G7 leaders call for ‘thorough review’ of besieged WHO amid questions about coronavirus, pro-China bias

Trump leading from the front.

G7 stands for “Group of Seven” industrialized nations. It used to be known as the G8 (Group of Eight) until 2014 when Russia was excluded because of its annexation of Crimea from Ukraine. China’s crimes are much worse than that.
France, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and West Germany formed the Group of Six in 1975 so that the noncommunist powers could come together to discuss economic concerns, which at the time included inflation and recession following an OPEC oil embargo. Canada joined the following year. Russia eventually joined in 1998 — and its inclusion was meant as a signal of cooperation between East and West after the Soviet Union’s collapse in 1991. G7 leaders call for ‘thorough review’ of besieged WHO amid questions about coronavirus, pro-China bias

The leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) countries are calling for a “thorough review and reform process” for the World Health Organization (WHO), the White House said Thursday — two days after President Trump announced he was halting funding to the embattled organization.

The announcement came from a readout from the White House after a videoconference meeting between the leaders, chaired by Trump.

“The leaders recognized that the G7 nations annually contribute more than a billion dollars to the World Health Organization (WHO), and much of the conversation centered on the lack of transparency and chronic mismanagement of the pandemic by the WHO,” the White House statement said. “The leaders called for a thorough review and reform process.”

The announcement comes after significant pressure on the U.N. agency across the globe, but led by the U.S., which cut funding this week.

Trump said Tuesday that the United States would undertake a 60-to-90 day investigation into why the “China-centric” WHO had caused “so much death” by “severely mismanaging and covering up” the coronavirus’ spread, including by making the “disastrous” decision to oppose travel restrictions on China.

The United States is the WHO’s largest single donor, and the State Department had previously planned to provide the agency $893 million in the current two-year funding period. Trump said the United States contributes roughly $400 to $500 million per year to WHO, while China offers only about $40 million.

SOURCES BELIEVE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK ORIGINATED IN WUHAN LAB AS PART OF CHINA’S EFFORTS TO COMPETE WITH US

“We have deep concerns over whether America’s generosity has been put to the best use possible,” Trump said.

The WHO response to the pandemic has come under heavy scrutiny as the coronavirus has ravaged countries across the globe. In particular, statements by WHO officials praising China’s response and repeating talking points, including that the virus could not be spread person-to-person, have amped up calls to defund the U.N. agency.

The G7 announcement comes a day after Fox News first reported that there is increasing confidence in the U.S. government that the COVID-19 outbreak likely originated in a Wuhan laboratory, though not as a bioweapon but as part of China’s attempt to demonstrate that its efforts to identify and combat viruses are equal to or greater than the capabilities of the United States.

DEFUND WHO and run away from them. Cut all funding to ANY organization that has anything to do with WHO. Allow NO back door funding to WHO. Why waste more time and money “investigating” WHO when the evidence is in your face? Cut your losses and move on! Start another group or leave it up to individual countries to do the job of WHO.

Any investigation showing China in error or at fault will be dismissed by China as an attack upon it. And then what? Crickets.

Trump will not tolerate crickets. Trump just cut the WHO funding half, 2 days ago. And the other group of 6 may see a chance to save money, and dump the WHO too.

END WHO FUNDING FOREVER! If they can put a corrupt, Marxist, imbecile like Tedroas in there to head it, what does that tell you about the organization? It is the WEST that is primarily funding it, with the U.S. contributing the most and it is the WEST that has suffered the most from the Chinese virus. How much more idiotic must it get? Let the third world countries fund it and run it.

I agree, I want to start our own UN, consisting only of the democratic free-enterprise constitutional republics. We have all the power and money anyway, and we get things done. Russia is excluded, but Botswana and Mongolia are democracies. Like that. And we will set up our own health organization.

He didn’t fund it half. He stopped it’s funding completely.

Yes, I agree, Trump did that. The total WHO budget is about $1 billion. So when Trump stopped the US contribution of $500 million, the WHO total funding was cut in half.

We have to admire the stealth and advanced warcraft of the ChiComs. Having decided to destroy their enemies through a bioweapon attack they cleverly captured and staffed with their own agents the world agency charged with detecting pathogens and epidemics and delaying a response until after their agents had spread the pathogen worldwide. Now they are employing thousands of embedded agents, useful idiots and fellow travelers to convince the world it was just an “accident” and they are really good guys.

That Trump is even sitting down with such treasonous vermin as Macon, Merkel, and Trudeau in the same room and at the same table to discuss any important issue should cause all Trump supporters to seriously question their allegiance to him.
Hey, folks, it’s time to stop confusing what you’d like to be true with what is.comment image

Rest assured Trudeau is not calling for a thorough review of WHO. Trudeau bows down before Xi Jinping.
Theresa Tam, appointed as Chief Public Health Officer of Canada in 2017, has failed miserably in dealing with COVID-19.
In addition, Tam serves as a consultant with the WHO. In other words, she has a conflict of interest. The greatest service she could do to Canada would be to resign as Chief Public Health Officer of Canada.

We learned on 15th April 2020 that Trudeau has just donated $828,000.00 to the Wuhan National Biosafety Laboratory (Level 4). Yes, that is the lab where COVID-19 broke out in November 2019.
