Sources: Coronavirus originated in Wuhan lab in bungled attempt to upstage US scientists

24

Now that it has become increasingly clear that the Chinese virus originated in a lab, the excuse being peddled in incredulous, at best. They create bio-weapons to show “its efforts to identify and combat viruses are equal to or greater than the capabilities of the United States.” sounds like a cover your ass move.

Mike Pompeo demands truth from Beijing as US investigates if COVID-19 escaped from Wuhan lab during experiments and China covered it up by blaming ‘wet’ food markets

  • Shocking report says officials believe Wuhan Virology Lab was source of virus
  • Claims virus was isolated from bat in bungling attempt to upstage US scientists
  • But escaped after lab worker became ‘Patient Zero’ in lab accident, reports say
  • China quickly blamed the Wuhan ‘wet market’, which did not sell bats
  • Country is refuting allegations the pandemic could have originated in laboratory
  • WHO parroted the Chinese government’s claim about the market’s likely role
  • Trump confirmed that the US is investigating the possible role of the lab
  • Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned Beijing to ‘come clean’
  • US diplomatic cables in 2018 warned of risky bat research at Wuhan lab
  • Army general admits that ‘we can’t be certain’ about where virus emerged
  • If true, the disaster could go down as biggest government coverup of all time

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has demanded that China ‘come clean’ following reports that coronavirus originated in a Chinese laboratory, not as a bioweapon, but as part of bungling experiments to prove that Chinese scientists were superior to Americans in identifying emerging virus threats.

Story continues below advertisement

It comes after President Donald Trump said on Wednesday the U.S. is trying to determine whether the coronavirus first crossed to humans accidentally during experiments with bats at the Wuhan Institute of Virology Lab.

After word of the outbreak finally became public, Chinese leaders were quick to blame Wuhan’s ‘wet market’ where wild animals — though not bats — are sold for consumption, leading one source to tell Fox News the debacle is the ‘costliest government coverup of all time.’

‘Patient zero’ worked at the Wuhan lab, and spread the virus into the local population after leaving work, sources who had been briefed on intelligence told the outlet.

Sources believe coronavirus originated in Wuhan lab as part of China’s efforts to compete with US

By Bret Baier, Gregg Re | Fox News

EXCLUSIVE: COVID-19 originated in a Wuhan laboratory not as a bioweapon, but as part of China’s effort to demonstrate that its efforts to identify and combat viruses are equal to or greater than the capabilities of the United States, multiple sources who have been briefed on the details of early actions by China’s government and seen relevant materials tell Fox News.

This may be the “costliest government coverup of all time,” one of the sources said.

The sources believe the initial transmission of the virus was bat-to-human, and that “patient zero” worked at the laboratory, then went into the population in Wuhan.

Asked by Fox News’ John Roberts about the reporting, President Trump remarked at Wednesday’s coronavirus press briefing, “More and more we’re hearing the story…we are doing a very thorough examination of this horrible situation.”

Documents detail early efforts by doctors at the lab and early efforts at containment. The Wuhan wet market initially identified as a possible point of origin never sold bats, and the sources tell Fox News that blaming the wet market was an effort by China to deflect blame from the laboratory, along with the country’s propaganda efforts targeting the U.S. and Italy.

U.S. Embassy officials warned in January 2018 about inadequate safety at the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab and passed on information about scientists conducting risky research on coronavirus from bats, The Washington Post reported Tuesday.

Responding to the report, Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Tuesday afternoon: “It should be no surprise to you that we have taken a keen interest in that and we’ve had a lot of intelligence take a hard look at that. I would just say at this point, it’s inconclusive, although the weight of evidence seems to indicate natural, but we don’t know for certain.”

Americans were originally helping train the Chinese in a program called PREVENT well before the Chinese started working on this virus. The French government helped the Chinese set up the Wuhan lab.

China “100 percent” suppressed data and changed data, the sources tell Fox News. Samples were destroyed, contaminated areas scrubbed, some early reports erased, and academic articles stifled.

STATE DEPT LEAKED CABLES RENEW THEORIES ON ORIGINS OF CORONAVIRUS

There were doctors and journalists who were “disappeared” warning of the spread of the virus and its contagious nature and human to human transmission.  China moved quickly to shut down travel domestically from Wuhan to the rest of China, but did not stop international flights from Wuhan.

Additionally, the sources tell Fox News the World Health Organization (WHO) was complicit from the beginning in helping China cover its tracks.

Trump announced at the White House coronavirus news briefing in the Rose Garden on Tuesday that the United States will immediately halt all funding for the WHO, saying it had put “political correctness over lifesaving measures.” The United States is the WHO’s largest single donor, and the State Department had previously planned to provide the agency $893 million in the current two-year funding period.

