The man accused of shooting two cops and stabbing a third in Brooklyn this week screamed “Allahu akbar!” three times during the unprovoked attack, police said Saturday.
Authorities have so far been unable to tie the man, Dzenan Camovic, to any organized terror group, but there are indications that his alleged tactics and ambush were similar to anti-police attacks in Paris and elsewhere, according to John Miller, the NYPD’s deputy commissioner of counter terrorism.
“All the hallmarks that would be out of the terrorist playbook,” Miller said at a briefing from NYPD headquarters in lower Manhattan
Camovic, 20, opened a Twitter account this month, and liked 24 tweets from those writing about George Floyd protests, looting in Soho and anti-cop propaganda, police said.
Camovic, who lives with his family in Sheepshead Bay, allegedly ran up to an officer and stabbed him in the neck just before midnight Wednesday night on Flatbush Avenue near Church Avenue, police have said.
He then allegedly took control of the officer’s gun, and shot two officers in the hand, cops said. A sergeant who responded to the scene shot Camovic.
He was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition and has not been interviewed because he is intubated, sources have said.
He is expected to be charged with three counts of attempt murder on a police officer. The FBI is involved to see if federal charges will be filed.
A relative told The Post Thursday that Camovic, whose family hails from Bosnia, is a practicing Muslim and “absolutely not a terrorist.”
Allahu Akbar is Arabic for “God is great!” and is used by Muslims as a declaration of faith.

Better yet:
1) Renounce membership in the UN plus ALL its member-organizations (FAO, WHO, UNESCO, UNICEF, IAEA, ILO et al), then EVICT them all from the West. The same should apply to organizations with Moslem &/or Marxist memberships.
2) Forbid ALL Moslem travel to ANY part of the West, for whatever reason and under any plus all circumstances. [Encourage Moslem travel (including eventually by force – and destitute at that stage!!) OUT of the West – except of those convicted of any & all of murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, assault (including rape), &c.: those ought to be summarily KILLED with no time or mercy spared!!!]
3) Withdraw ALL Westerners OUT of dar al-Islam on pain of their losing Western citizenship (especially if they’re “taken hostage” if they don’t leave within 24 hours of announcement);
4) Terminate and forbid ALL communications (including Internet, telephone, telegraph, regular-mail) with any and all Moslem entities (people, groups, states, &c.) other than for a blanket declaration of that ANY attempts by Moslem countries at military measures of any sort will be seen as acts of war, to be responded to accordingly – with NOTHING left off the table (including thermonuclear, biological, chemical and other weaponry).

Too bad the responding officer wasn’t a better shot. No county hospital expenses, no costs regarding detention, no time wasted preparing a case, no court costs and no prison expenses. True, there will be the usual “why couldn’t you have disarmed him” chant, but a linen bag and a hole in the ground is about what he needed.
Imagine if the police were disarmed or defunded. Imagine if there were no police and this animal was let loose on society with no social restrictions.
