WASHINGTON, D.C. – Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., Dorothy S. The moderators, and the schedule and locations for the debates are as follows:

First presidential debate:

Chris Wallace, Anchor, Fox News Sunday
Tuesday, September 29, Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH

Vice presidential debate:

Susan Page, Washington Bureau Chief, USA Today
Wednesday, October 7, The University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT

Second presidential debate (town meeting):

Steve Scully, Senior Executive Producer & Political Editor, C-SPAN Networks
Thursday, October 15, Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, Miami, FL

Third presidential debate:

Kristen Welker, Co-Anchor Weekend TODAY, White House Correspondent, NBC News
Thursday, October 22, Belmont University, Nashville, TN

Fahrenkopf, Ridings and Wollack said that, “We are grateful to these experienced journalists, who will help ensure that the general election presidential debates continue to serve their unique educational purpose of helping the public learn about the candidates. Each individual brings great professionalism to moderating and understands that the purpose of the 2020 debate formats is to facilitate in-depth discussion of major topics.”

Format

The format for the debates, announced on June 23, 2020, will be:

First presidential debate

The debate will be divided into six segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate.

The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.

Vice presidential debate

The debate will be divided into nine segments of approximately 10 minutes each. The moderator will ask an opening question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.

Second presidential debate

The second presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which the questions will be posed by citizens from the South Florida area. The candidates will have two minutes to respond to each question and there will be an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate further discussion. The town meeting participants will be uncommitted voters selected under the supervision of Dr. Frank Newport, Senior Scientist, Gallup.

Third presidential debate

The format for the debate will be identical to the first presidential debate.

All debates will be moderated by a single individual and will run from 9:00-10:30 p.m. Eastern Time without commercial breaks. As always, the moderators alone will select the questions to be asked, which are not known to the CPD or to the candidates. The moderators will have the ability both to extend the segments and to ensure that the candidates have equal speaking time. While the focus will properly be on the candidates, the moderator will regulate the conversation so that thoughtful and substantive exchanges occur.

I don’t believe gladiators fighting to the death were a form of “entertainment” in the Roman Republic, only of the degenerate Empire.

Chris Wallace is a Liberal. Where is a Conservative moderator ? Maybe have the candidates choose their own moderator’s for a debate.

NIXON FAILED TO DEFEND HIM WHICH PAVED THE WAY FOR THE GLOBALISTS TO GO AFTER PRES. NIXON THE SAME WAY AFTER HE PISSED THEM OFF IN 1972 BY EXPOSING TO THE DIMS THEIR TROJAN HORSE IN THE GOP, NYC’S OWN MAYOR JOHN V. LINDSAY WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BETRAY THE REPUBLICANS AND UNITE THEIR TRAITORS WITH THE democ-RATS!
HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF! WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH JOHN KASICH AND SEN WILLARD MITT ROMNEY WAS SUPPOSED TO WORK FOR CHINA PRO-TERRORIST VP JOE EXCEPT HE’S MIGHTY SLOW AND NEEDS HIDING GLOBALIST BRIBE’M/BIDEN!
THE GOP FUNDAMENTALLY FAILED TO DEFEND THEIR OWN HOLDING THEMSELVES TO A STANDARD THAT THE DIMS NEVER HOLD THEIR OWN TO FOR A REASON: IT’S NOT SMART POLITICS! PERHAPS WITH THE TRUMPS THE REPUBLICANS WILL LEARN; DEFEND YOUR OWN AS LONG AS THEY DEFEND YOU AND DON’T TAKE SHORT TERM BRIBES FROM THE GEORGE SOROS-IAN GLOBALIST BANKING CLIQUE THAT LEADS YOUR POLITICAL PARTY TO A DEAD-END WALL WHEN IT KILLS OFF THE JOBS OF YOUR SUPPORTERS BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT THEY DO! IN THEIR BOOK, GLOBALIZATION AND ITS DISCONTENTS, THEY EVEN ADMIT IT TOO!

Curves and sliders to Trump and soft lobs to Sleepy Joe. Not one remotely unbiased moderator selected and someone like Donna Brazile will slip Joe the questions and help formulate the answers and pray Joey does not stray from the teleprompter.

I don’t think Pence will do well against Harris. She is vicious and lies allot.
Establishment Pence likes to see himself as some kind of a peacemaker messiah.
He doesn’t like confrontations.

Pence can hold his own against the empty shell Harris has proven herself to be whatever she’s called on to pretend to be. The senates second most radical in congress.

Biden hasn’t been in the media view very often. His conservative foundation is solid.

Pence wants his shot to run for president in 4 years, so, he`ll step up to swat down the ever mendacious Harris, as, this will make him look presidential.

I wonder which one of the moderators will leak the questions so Pervert Joe’s people can have him practice the answers?

There is always “Christian” Donna Brazile. CNN fired her for lying and Faux News scooped her up.

True. But if one reads Brazile’s book, she did expose how the behind the scenes hillary primary happened. Elizabeth Warren did also, because both were surprised how quickly the dem party allowed hillary to take over command after she paid off their party’s debt.

Don’t expect much from Faux News if these debates happen. A Biden win was engineered along time ago because he is the easiest to manipulate and “not all there”. Paul Ryan sitting on the board will also do his best to prevent a Trump win again.

Danny O’Brien
EVP, Head of Government Relations at FOX Corporation

(He is a hardcore Democrat)

Danny O’Brien is the Executive Vice President and Head of Government Relations for Fox Corporation. In this role, he leads the Company’s legislative, regulatory and strategic policy matters. Before joining FOX in October 2018, Mr. O’Brien served as the Government Relations Leader for GE Transportation, where he oversaw GE’s global engagement on commercial and public policy issues impacting GE’s aviation and locomotives businesses.

Mr. O’Brien served as a long-time senior advisor in the United States Senate where he was chief of staff to Senators Torricelli, Biden and Menendez. Serving the three Senators, Mr. O’Brien managed their policy, communications and political strategies. In the Senate, Mr. O’Brien also served as the staff director for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee where he managed the Committee’s policy and legislative priorities in the areas of national security, economic statecraft, human rights and democracy. Mr. O’Brien holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Redlands in political science and Spanish.

O’Brien started his career with the DNC as Director of Ethnic Outread for the Clinton WH and on the Al Gore camaign. He served as Biden’s Chief of Staff from 2003 -2006. He has also the political director for Biden’s 2008 Presidential campaign. O’Brien is a seasoned versatile guy and will do his best to steer a Biden win at Faux News.

I wonder how long Tucker Carlson and Lou Dobbs will last there….Judge Jeanie has already been reprimanded for commenting on Omar’s hijab and loyalty. Laura Ingraham sometimes doesn’t ask the obvious questions and unfortunately didn’t allow Trump to elaborate on the virus exaggeration – she cut him off in during her recent interview with him.

While O’Brian may or may not have supported Clinton, gore etc, he obviously failed to get them elected. Americans aren’t as easily fooled as Dems are.

Chris Wallace? Chris f*cking Wallace? Remember that shabby treatment of then-candidate Trump in the 2016 primary debates where Wallace and Megyn Kelly pulled that Pearl Harbor job on him?

It mercifully destroyed her career and irreparably damaged Wallace’s to the point his still being on any media outlet is a travesty.

Maybe it will serve as an audition for a new gig at CNN or BSDNC.
