The Italian intellectual Marcello Pera has criticized Pope Francis for “openly going against tradition, doctrine, and introducing inexplicable innovations, behaviors and gestures.” Pera opined that the Pope’s agenda in doing this truly insidious: The Pope does it because he hates the West, he aspires to destroy it. … As he aspires to destroy the Christian tradition.” Those who consider this a wild and inconceivable accusation and that it’s absolutely preposterous that the Pope would want to destroy the West and the Christian tradition should ask themselves this question: if the Pope really did want to destroy the West and the Christian tradition, how would he be acting any differently from how he is now?
Pera took issue with the Pope specifically for his repeated demands that Europe welcome any and all Muslim migrants. “Frankly,” said Pera, “I do not get this pope, whatever he says is beyond any rational understanding. It’s evident to all that an indiscriminate welcoming is not possible: there is a critical point that can’t be reached.”
Indeed, but the Pope has never shown any sign of recognizing that. And he has given numerous indications that he really does hate the West and the Christian tradition. He recently used the French epic The Song of Roland to issue yet another mea culpa to Muslims, saying: “A scene from The Song of Roland comes to me as a symbol, when the Christians defeat the Muslims and line them up in front of the baptismal font, with one holding a sword. And the Muslims had to choose between baptism or the sword. That is what we Christians did.”

Was it really? The Song of Roland is actually a work of fiction, a French epic poem loosely based on the Battle of Roncevaux Pass between Muslim invaders and Christian defenders in the year 778. As The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS shows, in the eleventh century, three hundred years after the battle, The Song of Roland appeared, describing the heroism of Charlemagne’s nephew Roland, who is leading the rear guard of Charlemagne’s forces and is caught up in the Muslim ambush. Roland is killed, but Charlemagne vanquishes the Muslims.
It is a story of heroism and courage, but to the Pope, it’s just “Islamophobia.” And that’s no surprise. In September 2017, Pope Francis met in the Vatican with Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, the secretary-general of the Muslim World League (MWL), a group that has been linked to the financing of jihad terror. During the meeting, al-Issa thanked the pope for his “fair positions” on what he called the “false claims that link extremism and violence to Islam.”
Nor was that the first time a Muslim leader has thanked the pope for being so very useful. Ahmed al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Cairo’s al-Azhar, thanked him for his “defense of Islam against the accusation of violence and terrorism.” The Associated Press reported that the pope “embraced the grand imam of Al-Azhar, the prestigious Sunni Muslim center of learning, reopening an important channel for Catholic-Muslim dialogue after a five-year lull and at a time of increased Islamic extremist attacks on Christians.”
Why had there been this “five-year lull”? Because “the Cairo-based Al-Azhar froze talks with the Vatican to protest comments by then-Pope Benedict XVI.” What did Benedict say? Andrea Gagliarducci of the Catholic News Agency explains that after a jihad terrorist murdered 23 Christians in a church in Alexandria 2011, Benedict decried “terrorism” and the “strategy of violence” against Christians, and called for the Christians of the Middle East to be protected.
So Pope Benedict condemned a jihad attack, one that al-Azhar also condemned, and yet al-Azhar suspended dialogue because of the pope’s condemnation. Then Pope Francis wrote to the Grand Imam of al-Azhar affirming his respect for Islam, and the Grand Imam warned him that criticizing Islam was a “red line” that he must not cross. That strongly suggests that the “dialogue” that Pope Francis has now reestablished will not be allowed to discuss the Muslim persecution of Christians that will escalate worldwide, especially since an incidence of that persecution led to the suspension of dialogue in the first place.
Francis, for his part, proclaimed that “authentic Islam and the proper understanding of the Koran reject every form of violence,” doing his bit to ensure that as many Christians as possible would remain ignorant and complacent about the jihad threat that his precious “dialogue” does nothing to mitigate.
And now he has been called out, rightly, for working againt Europe’s Christian heritage and tradition. He is nothing less than a disgrace to the Church, to Judeo-Christian civilization, and to the free world.

Sorry to say this, but Catholicism could never have invented America. Indeed our ancestors were fleeing Catholic persecution. Thankfully they modified their view of the reformation and have coexisted for hundreds of years, but it seems this modification is coming to an end as they are embracing or at least the pope is trying to lead them into affirming a cult of personality institutionalized human rights violating ideology aka Islam. However he seems to think his bread is buttered by the globalist left.

The final act of that ‘modification’ came at the hands of Napoleon’s general and right in accordance to the time line as prophesied by Daniel. Their RCC’s barbaric reign against true believers lasted for 1260 years and ended in 1798.
Their place in unfolding prophecy resumed once again when Mussolini restored the papal lands. Now Francis is leading the final charge, taking the Vatican into her role as the Harlot riding the Scarlet Beast of Rev. and aligning political and business powers into a focused one world entity that will be commandeered by the Antichrist.
Were it not so that the incredible number of prophecies given and all so far having come to pass exactly as foretold, then all of it could be in danger of being dismissed as poppycock. But the fact is they indeed have all fulfilled and no one has any justifiable cause to doubt that the last few will also come to be.

