Trump calls Flynn ‘innocent man’ after DOJ drops case against former national security adviser

Story continues below advertisementPresident Trump praised his former national security adviser Michael Flynn and tore into the administration of former President Barack Obama on Thursday after learning that the Justice Department had dropped its case against Flynn.
“He was an innocent man,” Trump said of Flynn during a meeting at the White House with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. “Now in my book he’s an even greater warrior.”The Justice Department’s move to drop its case comes shortly after internal memos were released that raised serious questions about the nature of the investigation that led to the retired Army lieutenant general’s 2017 guilty plea for lying to the FBI.
Those documents showed how agents discussed their motivations for interviewing him in the Russia probe—questioning whether they wanted to “get him to lie” so he’d be fired or prosecuted, or get him to admit wrongdoing. Flynn allies howled over the revelations, arguing that he was essentially set up in a perjury trap.
Flynn in January moved to withdraw his guilty plea for lying to the FBI in the Russia probe, citing “bad faith” by the government. That court filing came just days after the Justice Department reversed course to recommend up to six months of prison time in his case, alleging he was not fully cooperating or accepting responsibility for his actions.
The case had been plodding through the court system with no resolution ever since his original plea, even amid speculation about whether Trump himself could extend a pardon.
Trump on Thursday claimed Flynn was a target of the Obama administration and called the investigation into his former national security adviser treasonous.
“They’re human scum,” Trump said. “It’s treason.”The president also targeted the news media for its coverage on Flynn, and called on the New York Times and the Washington Post to return their Pulitzer prizes for coverage on the investigations into Russian interference during the 2016 election.
“Those writers… are thieves,” Trump said. “They should be forced to give back Pulitzer prizes.”

Wimps drop case, rather than proceed and get crushed by Flynn’s legal team. Typical of Feds, avoiding their own reckoning after destroying the career and reputation of an innocent man.

CAN YOU IMAGINE ALL THE MONEY FLYNN HAS HAD TO SPEND TO PROVE HIS INNOCENCE? IF I WERE FLYNN, I WOULD COUNTERSUE THE DEMOCRAT PARTY AND SPECIFICALLY BARACK INSANE OBAMA AND HIS HENCHMEN TO GET BACK THAT MONEY.

The Democrats win by destroying the name of their political opposition. They have always been successful because the people who bankrolled the MSM did so to use it as a propaganda machine that advances the political power of the Democrat Party. The Democrats can’t compete for political power by boasting about their successes because the cities they control reveal a history of slow ruin. The condition of their cities proves their intent. The Democrat Party is tasked with the destruction of the USA from within. The Democrats are loyal to a collective of European centered families (the old rulers). They are what this country separated ourselves from at birth. The Democrat Party is the US political power of a collective of central banks and privileged families from across the Atlantic.

The old rulers controlled the laws, currency, the value of currency, the means to earn currency, the things people can buy with currency, and what people are supposed to know and believe. They fought each other across Europe.
In a modern world, add energy and MSM to the equation. Add cooperation to eliminate the threats to their rule by controlling the 1% who are skilled in every conceivable method of controlling people. Better yet, add control of or loyalty from the 1% who control the biggest obstacle to your global rule, and who were the biggest threat to all the old rulers from birth. (free people)

The Democrats have committed many crimes during and since the 2016 election. Many powerful people have put their careers and lives on the line. The reason so many people did so many rotten things is far worse than what they did during and after the 2016 election. What we’re beginning to see is the tip of an iceberg.

Not only was Michael Flynn a Democrat, he had the gall to become part of the hated Trump team and state the truth about the pointless wars in the middle east and the truth about Islam. ALL this factored into why they went after Flynn. Flynn was on the same page as Trump in pulling out of the middle east and not pretending that Islam is a “relgion of peace”.

The President has correctly characterized the DOJ/FBI cabal that orchestrated these crimes as human scum and traitors. Will they be prosecuted? I doubt it. They have immunity as card carrying member of the Deep State. The terms “politicizing,” “weaponized.” or “incompetence ” are simply not correct. Do not think for a moment that the tactics, lies, subterfuge utilized by the DOJ/FBI is reserved for specific political targets. It is Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the DOJ and the FBI who are populated by the worst vermin and scum this nation can produce. They may be more sophisticated than the NKVD or the KGB, or the Gestapo, but are far more villainous and evil as their arrogance, hubris and practiced deceit poison the well of our Republic. Moreover, they commit these crimes with impunity as the system will protect them and render them immune not only from prosecution butl reward them with promotion and applause. The federal judges are part of the problem as they allow and even encourage this evil behavior. In fact, a large part of the federal judiciary are part of the problem. Now, Flynn is free and I know Sydney Powellwill pursue the DOJ for damages, but what about the thousands of innocent Americans who have fallen victim to the DOJ and whose lives were ruined, families destroyed, languished in prison. What about them? Are they to be ignored? Will their grievances go unaddressed? What will be done now is to review every case of the DOJ/FBI where the same tactics enumerated so well in the case of Gen Flynn was employed?
