Enforcement at bars and restaurants

Gov. Andrew Cuomo said that 37 bars and restaurants in the state were cited for violating pandemic rules in just one night. Most of the citations were in New York City and Long Island.

NEW YORK – There could be a lot fewer restaurants in New York due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A grim new report claims that 63.6% of all restaurants in the state could permanently close by the end of the year without a comprehensive relief package.

The New York State Restaurant Association (NYSRA) surveyed 1,042 restaurateurs across the state.

The survey found that the New York State restaurant industry is struggling to exist without some form of state or federal financial assistance.

The survey found that just 36.4% of restaurants said they are likely or somewhat likely to remain open.

Restaurants face decision: Break indoor dining mandate or permanently close

Of those who are likely to close, 54.8% will be forced to shut their doors before November.

“It is painfully clear that without financial assistance, the restaurant industry in New York state could collapse,” Melissa Fleischut, the association president and CEO said in a statement. “These recent survey results illustrate just how dire the financial situation has become for most restaurants, and it shows how critical it is that elected officials understand the urgency of the situation.”

Cuomo stands firm on NYC indoor dining ban

These results come on the heels of a NYSRA survey from August that found that 89.7% of New York’s restaurant owners say that it will be very or somewhat unlikely that their establishments will be profitable in the next six months.

NYSRA members are asking for a relief package at the federal and state levels to help keep these important community resources viable and keep people employed.

Why should the people in the denigrated fly-over states pay for the financially destructive, Marxist policies of the degenerates who run the Dem0rat states? If I lived in Montana I’d tell DeBlasio and Cuomo or governor Newscum in Californication to go pound sand in hell before they steal a single dime of my citizens’ hard-won tax dollars.

NYC may never completely recover and become another Trenton, NJ.. Trenton never recovered from the 1960 riots. If a business has a choice, why stay there? What guarantee is there this will not happen again? So much for the prestige of a Manhattan zip code! Think about insurance rates and needed protection against thugs. Is it worth it? Who will protect you, your family, your business with police defunded? Third world illegals and other criminals will love it and eventually move on when there is nothing left to destroy, steal or people to rape, assault and murder.

It’s very sad. We’re not gloating over it. As a country, it just makes us all look more decrepit.

Daily deaths from COVID-19 have gone from 598 to 2 (likely zero by now); NYC has, in spite of Cuomo’s best efforts, inadvertantly achieved herd immunity: https://medium.com/@cbraman9/has-new-york-city-achieved-herd-immunity-c9e8428c36f2

The restaurants don’t need government money, they need to open up fully and start earning money again.

What happened to the CDC’s statement that 94% of their afore-attributed deaths from covid 19 ARE BOGUS?

And so will the premier culinary schools in New York City and in California. So as the saying goes poo poo rolls down hill. I lot of students that have students loans are going to be in debt for many years and most likely not even be working in culinary fields.

AND, THE DOJ IS NOT GOING TO DO ONE DAM THING TO HER!
Yet if anyone of us had done 1/5th of the crimes she’s done….we’d be in a cell right now.

If the citizens vote for either of them again…..then they deserve what they get.

The Good News about the Wuhan Virus is…..a lot of really bad politicians have been exposed for what they are……next election….let’s see how good or bad the voters are.

Where is the outrage? They voted for this. They are getting what they deserve. Unfortunately, liberals never take responsibility for their failures so they bring their destructive ideas with them there for destroying wherever they move.
