It begins again. Democrats, like the Nazis, politically persecute those they oppose. Schumer, who once pretended to be frum (religious) in order to get elected, is attacking a great friend of the Jewish people. He’s the lowest of the low.

Top Senate Democrat asks Justice Department to investigate Richard Grenell’s consulting work

Washington — The Senate’s top Democrat is calling on the Justice Department to investigate whether Richard Grenell, the acting director of national intelligence, failed to inform the department about work he did for foreign entities before joining the Trump administration, possibly in violation of federal law.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer sent a letter Tuesday to John Demers, assistant attorney general for national security, asking his office to “immediately investigate” reports of Grenell’s work in support of the Hungarian government and a Moldovan politician.
Failure to disclose that work as a foreign agent to the Justice Department could be a violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, which requires those who lobby in the U.S. on behalf of foreign entities to disclose their efforts. A search of FARA filings shows Grenell did not register.

Didn’t the Senate Judiciary have to approve Grenell’s Ambassador to Germany appointment? Since Grenell’s appointment to the DNI is only temporary, he doesn’t need approval from the Judiciary. Schumer is just causing a situation because he can.

Yes. But my point is that Schumer is also ‘signaling’ …
… virtue signaling to his base
… warning off would-be appointees to his opponents.
He’s been doing this consistently since Trump came on scene – I’m sure it has a suppression effect on the people Trump might appoint. He did it when Bush was President, but in more diplomatic terms as I recall.

Off Topic – But On the Topic of Posting …
As many of us may recall from the early days of ComPosting back in the 90’s … when our friends and relatives were still telling us social media (which they called the ‘internet’ or ’email’) would ‘never’ catch on …
One would ‘post’ … and the ‘post’ posted.
A few years ago, some genius inserted a ‘page jump’ feature … and I certainly assumed it was a ‘bug’ at first, but it’s obvious – after years of ‘posting’ and then ‘jumping’ to the top or bottom of a page or some other ‘jumping’ – it’s pretty obviously a ‘feature’ and not a ‘bug.’ …
Now – just in the last few days – the ‘jumping’ thing – has been expanded to every website I use. As soon as I post this … the screen will page down to the bottom. Not such a big deal on Geller, but on other sites, it’s a long way to the bottom.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Pardon me for paranoia, but I do not think this long-time ‘feature’ of social media posting can go unfixed as long as it has unless someone has a reason to NOT fix it. i.e. It is a ‘feature’ and not a ‘bug.’

Just curious, how do you sort the page? I sort by newest, and don’t experience jumping, though when a new post appears, the page often hops an inch or so.

Good question … I use “sort by newest” as my default … since I go to so few sites now. … The jump comes when I click ‘Post’ …

You have to use ad blockers nowadays. The companies and people who purchase ad space on websites sometimes embed videos in their adspace — whenever the video plays or replays your browser will jump to that section of the webpage.

I have used ad blocker but it also stops other useful parts of the page. I have to go past 4 or 5 ‘pages’ to read read the letters.

Sleazy Schumer, along with others within the Democrats’ Nazified political edicts, wants to keep the witchhunt from sucking its last gasp of stagnant air. To reiterate, quote the words of the late philosopher and ballplayer, Yogi Berra, “It ain’t over till it’s over”: Schumer and his team of nefarious, Democrat acolytes are unable, incapable of shaking off their odious anti-Semitic, anti-Constitutional Republic predilections. This deep-seated animus, and dogmatism of hatred, was and remains steadfast in the faux-Democrats’ political DNA.
One can only hope, pray that this perfidious man and his tagalong minions who spread a gospel of Jew-Israel-hatred, America-hatred will soon find themselves where they belong, the political minor leagues.
