Iran Terror Supporter Pelosi moves to limit Trump’s actions in Iran with War Powers Resolution vote

Never before have traitors been so brazen. Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani was one of the  world’s worst terror leaders.

Pelosi moves to limit Trump’s actions in Iran with War Powers Resolution vote

Story continues below advertisement

“They’re allowed to kill our people. They’re allowed to torture and maim our people. They’re allowed to use roadside bombs and blow up our people, and we’re not allowed to touch their cultural sites? It doesn’t work that way.”

As far as Pelosi is concerned, we’re not allowed to respond at all.

“Pelosi moves to limit Trump’s actions in Iran with War Powers Resolution vote,” by Ronn Blitzer, Fox News, January 6, 2020:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced overnight that she plans on taking measures to potentially curb President Trump’s ability to conduct military operations against Iran.

Pelosi and other Democrats have been critical of Trump’s decision to conduct an airstrike in Iraq that killed Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ elite Quds Force, claiming he did not properly notify Congress in advance and warning about the risk of escalation in the region. Trump has also threatened additional action if Iran retaliates for Soleimani’s death.

“This week, the House will introduce and vote on a War Powers Resolution to limit the President’s military actions regarding Iran,” Pelosi wrote in a letter to fellow Democrats, referring to a similar Senate resolution to be introduced by Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va. “It reasserts Congress’s long-established oversight responsibilities by mandating that if no further Congressional action is taken, the Administration’s military hostilities with regard to Iran cease within 30 days.”

The first War Powers Resolution was passed in 1973 in an effort to prevent presidents from using the military without congressional approval. Since then, questions of presidential compliance have become common, with controversy stemming from President Bill Clinton’s actions in Kosovo and President Barack Obama’s operations in Libya.

On Saturday, the White House sent Congress formal notification of the drone strike under the War Powers Act, a senior administration official told The Associated Press. The notification, required by law within 48 hours of the introduction of American forces into an armed conflict or a situation that could lead to war, had to be signed and sent to Congress….

Trump had tweeted Saturday that even Iran’s cultural sites were potential targets for U.S. military action. “They’re allowed to kill our people. They’re allowed to torture and maim our people. They’re allowed to use roadside bombs and blow up our people, and we’re not allowed to touch their cultural sites? It doesn’t work that way,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday….

Trump wants out of the Middle East, and this is his opportunity. The letter says on Monday, Jan 6, the US-led military coalition against Islamic State is pulling out of Iraq and will be repositioning forces over the next few days and weeks.

Update: Secretary of Defense Mark Esper said, “There’s been no decision whatsoever to leave Iraq. Period.” – Esper says the letter is a draft only

But this letter is evidence that at least partial withdrawal is being considered.

President Trump is saying that but the PENTAGON Is saying something different.
I hope they are just saying this to avoid announcing a withdraw plan and date.
I don’t trust these other people. I believe Trump has no intention of starting another war and this was a premptive strike and HIS plan is to eventually pull out of the middle east regardless of the establishment war machine.

If Trump is smart enough , he should pass E.O to ban all terror/crime/illegal/drug linked persons from coming to America and those who advocate for them should lose their assets/citizenship and deported/jailed as terror agents.

Most of demonrats will lose their assets , Left/liberal “Professors” can be purged as they support these ideas.

Unless this is done there will be never ending cases . And America will become like canada/EU

Like this Left/Liberal Loons Run Country has been turned into ISIS/jihadi base https://tinyurl.com/y74v5327

They deal with Iran is this, we’ll get rid of Trump any way we can – impeachment, assassination or fraud for the 2020 election. After that the Iran agreement will be back on and we’ll give you money again. DEMS never dreamed Trump would strike their their Muslim terrorist leaders during an ELECTION YEAR or stand firm on his red line. Iran has a problem. Iran can not match U.S. strength militarily.

I’ll stand by the intelligence I saw that was compelling, it was imminent, and it was very very clear in scale and scope. Did it exactly say who, what, when, where? No. But he was planning, coordinating and synchronizing significant combat operations against U.S. military forces in the region and it was imminent.

