The illegals who mow my lawn once a week are making more money (and sending most of it back home to their families in Mexico than they could make in a month back home. Two of them regularly use the local hospital ER for their medical needs, have never been asked to pay anything.

Locally the stores are steadily albeit slowly, emptying. Panic buying has gone past tp. Butter and meat sections most affected. Eggs have been making a comeback, though. Every shopper leaves with a fully loaded cart. Almost every shopper is wearing masks. People have no sense of when this may be over or when the all-clear will be given. A definite pall of tension is so thick you can feel it. It isn’t spoken but even the most pleasant shoppers are hypersensitive to personal proximity. Openly coughing is the worst possible thing a person can possibly do right now. Everyone has cooties and everyone else knows everyone else does. This. is. just. so. unhealthy. on. just. so. many. levels. Violence is eventually inevitable. People are going to start popping from the stupid, unnatural stress. This isn’t just unsustainable. It’s sick. Pray. Pray hard. Pray well. Pray for us.
