Multiple Reports: Atlanta Cops Walk Out in Protest

Swathes of police officers in Atlanta, GA, are “walking off the job,” according to multiple reports published Wednesday evening.
Todd Starnes tweeted, “BREAKING NEWS: Georgia police sources tell me only two police precincts are staffed in the entire city of Atlanta. Entire zones of officers are walking off the job. Zones 1,3,5 and 6 have left their posts. Zones walking off the job. #BlueLivesMatter.”
Atlanta’s CBS affiliate reported that it had confirmed the walkout through its own sources:
Earlier suggestions that multiple officers from each zone had walked off the job were inaccurate. The department is experiencing a higher than usual number of call outs with the incoming shift. We have enough resources to maintain operations & remain able to respond to incidents.

Several Atlanta Police officers have reportedly walked off the job at precincts across the city. The claim comes hours after charges were filed against ex officer Garrett Rolfe and Officer Devin Brosnan in the Rayshard Brooks’ case.
The buzz of patrol officers staging walkouts and refusing to answer calls from Precincts 3,5,6 and others began circulating social Wednesday evening. CBS46 confirmed the walkout through sources at 8:30 p.m.
The Atlanta Police Department acknowledged a “higher than usual number of call outs” on Wednesday evening while claiming that it had the resources necessary to “respond to incidents.”
Atlanta’s FOX affiliate also reported on the police walkouts, stating that it had “received several tips that officers were walking off the job en masse.” It linked the reported police walkouts to the charges — including felony murder — against 27-year-old former Atlanta Police Officer Garrett Rolfe, who shot and killed 27-year-old Rayshard Brooks.
Breitbart News reported on the incident between Rolfe and Brooks:
Police body camera video shows Brooks and officers having a relatively calm and respectful conversation for more than 40 minutes before things rapidly turned violent. Brooks wrestled with officers, snatched one of their stun guns, and turned and pointed it at one of them as he ran through the parking lot. Rolfe then opened fire.
Morale among Atlanta’s police “is down tenfold,” said Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) on Wednesday.
According to the Atlanta Police Foundation, eight of the city’s police officers have resigned since the beginning of June.

Who can blame them? Police are abused too. Dumping liquid on them and another officer had a BLM supporting business, Shake Shack or something like that., where an employee put BLEACH in their coffee. Others refuse to serve them etc..When will they start throwing acid at them instead of water? Criminals are often better armed than they are. They aren’t allowed to do their job when ordered to “stand down”. ALL police are being lumped together as abusers. Imagine how demoralizing that is fpr the majority of them that are good. They aren’t ALL abusers. Weed out the bad ones and raise your kids right!!

We take good care of our local police and have little to no crime. When others are high or drunk, that’s when the trouble escalates. Where are the parents? Where are the clergy? Who is raising them? Kids on the street? In my day growing up, you had respect for authority and didn’t behave like that and it kept you out of trouble. Weed out the bad cops or you won’t have ANY of them becoming cops. They’ll be replaced with lawless BLM and ANTIFA types. Then people will really have something to fear and complain about. The majority of cops are good. It’s already becoming more difficult to enlist more good cops.

It’s stupid to resist arrest or take an officers weapon but that shouldn’t mean a death sentence unless the officer’s life is threatened. That can be a tough judgment call to make in seconds. To avoid all this, obey laws, lay off the drugs and alcohol and don’t resist arrest. When police get called, they often don’t know what they are dealing with.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected President Donald Trump’s effort to end legal protections for 650,000 young immigrants, a stunning rebuke to the president in the midst of his reelection campaign.
The justices rejected administration arguments that the 8-year-old Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program is illegal and that courts have no role to play in reviewing the decision to end DACA.
Chief Justice John Roberts, joined by his four liberal colleagues, wrote for the court that the administration did not pursue the end of the program properly.

“We do not decide whether DACA or its rescission are sound policies,“ Roberts wrote. “We address only whether the agency complied with the procedural requirement that it provide a reasoned explanation for its action. Here the agency failed to consider the conspicuous issues of whether to retain forbearance and what if anything to do about the hardship to DACA recipients.”
The court’s four conservative justices dissented. Justice Clarence Thomas, in a dissent joined by Justices Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch, wrote that DACA was illegal from the moment it was created under the Obama administration in 2012.
Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote in a separate dissent that he was satisfied that the administration acted appropriately in trying to end the program.

The SCOTUS can ONLY uphold existing law based on the US Constitution and uses the precedent of existing laws to rule on cases before them.

What Justice Roberts is doing is creating Precedent that makes any Presidents Executive order into being a Law – and Obama made a lot of such EO’s that no one could actually figure out at the time.

They can answer the call at 10 mph in their cars and take the scenic route and report that they are in route. The same practice can be used for the return trip. Once they have been dispatched it will be a supervisors problem to reroute them to a more important call as it is beyond the dispatchers responsibility.

Here are my predictions, the DA in this case filed felony murder charges even before the Georgia Bureau of Investigation had finished their work as an election ploy to mollify those bent on revenge instead of justice.
Should he win in that runoff election, he can then reduce the charges to something more manageable in open court, possibly allowing the defendant cop to plead it down to next to nothing, instead of losing the case outright.

A second or two before the video cuts off you can clearly see a flash of a discharge from the taser yet this report does no mention that the taser was fired at the police officer. Once again are our lying eyes not telling us the democrat fabricated truth? I have watched the video of the incident well over 30 times and each time my lying eyes see the perp firing the taser at the cop.

The WORST part is that the DA started spewing instead of letting a Grand Jury decide. The officers were tried and convicted before they even had their day in court! Our laws have turned upside down and We The People better do something to straighten out this stinking mess!
Today, in my state (Oregon) in Portland, complete mindless morons took down the statue of George Washington and threw burning American flags on top of it! Enough is ENOUGH of this BS!! I don’t know about others, but I’m locked and loaded and ready to stop the insanity with whatever it takes!
