“More than a month after New York’s June 23 primary elections, state election officials are still counting votes. In some legislative districts, they haven’t even started counting absentee votes. In the best-case scenario, election officials hope to declare winners by the first Tuesday in August—six weeks after Election Day. It might take a lot longer than that. Election officials in New York City have already invalidated upwards of 100,000 absentee ballots—about one of every five that were mailed in from the five boroughs. And furious candidates are already filing lawsuits charging discrimination and disenfranchisement.”

All of New Jersey’s approximately 6.2 million registered voters will receive mail-in ballots to vote in November’s election as the state continues to cope with the coronavirus pandemic, under an executive order Gov. Phil Murphy signed Friday.
Murphy said the Garden State will have a “hybrid” election Nov. 3, with expanded mail-in voting and a select number of in-person polling locations across the state where people can vote via paper provisional ballot.
The move comes despite President Donald Trump amping up his opposition to widespread mail-in voting while he vies for re-election in November and over the objections of local Republicans and county leaders.
It also comes amid concern over how the U.S. Postal Service will handle the election season. It was revealed later Friday that the agency has sent New Jersey and other states a warning letter that it can’t guarantee all mail-in ballots will be delivered in time to be counted.
“Everybody gets a ballot,” Murphy said as he announced the decision during an interview Friday morning on “New Day.”
“As much as we enjoy the time-honored traditions of joining our neighbors on line to cast our ballots on Election Day, and as much as we are energized by seeking packed polling places, we must recognize that this is not a regular election year,” the Democratic governor added Friday afternoon as he unveiled more details during his latest coronavirus briefing in Trenton.
“We can say that in more ways than one, but it certainly matters in terms of how we go about ensuring a free and open election in the face of this ongoing pandemic,” he added.
New Jersey is one of four states, plus Washington, D.C., to announce they will proactively mail ballots to voters before the election this year.
The goal is to create more social distancing by cutting down lines at polling locations and to give people concerned about voting in person an alternative.
The setup Murphy announced is similar to how New Jersey held its primary elections in July, which were delayed a month and held mostly mail-in, with some physical voting locations, to help protect against COVID-19. The state also delayed a number of local elections earlier in the year and made those races vote-by-mail only.
But the general election is a much larger undertaking, with much higher stakes and a likely much larger turnout. At the top of the ticket is the presidential race between Trump, a Republican, and former Vice President Joe Biden, his Democratic challenger.
U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., is also running for re-election against Republican Rik Mehta, and all 12 of New Jersey’s U.S. House seats are on the ballot. There will be local races, as well.
Under Murphy’s order, county clerks must mail ballots with prepaid postage to voters by Oct. 5.
You can either then mail in your ballot, drop it in a secure drop box being set up across the state, take it to one of the select physical polling locations, or vote by paper provisional ballot in person, Murphy said. Only people with disabilities will be able to vote via machine in person.
There will be at least one in-person polling location in each of New Jersey’s 565 municipalities.
The state will also set up at least 10 secure boxes in each county where you can drop your ballot.
If voting by mail, all ballots must be sent through the U.S. Postal Service, postmarked by Nov. 3, and received by election boards by 8 p.m., Nov. 10 — a week after Election Day.
Ballots that lack postmarks because to postal error must be by 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 to be counted — 48 hours after in-person polls have closed.

That was to be expected. When he says EVERYONE will get a ballot, he means it. Illegals, dead people, alive and dead pets, you name it. Never mind that fraud has already been found and people indicted. Pretend you didn’t hear about that. It’s a shame because other DEM governors like Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Nevada etc. that we need for electoral votes will fall in line. Just watch. Between social media, the biased msm media, biased searches, censorship and mail in voting, Biden could easily win. I have never seen such a GLOBAL effort to unseat a President.
In NJ I am not sure if they finalized who won in the primary for DEMS and GOP running. Some areas were supposed to REVOTE because it was so screwed up and this was a judge that okayed that. Some have already been charged with fraud. I doubt that the voter roll was be cleaned up so it will happen all over again. NJ is a lost cause. It’s totally corrupt.

You can vote by provisional ballot IN PERSON but not others!
I guess they need all the illegal and questionable votes they can get.
If you can be DISABLED and vote IN PERSON,
why not allow ABLE-BODIED people vote IN PERSON?
How come they are not “at risk”?

‘Sterilizing children’ bill heads to Calif. Senate floor amid public outcry

A committee in the California state Senate voted earlier this week to approve a bill creating a fund for experimental medicalized gender-transition procedures, including cross-sex hormones and body-altering surgeries for both minors and legal adults.
The move came after the Health Committee chair said in late July that the measure would not be considered for the rest of the year. After pressure from transgender activists, the legislators revived the bill and the Senate Health Committee voted 7-1 to pass AB 2218, which is called the Transgender Wellness and Equity Fund.
Opponents of the measure have been pointing out that one of the side effects of the combination of puberty-blocking drugs and cross-sex hormones is permanent infertility.
In hearings this week, the bill’s sponsors and proponents complained that they have been inundated with calls pleading with them not to support legislation that would fund the sterilization of children. The author of AB 2218, Assemblyman Miguel Santiago, D-Los Angeles, dismissed such concerns as “fear-mongering.”
“Let me be very clear and get the record straight,” Santiago asserted, “nothing, I will repeat, talks about sterilizing kids. Nothing, I will repeat, in this bill points to anything to do with children … I think it is fear-mongering and good for sound bites.”
Other legislators on the committee echoed his words, insisting the bill contained nothing to that end.

The bill has now moved to the Senate Appropriation’s Committee and will likely go on to the floor of the Senate before the end of August. If approved, Gov. Gavin Newsom is likely to sign it into law.

There was a situation in Calif.. where a juvenile in a detention center and unruly so to “control” him, they gave him estrogen to “calm him down”. This was done without parental consent or knowledge and the juvenile didn’t want it either. It was forced. Eventually it came out and now the parents are suing the doctor. Dr. Mengele would be envious.
