Poll: Trump Approval Among Farmers Hits Record High at 83%

By Breitbart, January 20, 2019:

Support for President Donald Trump among American farmers is on the rise, according to a new poll released this week.

According to the latest Farm Journal Pulse Poll, which featured responses from 1,286 farmers, President Trump received an approval rating of 83 percent, a point higher than the previous poll. Only 18 percent disapprove of President Trump. Since Farm Journal’s tracking of Trump’s support from farmers in recent months, the latest poll marks his highest approval.

“Of note is the strongly approve category went up three percentage points from an already lofty (December) number and his highest overall approval ratings ever,” said Pro Farmer policy analyst Jim Wiesemeyer.

“That says the president’s approval is rock-solid,” Wiesemeyer added. “With the recent upbeat news on USMCA and the Phase 1 accord with China, the ratings will likely remain firm ahead.”

Farmers who stated they “strongly approve” of President Trump rose to 64 percent in January, up from 61 percent at the end of 2019. A mere 19 percent said they “somewhat approve” of President Trump’s performance, while only three percent said they “somewhat disapprove.”

“Trump needs the rural vote to keep the same states he won in 2016 in his win column come November,” Wiesemeyer said. “In fact, contacts say he is focusing on winning Minnesota this time as a backstop should he lose a state he won in 2016. That means agriculture will continue to be a key topic in the president’s re-election campaign.”

In accordance with the latest poll results, President Trump also spoke at the American Farm Bureau Federation’s annual convention in Austin, Texas, where he praised the many accomplishments of American farmers.

Bloomberg and DNC friends would love to see Our farmers suffer,…. Dems want our produce markets flooded with imports, infested with non-indigenous insects, rodent excreta, parasites, E coli, and a host of other illnesses !!

Marijuana farmers , aka graduates in gender studies from Cal Berkeley, make up most of the 17 percent of farmers who hate Trump. MAGA deport pot heads.

Can I suggest this is a flow on effect from the record low unemployment rates.
More people have more money and they spend more on food.
Beware of “Free Trade Agreements”. In my reading this phrase is used as a marketing term and are agreements of preferential tariffs between countries.
I ask the question – If one applies reciprocal (that is tit for tat) tariffs, how can that be a trade war?
The other way trade from a country is undermined is regulation. Require imported machines to pass regulatory testing before import is permitted. Then staff the office with 2 people. Locally manufactured machines do have these regulations applied but are run through a different office. An excellent lesson on how to import jobs. And other countries ALLOW the export of jobs.
President Trump will win a 2nd term with a great report card.

Its only going to get better for agriculture when the UK starts importing beef and other foods from the USA currently bared or restricted by EU regulations.

One way the farmers can help if they can stop fresh food reaching Demoncrat functions or areas filled with Demoncrat. Starve Democrat areas, see they do not get fresh produce

The demonrats are in full melt down mode. After three years of constant, 24/7 efforts to destroy Trump, he remains high in the polls. Even the polls that show him a 45% approval frustrate them. They have finally met their match. He runs circles around them and laughs at them while he is doing it. If it were not for skunks like Romney in the Senate, I would rest easier about the outcome of the trial. Ole’ Mittens and a few other are jealous because Trump has done what they could not….stand up to the deep state and WIN!