Senior administrations separately tell Fox News the rollout of the president’s “blueprint for re-opening the U.S. economy” will happen Thursday afternoon, first for governors and then briefed to the press.

Meanwhile, Trump’s own handling of the crisis has come into focus. On January 24, for example, Trump tweeted in praise of China’s “transparency” on coronavirus.

Though they were not speaking for the president, the sources ventured an explanation, saying it was diplomatic talk to make the Chinese “feel good”. while the investigation was ongoing, with trade and other talks happening simultaneously.

In the six days after top Chinese officials secretly determined they likely were facing a pandemic from a new coronavirus, the city of Wuhan at the epicenter of the disease hosted a mass banquet for tens of thousands of people; millions began traveling through for Lunar New Year celebrations.

TRUMP CUTS ALL WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION FUNDING

President Xi Jinping warned the public on the seventh day, Jan. 20. But by that time, more than 3,000 people had been infected during almost a week of public silence.

“This is tremendous,” said Zuo-Feng Zhang, an epidemiologist at the University of California, Los Angeles. “If they took action six days earlier, there would have been much fewer patients and medical facilities would have been sufficient. We might have avoided the collapse of Wuhan’s medical system.”

This is scary, and it will get worse before it gets better. A nursing home with dozens dying suddenly is very distressing:
https://www.foxnews.com/us/new-jersey-police-find-17-bodies-inside-nursing-home
There have been 68 recent deaths there, with more to come. It is true that the total mortality from the Covid-17 epidemic may eventually seem small compared to other mortalities that we take for granted. But no one, anywhere, really knows what will happen next.

Now the puzzle pieces are starting to come together …

… and, once again, it looks like the ‘conspiracy theorists’ were right – or closer to the truth than the rest of us …

… nonetheless, regardless of the virus origin – and it’s possible engineering –

the Chicoms

… let the virus spread in Wuhan for weeks after they knew they had a problem

… they locked down Wuhan – but not international flights

… they lied to Western authorities (who – like Dr. Fauci – were still parroting WHO/China disinformation AFTER Chinese doctors DISAPPEARED because they were sounding warnings …)

… and they obviously pressured their puppets – e.g. the WHO – to repeat their disinformation

So – even if the virus turns out to be a natural virus (doubtful) that was merely isolated in one of Wuhan’s labs – and miraculously mutated to alter the code for S proteins and make it transmissible from human to human …

… the Chicoms are Still Responsible for the disaster.

Fauci is responsible. His stealing 3.7 Million dollars, from U.S. taxpayers, to throw towards Chinese bat guano …. That’s the cause of this worldwide pandemic.

Round him up and don’t forget the rope.

That’s a good point, even if we can’t know everything, what we do know is damning. I’ve seen that sometimes in history, where just the uncontested facts are damning enough, and presented as such, without trying to come to a final conclusion about causes or origins, etc.

China should pay compensation to the the west for the economic damage alone. Interesting to see if the international courts have the courage, integrity and politics to actually do anything to justify their presence or pay. I doubt it as it is so much easier to listen to al Jazeera and then file a case against a western servicemen on faked war crime charges.

Locking down Wuhan and then letting infected people flee to to other countries amounts to deliberate genocide:

Every day, it looks more and more, as if Fauci was responsible for this “pandemic”. Starting with the $3,700,000.00 of U.S. taxpayer dollars that he gave the Chinese to dig up bat guano, to his close relationship to willy gates. And, it goes on from there.

While politically I can agree with you. Ethnically the local Taiwanese were not impressed when Chiang Kai-Shek’s defeated army flooded their shores. Having now said that the two have combined well to create a state that is everything communist China is not. BUT Taiwan is not China geographically. Much as I hate communism they do have a point however pathetic.

The Taiwanese were very happy to lose the evil Japanese occupiers and gain freedom and democracy from the Chiang Kai-Shek and NOT fall to the evil Communists.

Japan acquired Taiwan in 1895 following the first Sino-Japanese War, and it became a colony.

Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc.

https://www.britannica.com/place/Taiwan

Taiwan was returned to Nationalist Chinese control in 1945 following Japan’s defeat in World War II. However, in 1949 Chinese communist armies defeated Nationalist forces on the mainland and established the People’s Republic of China there.

