It is the Black community who have suffered most after Democrat cities defunded, pulled back police. Violent crime has skyrocketed. Murders at an all time high. Democrats don’t care. They exploit the Black community to their own malevolent ends.
But these communities need the police. They are being slaughtered.

Prominent Members Of Black Community Now Calling On NYPD To Bring Back Anti-Crime Unit

Barely a month ago, leftists began their campaign to defund and abolish the police.
In New York, after a string of violent crimes which in some cases have victimized babies, some members of the black community are already calling for a course reversal.
Two prominent members of the black community in New York City want the NYPD to bring back the anti-crime unit which was recently disbanded.

After another tragic weekend of gun violence, including the death of a 1-year-old, two members of the Black community called on the NYPD to bring back the recently disbanded Anti-Crime Unit to help get guns off the street.
CBS2 political reporter Marcia Kramer has more on the story.
It was a dramatic moment — Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams holding up a pair of baby shoes Monday after a 1-year-old became the latest victim of gun violence, caught in the crossfire at a family barbecue just hours before.
“Babies are not supposed to be wearing these in a coffin,” Adams said.
Adams, a former cop, became the second member of the African-American community to call on the NYPD to stop the violence by re-instituting the Anti-Crime Unit — undercover cops whose job was to get guns off the street. The unit was disbanded during the anti-cop protest that shook the city.
“I think that a total elimination is something we need to reevaluate,” said Adams. “Right now, bad guys are saying if you don’t see a blue and white you can do whatever you want.”

The NYPD took an oath. One supposes it was an oath to the people of the city not to the person of the mayor or his office. They should address de Blasio with the standard preface when you are about to drop the bomb, “Sir, with all due respect I cannot follow that order.” Then do what they swore to do, which logically involves arresting the current mayor for violating his oath of office and issuing a a series of illegal orders to the police.
Come on, police. You took an oath. Follow where it leads.

Oh, so NOW they cry for police protection. Why were they silent when the chaos broke out? To use their own phrase against them – silence is violence. They got what they wanted and now they still cry, lol. Its like South Africa, they were given a whole working country with a strong economy and sound infrastructure and what did they do? If these two “voices” can rally a large enough portion of the black community to agree with re-instating this Anti-crime Unit, apologize for their inaction when they were disbanded, and agree to begin a black movement within their own community to honor, respect and assist the ‘men in blue’ and monitor their own, then I would say YES, bring ’em back !!
