New York Times Editor Admits Biden Sexual Assault Story was Censored at Behest of Biden Campaign

In what world would the New York Times do same for Trump? The American people are under attack by the enemy of the people – the Democrat media. So much for #metoo, hypocrites.

Pelosi: ‘Satisfied’ with Biden’s Answer on Sexual Misconduct Allegations

New York Times Editor Admits Biden Sexual Assault Story was Censored at Behest of Biden Campaign

Story continues below advertisement

By: Daniel Greenfield, FGM, April 14, 2002:Dean Baquet is not a very bright guy. The New York Times isn’t there for any obvious reason except his willingness to be both a token, and, unlike his predecessor, submissive to the Sulzberg clan, while pushing assorted identity politics agendas.

It takes a very ‘not bright guy’ to make the admission that Baquet did about the Times’ hit piece on Tara Reade, the former Biden Senate staffer who had accused him of sexual assault.

The New York Times whitewashing piece had initially included and then deleted a paragraph that attracted a lot of attention.

“The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden, beyond the hugs, kisses, and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable.”

The “pattern” is pretty obvious and the sentence is self-contradictory.

Aside from all the groping, there was no pattern of sexual misconduct.

Baquet then went on to explain the deletion.

“Even though a lot of us, including me, had looked at it before the story went into the paper, I think that the campaign thought that the phrasing was awkward and made it look like there were other instances in which he had been accused of sexual misconduct. And that’s not what the sentence was intended to say.”

Which campaign? Not the campaign for accuracy in the New York Times. But the Biden campaign.

The paper’s editor not only admitted that the paper is in touch with the campaign, but that it edits pieces about Biden after prompting from the campaign. The Times has destroyed what little is left of its credibility and the incident will be repeatedly used to hammer the paper by the Trump campaign. And the hammering will be thoroughly deserved.

This sort of thing goes on all the time. But Baquet was an idiot to admit it.

The NYT is a fair and objective news organisations. Now, what is wrong with that statement. There are at least three errors.

Media bias by omission is not new to the NYT, Washington Post, Boston Globe, LA Times, Pravda, China’s People’s News, Iran’t Press TV, and RT, to name but a few. Its news manipulation, and this should be made into a big deal. Unfortunately, the media very rarely squeals on itself.

Wait, wasn’t there a book about this? 1984. Only double plus good news will be published, and 2+2=5.

It’s said that #MeToo are hypocrites. I’d say the whole thing’s been political from the start. Their treatment of Biden’s accusers vs., say, the Kavanaugh imbroglio, shows just how much the whole movement, from those who started it to those who are its biggest followers, is basically comprised of open, avid, staunch, ardent, gung-ho, dyed-in-the-wool, frothing-at-the-mouth Hillary Clinton supporters who had everything invested in her failed 2016 Presidential campaign – and remain bitter to this day that “their” candidate lost to Donald Trump. And what’s more, onetime kidnap victim Elizabeth Smart has said she supports the movement – but where were they for her when her abductor and his accomplice were let out of prison scot-free early? I’ll tell you: Crickets chirping in the background. In short, hugely partisan. Go ask those sexually abused by Bill Clinton.

The New York Slimes needs to change its masthead from, “All the news that’s fit to print” to, “All the news that fits.” I have a sneaking suspicion that on the walls of every office at the NYT hangs a picture of Goebbels.