Esper vigorously defended killing Soleimani:

How do you expect us not to respond after they’ve been killing our people for 20 years? Soleimani alone has the blood of hundreds of Americans. He’s wounded thousands of Americans and coalition partners. … He is a terrorist, a leader of a terrorist organization, he’s been killing and attacking Americans for 20 something years, and the blood is on his hands. He was planning attacks on American forces. He was there on the ground with the leader of Khateeb Hezbollah — met him on the ground at the airplane, welcomed him, so they could further coordinate attacks.
This whole narrative that’s being turned around is silly.

We are open to sitting down with them and discussing issues, that we could have a more normal relationship with that country. We’ve been saying this for quite some time now. I’ve conveyed that to our partners and our allies and I’ve asked them to convey that as well to Iran.

(This is not good…We should be leaving them too! Plan on leaving but don’t announce it.)

There’s been no decision made to leave Iraq, period. There’s no decision to leave, nor did we issue any plans to leave or prepare to leave. We’re committed to the D-ISIS mission in Iraq, alongside our allies and partners.

Emotions can blind you as the DEMS and RINOS constantly show.
The last thing you want to rely on is EMOTIONS!

Extend that criticism to “hate crimes” and “hate punishment”.
Notice how this is applied ONLY when it fits the LIBERAL AGENDA.
People aren’t seeing that it is being used against a conservative agenda and mostly based on identity
politics and carefully selected groups like LGBTQ+. We are destroying our justice system along with the LEFT in going along with EMOTION BASED “hate crimes” and “hate punishment”. We need to start thinking clearly….and unload the emotion.

Iraq’s Parliament calls for expulsion of US troops from the country following drone attack
By Stephen Sorace | Fox News 1/5/20

The MSM forgot to mention….It is NONBINDING and up to the PM if we are seriously asked to with draw.
I doubt their PM wants to be controlled by Iran as the Shiites would like. In other words the resolution is meaningless. Trump will leave when he is good and ready to leave with the support of the Iraqi people and most likely the Iraq PM. Once again it is Muslim sect against Muslim sect.
….
The majority of about 180 legislators present in Parliament voted in favor of the resolution. It was backed by most Shiite members of parliament, who hold a majority of seats. Many Sunni and Kurdish legislators did not show up for the session, apparently because they oppose abolishing the deal.

But the Iraqi Parliament vote doesn’t mean that the U.S. military has to leave the country immediately. It’s a non-binding vote, which is seen as mostly symbolic. The 5,000 U.S. troops are in Iraq at the invitation of the country’s executive branch, the Prime Minister’s office — not Parliament. It is up to the Iraqi Prime Minister whether the troops will be expelled.

The vote came two days after a U.S. drone strike killed Soleimani at the Baghdad airport, ratcheting up tensions in the region and raising fears of war.

I agree. You have to stand UP to billies rather than BOW DOWN as Obama would do but when the time is right, we need to leave. They need to protect their own country. I hate to think about what that EIGHT TRILLION could have done for OUR country as our infrastructure crumbles and we are being invaded… We need to rebuild our own nation. How many U.S. lives were taken and maimed there and over what? Muslims who by “religion” hate us and only USE us for our money, endless aid and protect them from other Muslim sects dominating them. Let the Muslim sects destroy each other. We got nothing out of it. There will NEVER be long lasting peace in the middle east. Never.

May be the US and the other shortsighted colonialistic countries have paid for what they did to the colonies or to countries like Philippines, Indochina, ME, Africa…

Now it is a must to leave these countries to let them handle their problems by themselves – independence and democracy cannot be ordered but has to be learnt in long time processes.
Who does know that better than the so called civilized 1st world countries?

It is very true and very necessary that we must protect our countries and lifes in the most effective way.
To avoid future conflicts we may assist the other non democratic countries from outside on the burdensome way to become real democracies, respecting human rights.

But we have no right to keep them dependent on us.
