Alan Dershowitz threatens to campaign against Bernie Sanders over ‘Corbyn endorsement’
The US senator, who is running to become America’s first Jewish president, made supportive remarks of the Labour leader in 2017

Story continues below advertisementAlan Dershowitz, the prominent US lawyer and pro-Israel activist, has vowed to campaign against Jewish candidate Bernie Sanders should he win the Democratic Party nomination for president.
Prof Dershowitz accused the Vermont senator of having “endorsed” Jeremy Corbyn for the UK “Prime Ministership”, describing the Labour leader of being “one of the men who has most promoted and tolerated antisemitism in England and in Europe”.
He made the comments in an interview on Larry King’s Politicking talk show.
When challenged by Mr King, who said he had never heard Mr Sanders make an antisemitic comment, Prof Dershowitz responded that “some of the worst people in terms of not promoting Jewish values are Jews”.
He added: “That’s no excuse. Karl Marx was a Jew, at least a Jew by heritage. So that’s no excuse.”
Mr Sanders did not endorse Mr Corbyn in the 2019 general election, and has not publicly backed him since doing so in 2017.
He will contest the Iowa caucus this week – the first of 50 primary elections in the race for his party’s nomination for president.
An early frontrunner, Mr Sanders is hoping to become the first Jewish president of the United States.
Prof Dershowitz, a renowned expert on criminal and US constitutional law, has received negative media attention in recent years for his previous association with Jeffrey Epstein.

In his case, does “agnostic” mean he doesn’t know if he does or does not hate himself? “Dersh” (I have called him that since we were kids) always know better than everybody else he happens to be talking to. That’s why he’s such a liberal schmuck. He sees himself as a traditional Democrat liberal. I guess that means he’s a New Deal lib or a Harry Truman or Kennedy lib. Yet, he fails to see that that “liberalism” so-called birthed the crap-minded ideology of the current year’s Leftocratic radically commie party leadership. Henry Wallace was marginalized by the Dems in 1948 and had to run (and lose) as a Progressive (pro-Commie), but the Wallacites slid back into the Dem Party over the years, and now are taking it over. He makes a big deal over the difference between “libs” so-called like himself and the modern leadership of the Dems, but he still voted for Hillary, and guess what (?) he will still vote for the Dem Party candidate I believe.

Dershowitz is strange He is still a registered DEMOCRAT!
Will he be campaiging for another Jew hating DEM instead? Each DEM running hates Jews and has the same communist sentiments but not as bold as Bernie is with it. Doesn’t he SEE that? He might be good with law but DUMB when it comes to SEEING the obvious outside law.
Why should just Bernie bother him? The rest of the Democrat party has the same sentiments. Doesn’t he get it? Obama admitted to being too soon with his agenda. They thought we were further along in embracing his worldview. Instead people WOKE UP and Trump gave them a voice and hope.
DEMS and some RINOS have the SAME AGENDA as Bernie. The only reason the DEMS are upset with Bernie is the TIMIMING IS OFF. Trump was a backlash to Obama’s agenda and Bernie is in your face with communism and Obama’s worldview that also embraces Muslims.
Bernie will most likely lose if he is the nominee and DEMS know it. So it’s not an issue about Bernie’s agenda – IT’S ABOUT THE TIMING OF BERNIE’S AGENDA FOR COMMUNISM, not Bernie’s ideology.
