Due to Seattle’s unrest, billion-dollar investment firm moving to Phoenix ????

42

This is just the beginning. More companies will surely follow. Why would any corporation want to stay in Seattle? The mayor and local politicians appease criminals. In addition, the taxes and cost of living in Seattle are terrible. The people of Seattle are about to pay a big price for decades of voting for corrupt Democrat politicians.

Due to Seattle’s unrest, billion-dollar investment firm moving to Phoenix

By KTAR, June 23, 2020

PHOENIX — Coronavirus pandemic or not, an investment advisory company is leaving the cultural unrest in Seattle and moving its headquarters to Phoenix’s Camelback Corridor.

Story continues below advertisement

” … The unrest that has taken place in the city of Seattle … there is really is not a downtown business community today,” Smead Capital Management, President and CEO Cole Smead told KTAR News 92.3 FM.

Smead said that although taxes in Seattle are lower, candidate recruitment is harder and the cost of living within the city is more expensive than Phoenix.

“We’re hearing rumors of 40-story buildings that will be only 20-percent occupied by October,” Smead said.

“My biggest concern for Seattle was what the business community is going to come back to, and what kind of businesses are going to come back for customers.”

He found that metro Phoenix offers a better quality of life.

“My colleagues can pick the socio-economic rung of life that they want … live their lives, build
their households and have a family if they’d like,” Smead said.

“Where we’re coming from just wasn’t like that.”

An interesting development.

The bitter “fruits” of what those spud headed, virtue signalling know nothing anarchists rioted for days for are now being revealed to them.

Given that those losers “know a whole lot about what ain’t so” {thanks Ronnie} I’m sure part of the void will be filled by aging left wing hippies {if they can stop hugging trees and stuff} trying to keep the place afloat by flogging off herbal quack tonics, baskets and wooden dolls to others as daft as they are.

True equality and non racism – let em sink or swim. It’s cheaper.

it’s a shame what the liberal demoncrats have done to a historical city like Seattle. it has a colorful history and was once beautiful. liberals have destroyed it just like they did with San Fransicko. They are like a plague of locusts that destroy everything in its path.
The problem with companies relocating is they will bring along the same kind of people that voted for these politicians in the first place and put their destructive policies in place that ruined the city like a cancer.

Your last paragraph was definitely a well aimed tack driver.

Saw it happen to Austin, Texas. A once friendly and safe city that has become not safe for man nor beast.

Not even safe for beasts? Hell, I thought the beasts ran Austin.

If it’s beasts that are running Austin, they’re giving beasts a very bad reputation.

I am a Miami native. Tell me about it. The entitled from NY, NJ, ILL,
CA and the rest come into my state and start demanding and want it for
nothing. I tell people they are welcome IF they keep their liberal
ideas where they came from. I have no tolerance for those wanting to
destroy my state,.

I thought only people from NYC were morally challenged, deranged lieberals? Isn’t the rest of the state of NY normal?
You should round up anyone from Californication at gunpoint and throw them out of your state before they infect your body politic w/their degenerate, unhinged decadence.

That’s what my relatives in Idaho say. The Californians move to get away from their fouled nest and start the same stuff when they move. They hate Californians moving in. I am sure they aren’t all that way but far too many are.

A lot of people from WA are going to Idaho, too. I’m looking to leave my liberal city, but I do NOT want to end up with the same crap all over again. I don’t want to go to a state where these lefties are wrecking it. If we don’t elect some sane people next round, it’s only going to get worse.

Why is it that the good people of this “historical city” did not fight those vicious people????

Just how despicable are democrats to not disassociate themselves from these uncivilized people? Are the CPUSA controlled democrats so invested in making the USA a Communist Utopia that they are willing to allow the country to be destroyed? Sure seems so.

For the BLM Marxists get a clue. The ONLY lives which should matter are Civilized Lives.

Civilized Lives Matter [CLM].

CLM includes ALL races, religions, sexes, political ideology, occupations, and ONLY excludes those who have proven they cannot coexist with the rest of humanity.

We cannot allow the uncivilized element to control the nation’s politics and laws.

These are NOT peaceful protests and as such they have ZERO protection from out Constitution.

Unfortunately for the future of the country, Deep State Democrats, their propaganda machine in the MSM, our public schools and higher education and our DOJ, give these uncivilized criminals protection, while at the same time, assuring we cannot respond without the brute force of government destroying us.

Such weakness in authority with the lies of the lamestream (MSM) media are endemic & all too prevalent in Britain. From slavishly spouting & overexaggerating UKGov stats about the Covid 19 virus (< 0.5% actually infected & a even smaller fraction dying from the disease) to grovelling to the commie anarchists of antifa & BLM- the establishment has shown itself to be weak, duplicitous & most definitely not on the side of the majority of the people. At least those that still think for themselves & have not succumbed to leftist pc propaganda over the last 30 years or more & also the more recent fear & hysteria deliberately spread by UKGov & the MSM.

I hope you are right. I really believe if “Stinkfinger Joe” gets elected it will be the end of America. Stinkfinger never was any good in his good (for him) days. He is obviously getting senile and everyone knows someone else will be pulling the strings. I fear those controlling him will bring craziness to levels we could not imagine.

I think the stealth Trump voters will be a massive amount. But DEMAND to vote in person. I voted in April in person. The lines were long because hardly any polling sites were open, but pretty much no CCP virus spike due to it. 50 cases statewide among voters/poll workers, and you can’t prove they got it at the polls. I will take a day off if I have to, to vote in person.

Actually it was a string of past presidents (including both Bushes) under the Bilderberg Group New World Order Agenda. Read Daniel Estulin’s book “The True Story of the Bilderberg Group.” Trump was not on their “approved list” so their goal has been stalled.

Miami is pretty much like any other large city, but it has gotten a lot better than it was in the 90’s, but I’m about 45 minutes North away from Orlando, it’s called Clermont FL. It has rolling hills and plenty lakes for fishing and access to numerous outdoor and indoor firing ranges. Moved away from Orlando about 16yrs ago and is the best decision I could have made for my family!!!

Couple of years back I was in Seattle on a trip (passing through). The tents all over and insane or drug crazed street people assaulting working people as they tried to walk by was appalling to me. So the stupidity they are in now is no surprise.

Maybe what we really need is to exorcise some of these cities. The kind of evil and depravity at the current levels is not just happening from out of nowhere.