I know you see it too…. Have I got this right? I am fine with errors being pointed out.
Obama did his best to let Iran have a path to nuclear weapons, got a hardliner into Turkey, tried to destablize Egypt and failed and Hillary destabilized Libya. It’s all lining up. Trump is a stumbling block. After Trump, I believe this will firm up more and eventually happen whether it is a GOP rep or a DEM. They are bought and paid for. Trump paid for MOST of his run.

I agree completely, the stage hinges on Israel, but as long as an America, such as is under Trump is in place, then these nations will be kept in-check.
At this point, it looks like a Trump second term is a shoe-in, and ‘their’ desperation to stop that is already feverish. I believe that this election will be a turning point no matter who gets the nod, as the one won’t be tolerated again and the other brings their own box of matches. The ‘stuff’ is already in flight heading towards a November fan.
The only thing I could add to your commentary is that Russia already has a pact with Iran and Turkey, and this latest US/IRAN incident, while showing no real claws of opposition, is all food for further plans. Israel is already beginning to tap into the massive oil and gas field off her coast with plans to supply Europe, and Russia is obviously threatened financially by such a development. When American opposition is out of the way, with a globalist UN, will this cabal claim Israeli possession of this find illegal, and swoop in to take it from her, fulfilling Ezekiel 38:13?
I hope all is as well as it can be with you my friend. Once the pin with the American name tag is pulled, an accelerating slide to the finish line will begin afresh and the dominoes, just like before as you rightly pointed out, will start to fall again. What a time in history to be a witness to. I hope we both make it to see the final stages – they are not far off.

I do believe we are that generation… I hope Trump gets a second term but the opposition is so devious….they make no pretense about not being lawlesss.
I appreciate the addition on Russia. Russia and Iran are supposed to do joint military exercises. Turkey and Russia are supposed to do joint military exercises. It’s all coming together.

An interesting premise for a book would be, no other religion or ideology but Protestant reformation Judeo Christianity could have invented America. In it the author could go down the list of religions and ideologies and eliminate them one by one. This would expose the fatal flaw, the fly in the ointment, if you will, of the progressive democrats that multicultural secular-interfaith-agnostic liberalism best represents the social evolution of society envisioned by the founding fathers. This philosophy of government is a natural extension of Darwin’s theory of evolution, survival of the fittest and turns natural law and rights coming from God into the Constitution is a living breathing document and our rights come from the state. Their “estate” owned and controlled by them. They have become globalist in this view. So yes God knows the future from the past if we only knew it every star is a projector and the Earth his “holodeck,” everyone playing parts fortold in the Bible. Well stated. I have come to believe that although the prophecies (over 1800 between the OT/NT) have all come to pass with uncanny accuracy (only a small ‘end-time’ handful remain), they are not so much statements of future events that have already occurred, in the future, but are more God fulfilling what he said and promised by making it so. I know that may sound like splitting hairs given the nature of God and just how accurately that which was foretold has unfolded but there is enough to suggest that He accomplishes at least some promises either His way or our way (WWII and the reconstitution of Israel as an example). Of course the overriding theme being – it gets done no matter what; God’s word is the only thing that constrains Him.
If you have read any of my other posts (disqus has been censoring me), I have described the formation of the near complete N w-orld odor as a most herculean task involving untold resources of time, money and personnel, all operating under well laid plans in the most clandestine manner man is capable of. This is not just a century old whimsical experiment. It is the real deal, just as the other prophesied ‘last days’ formations also required the right, long brewed conditions to make them possible. All this happening in conjunction, now, is beyond the limitations of mere coincidence and proclaim the final ‘act’ is coming to the stage.

Cardinal Bergoglio has shaken more than one bloody hand on his way up in the church inside and outside of Argentina and his credentials regarding the military dictatorships of Argentina are questionable. However so too is questionable the hierarchy of the Catholic Church in charge of its administration which he was brought in to fix.
Two wrongs don’t come together to make one right.
He also is a peronist on Argentina’s terms, and they used to burn churches, he broke the Church’s agreement with the UK not to delve in the Falklands issue about which the peronists in Argentina invented a lot of fascist brainwashing by Peron trying to copy Mussolini, which they deployed in primary schools where it remains, so I know Francis is not good positive, and I am lost as to what he really is trying to do any where.

The Vatican-Beijing concordat will secure for the Catholic Church an evanescent prestige at the supposed normalization of diplomatic relations and an apparent victory in the regularization of the Church’s hierarchy and sacramental provision on the mainland. This means that the “Chinese Catholic Patriotic Association” will thereby be regularized, even though it supports Communist coercive population regulations and its first and primary loyalty is to the Chinese Communist Party.

I didn’t like the way they got rid of the one before him….and then I realized he is a Marxist…and then I grew to despise him when he washed the feet of Muslims on Easter instead of Christians….He was sent to bring down the Church.

I like it where one young Italian Pope quit, elected another Pope and then France had its own Pope. Then the young Pope claims to be Pope again, such a conflict

Pope Francis has openly called for all nations to surrender their sovereignty and establish a one world government. I feel awfully sorry for anybody fails to understand or to believe that Francis is a communist. The communists managed to place a communist president, Obama in the white house, now they have succeeded in placing a communist pope in the Vatican. the question is, what comes next?
