brandishing a knife over his head. The officer shot him, as the officer was by all appearances legally authorized to do, to stop the threat of deadly force. Twenty-seven-year-old Ricardo Munoz died from the officer’s gunfire.
The response from the “community,” after this summer of lethal cop hatred, was predictable. Rioters pelted Lancaster cops with bricks, glass bottles, and sharp projectiles ripped from road barricades. They smashed the windows of police cruisers, the downtown police precinct, the post office, cafés and stores. They torched a dumpster dragged from another part of the city. They pulled street signs and bike racks out of sidewalks to use against the police.
Such anarchy, with its photogenic arson, is just the latest chapter in the violence that is now routinely directed at officers during ordinary law enforcement activities, as well as during riots.

On Aug. 26, a driver in The Bronx attacked two officers who had asked him to move his car from a fire hydrant, The Post reported. In June, a Baltimore cop was shot in the stomach while trying to break up an illegal house party. In Chicago, officers seeking to arrest drive-by shooters are assaulted and cursed at. And now, in Compton, Calif., two sheriff’s deputies are hanging on to life after having been shot in the face while sitting in their parked patrol car.
This murderous chaos is hardly surprising. Virtually the entirety of the Democratic political class stayed silent this summer as cops became punching bags for criminals and anarchists. Instead, Democratic officials and their media mouthpieces droned on about the lethal threat to blacks allegedly posed by police officers — a narrative utterly belied by the facts about police shootings and black crime. Mayors and district attorneys vowed to ignore misdemeanor arrests so as to avoid prosecuting black criminals.

They are already pulling back from proactive policing — understandably, having been told endlessly that such policing is racist. Homicides and shootings are spiraling out of control nationally. Every attack on a police officer is an attack on civilization itself. We are in the process of losing any possibility of civil peace.

It was never about George Floyd OR black lives. It was and is all about overthrowng this country. I really have to wonder about the parents who spawned and raised these thugs and thugettes.

Its all fine for the police to risk life and limb, but if someone charges at you with a raised knife the first thing that crosses your mind is “I wish I had a gun”. That may also be your last thought.
Police are trained that once someone comes within 21 feet with a weapon such as a knife, they can shoot. Twenty-one feet is the minimum safe distance before they could actually get at you. Ten feet and you will most likely be stabbed or killed.
Some geniuses will say, why not disarm him? Only on TV and in movies. There is far more chance of being knifed than wrestling a weapon away from an assailant. You also don’t know if they are hyped up on drugs, such as PCP.
You attack or try to attack the police, you get what you deserve. If a common man shoots an armed assailant its considered justified, then the same applies to the police. It should be the first assumption rather than unjustified murder. That is why there are investigations into police shootings.

The 7 – 17 Rule; 7 yards is the minimun “safe distance” … at 7 yards, they can get to you before you can do anything to stop them. 17 yards is the minimum distance that would allow you to ‘get away’ from your attacker.
The Constitution is ABSOLUTE LAW – above all else (along with the rest of the Organic Law of this Republic) – the Second Amendment is part of that Constitution, and is there for a reason.
Our Founders stated that the “militia” is, “the whole of the people, well-trained to arms”. WE THE PEOPLE are the “militia” that is “necessary to the security of a free State”. The Second Amendment DOES NOT CONTAIN the words, “until”, “unless”, or “except” …. contrary to what anyone, including the courts, says …. the Second Amendment IS “absolute”.
Read the Second Amendment – it is not just a “guarantee” that our “government” (at all levels) will never interfere with our pre-existing, God-Given Right, to provide for our own protection, that of our families, our society, and the Republic ….. it is a Call to Duty to do just that. It is the DUTY of the “militia” to protect all of that we hold dear. It is a Call to Duty to assist the Sheriff in putting down insurrection, rioting, and lawlessness.

The authorities and police have been far too reticent to take proper action against these thugs, and thugs is all they are. The concept of peaceful protest has been shown to be nothing but a sham in an effort to excuse their outrageous behaviour. It’s time to take matters in hand and get tough with this crud and ignore the Democratic politicians.

Actually, these people want anyone – not just cops/law enforcement – to let themselves be stabbed or shot, looted or just hand over whatever it is that these people want to take….your goods, your car keys, house keys, jobs, businesses, lives, whatever it is they see that they want at that moment you better just stand still, then kneel down/bow and hold out your hand/head with the gift(s) they’ve asked of you.

You and me both! I am so beyond pissed that I feel any support I use to have for the less fortunate is now turning to total indifference especially with the protesters. All I see is a bunch of spoiled brats demanding everything for nothing. Why aren’t any of these people working? The virus is just another lame excuse so they don’t have to live in the real world. They’re going to be in for a rude awakening and I for one can’t wait for them to reap the benefits of what their useless protests have gotten them. A big fat zero! What a bunch of losers!