Thank you for that although it was scarcely needed as I am well aware of Taiwanese, Chinese, Korean and Japanese history. If you do actually check you will find that the native Taiwanese did not appreciate the tsunami of Nationalist soldiers initially but when they discovered what the communist brought with them to the Chinese people on the mainland (death) all antipathy virtually ceased and the two have combined to make a very good nation state. However, politics or not China is effectively communist, legally or illegally a sit matters not and Taiwan is the sole bastion of a once free China. But to call it china however politically acceptable is a little silly IMO. However if China invades Taiwan I would expect even the mostly gutless west to act a sit is “THE test case” for Chinese expansion which will not stop there. Communism and Chinese imperialism are a bad pairing.

The FOX news theme that China was merely trying to outdo the US in virus research simply means that FOX was fed a bunch of Chinese propaganda hokey to take us off the trail. “Oh, it was only a lab accident” they can say. “Only trying to show off our stuff to our American lab partners.” Right. First question: Why are there “American lab partners” there? Second question: Is that ALL they were doing?

After the “wet market” excuse didn’t work as a cover, the fall back excuse is a lab accident – with Americans present. What’s the next excuse: “Oh, we were just developing bio-weapons, and there was an accident and it was released prematurely.” And the next: “We really didn’t intend to destroy the world economies and kill a million people.”

The excuses keep coming, don’t they.

Yes, I think that is what the Wuhan labs were doing, with US implicit acceptance. But devolping bio-weapons is against international treaties, and against international law. Obama ran a pretty disgusting administration.

Let’s start by looking into Dr. Death 9 (fauci) and his giving $3,700,000.00 American tax dollars, to China, to dig up bat guano. And, his very close relationship to wily (sell my vaccinations to everyone) gates … follow it up with his statements in 2017, and do a bit more digging. More and more, every day, it appears that Dr. Death was the cause of these mass murders.

I don’t take even fox as 100% as they have completely ignored journalists like Diana West and her book “The Red Thread,” which was launched at the Center for Security Policy. A former FBI agent and Marine Combat veteran has said the John Brennan was a convert to Islam as having voted for Gus Hall for president back in the ’70s. When I spoke to Frank Gaffney last summer I asked him what he thought, He responded “If John Guandolo said it, it’s probably true. Fast forward to today and I stumbled on this article on the virus:

HUGE EXCLUSIVE: Chinese Doctor Shi Zhengli Ran Coronavirus Research in Wuhan After US Project Was Shut Down by DHS in 2014 for Being Too Risky — PRIOR LEAK KILLED RESEARCHER

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/04/huge-exclusive-chinese-doctor-shi-zhengli-ran-coronavirus-research-wuhan-us-project-shut-dhs-2014-risky-prior-leak-killed-researcher/

How often has the book “Unrestricted Warfare” by Colonels Qiao Liang and Wang Xiangsui been mentioned on Fox. As a vet myself I’m aware of Sun Tsu Art of War and have no doubt that China will use any means possible to drop the USA.(https://warontherocks.com/2016/04/a-new-generation-of-unrestricted-warfare/) All the sports nuts think strategy is based on hockey and basketball. China and Islam have strategies so far advanced over any sport. When Trump put the tariffs on steel and aluminium that was a warning shot to China and the Globalists. All this offshoring and immigration done by Clinton and Reagan under GHW Bush are part of what the Clintonista Strobe Talbot spoke about, “end runs around national sovereignty.” For those that forget Talbot, who was in the Clinton Administration, said and I paraphrase “The end of the nation state had arrived and the American people would not accept it. As such they would have to make an end run around national sovereignty.” Tell all your Democrat voting friends “I hope you like this taste of a Communist state. The only left to experience is the KGB kicking down your door and taking you to the gulag.”

“On January 24, for example, Trump tweeted in praise of China’s “transparency” on coronavirus.”

His sources were medical leaders; who in turn were getting their info from WHO. And why Dr. Fauci downplayed the virus early on:

“This is not a major threat to the people of the United States and this is not something that the citizens of the United States should be worried about right now,” Dr. Fauci told Newsmax’s Greg Kelly on January 21.

and Medicine is different.
I would say all of us, even politicians will listen to a doctor’s advice more; than we would listen to a military general or an economist.

military matters are open to debate. economic matters are open to debate. we do it all the time on the news and online.

Medicine on the otherhand? it’s harder to ignore a doctor.

very few people will ignore the advice of their doctor, especially if there is a 2nd opinion: the WHO!

Bullsh*t! I may have come from a small town but I wasn’t the village idiot. The genesis of COVID-19 was a failed biological weapons experiment. It was extremely successful at killing people but soon spiraled out of control.

How else do you explain intel reports that they are fooling around with nuclear devices in violation of international treaties regarding “non-yield” (no detonations or fallout) experiments?
