Postmaster General Eviscerates Democrat Conspiracy Theories During Senate Hearing

U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy reassured Congress on Friday that the Postal Service is not hindering any of its mail processes leading up to the November election.
Story continues below advertisement“As we head into the election season, I want to assure this committee, and the American public, that the Postal Service is fully capable of delivering the nation’s election mail securely and on time,” DeJoy said.
Despite the fact that the left’s accusations about USPS and the election have been proven false or unfounded, many, including Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Taylor Swift, and members of Congress still latched onto the conspiracy theories as truth. The widespread hysteria of this issue led Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to call an emergency congressional hearing to question DeJoy, who fell prey to Democrats’ accusations that USPS and Trump are colluding to purposely remove mailboxes, slow mail delivery, and decommission mail-sorting machines.
When questioned by members of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committees about the integrity of USPS during the November election, DeJoy guaranteed that the allegations against him and Trump were unfounded.
“There has been no changes in any policies with regard to the election mail for the 2020 election,” he said.
He also stated his disdain for the “outrageous claim” that USPS is intentionally slowing down mail services and delivery, claiming that he is “extremely, highly confident” that the Postal Service will continue to serve the American people.
“We will scour every plant each night leading up to Election Day,” DeJoy said.
The Postmaster General also denied claims that he ever colluded with President Trump to change USPS policies to meddle in the November election.
“I have never spoken to the president about the postal service,” DeJoy said.
Video PlayerAs for the claims that he was merely appointed based on his Republican ties, DeJoy testified that his “commitment to public service” was the result of a bipartisan and unanimous appointment by the Postal Service Board of Governors.
Despite the left’s assertions that Trump and other Republicans want to cease sending ballots by mail, DeJoy communicated that he supports voting by mail and trusts the USPS to deliver ballots on time.
“I think the American public should be able to vote by mail, and the Postal Service will support it,” DeJoy said.
In addition to questioning on the 2020 election, a few members of the congressional committees expressed their concern about other aspects of USPS duties such as the delivery of medication. Those questions, however, were short-lived and grilling DeJoy about USPS and the election continued.
DeJoy and Robert Duncan, chairman of the Postal Service Board of Governors, are expected to appear before the House Oversight and Reform Committee on Monday to continue their testimonies about the Postal Service.

The Democrats will do anything they can to get Joe Biden elected. IMHO, if he is elected and sworn in, the cabinet that he puts in place will invoke the 25th Amendment and remove him from office so they can take a victory lap and say they finally have a female President. The common sense Americans in this country will not let that happen and will re-elect Donald J. Trump as the 45th President on November 3rd regardless of the way the elections is determined. The popular votes is not how we elect the President, but it seems that the left/liberals/socialists/democrats do not understand the electoral college. The founders were genius when they created the electoral college so that large population centers would not determine who was elected President. It actually put smaller states on a par with the larger states/population centers. I see that the schools don’t teach the Constitution any more. WHAT A SHAME.

I am sorry to say ‘maryland’ is one of the many states that have negated the electoral college’s ability to function. the COMMUNISTIC DemocRATs in maryland have tied the decision of the electoral voters to the “popular” vote.

Can’t say I disagree with you in the least, but I haven’t checked into it yet.
Maryland is so crooked. i.e. we pay sewer cost to the WSSC and then have to pay it again on our property tax bill. I’m in my 80’s but have to support the schools for the thousands of illegal that now attend. I’m still fuming because the poorest county (or nearly) is the highest for property tax. And stupidly I thought it would be the richest county that paid more, but they’re well below us.Then too they do have to make up for all the money they allowed their county officials steal.
I now have to pay over a quarter of my yearly income and that is after a reduction of about sixteen hundred dollars. Can you imagine? If it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t have any heat to get through the winter or even able to use a fan in the summer, as it is I have to cut back on everything. But that isn’t because of the communist, just that we’re a sanctuary county and we have to pay the extra for their schooling, while the schools not teach that “Jesus is a myth and allah is the only god!.” Have to support them and the others who live on welfare because they give illegal more than even the federal government allows.
But hey, I drive a car that’s now 16 years old and them? New SUV’s and can use their illegal drivers license that the democratic state of Maryland demand be supplied.
If I was physically able I would have been out of here.
Anyway, when you mention Maryland, give them credit where credit is due. They hate their own citizens and love anyone that can take MD (or the U.S.) down. If anything comes out of MD, don’t put any trust in it. They are worse than you can imagine…

Post Office has $15 billion in reserve and can get up to $10 billion as a loan from Treasury, so why are the Dems so intent on giving the Post Office $25 billion of unneeded funding?
Why are the Dems so silent about Obama/Biden removing mailboxes when they were in charge?

Box’s aren’t being removed, they are being relocated to places where they have a higher volume of mail. Places where they are currently are just not seeing any real use, so they are getting moved to locations that are seeing a huge volume and can be used much more efficiently. Have seen several articles on this recently, and was a couple debunking myths on the postal crap being spewed recently. This was one of them.

Two more for you
Paying for overnight delivery to get a large birthday card to a cousin and it was postmarked as being delivered from MD to Ohio, WV, VA, NC then back to Northern WV and finally a month later was received in Greembrier County in southern WV.
Tell about the letter that was returned ten days later saying no such address, was only 31 miles away from me and I knew the people who lived there for more than 20 years.
You can’t make this stuff up…

Ah, aren’t you the sweetheart to be concerned. : ) Started out there were four pairs of those ruby slippers, really. Well a lot of dancing was going on in 39, even a bit by me I’m sure. Of all things the best pair was put in Judy’s museum and stolen in 05 and not recovered until 2018. How about that for facts? Another tidbit. Toto’s real name was Terry and her only staring roles was in Oz and then in Bright Eyes she played Rags. Bright eyes and sunshine were my childhood nicknames. No real need to guess why, giggle. Now would you have guessed that I’ve been down this road before? lol Thanks for putting a smile on my face. Not many of them going round these days. Sigh.
