Rep. Ilhan Omar has publicly declared her support for a notorious organization known for its terrorist leadership and financing of terrorism. but uses phrases against America, Israel and Jewish people that resemble the lurid language used by Islamic jihadists in al Qaeda and al-Shabaab.
During her tenure with the Minneapolis City Council from 2013-15, Omar acknowledged that she was a friend of several young men who had joined al-Shabab, a Somali jihadist terror group allied with al-Qaeda.

“Peacekeeping forces”?
Mrs. Omar has publicly called for the protection of Hormuud. Yet Hormuud Telecom has been mentioned as a sponsor of terrorism, not once, not twice, but many, many times.
The United Nations Security Council’s Report of the Secretary-General on the situation in Somalia, dated 20 July 2009, contained the following paragraphs involving the activities of Ahmed Nur Ali Jimale, his company Hormuud and his direct support for al-Shabaab, a jihadist militant Islamic terrorist group in Somalia (pages 10-11):
“Ali Ahmed Nur Jim’ale (Jim’ale) has served in leadership roles with the former Somali Council of Islamic Courts, also known as the Somali Islamic Courts Union, which was a radical-Islamist element. The most radical elements of the Somali Islamic Courts Union eventually formed the group known as al-Shabaab.
Al-Shabaab was listed for targeted sanctions in April 2010 by the United Nations Security Council committee established pursuant to resolutions 751 (1992) and 1907 concerning Somalia and Eritrea (the “Somalia/Eritrea Sanctions Committee”).
“According to the July 18, 2011 report of the Somalia/Eritrea Sanctions Committee’s Monitoring Group (S/2011/433), Jim’ale is identified as a prominent businessman and figure in the al-Shabaab charcoal-sugar trading cycle and benefitting from privileged relationships with al-Shabaab.”
“Jim’ale is identified as one of al-Shabaab’s chief financiers and is ideologically aligned with al-Shabaab.”

GUNMEN frogmarched nine Christians off a bus in Kenya and shot them because they refused to recite the Islamic Shahada, the statement of faith prayed by Muslims.

Members of al-Shabaab, a Somalia-based terrorist group, are believed to have been behind the attack which saw Christians passengers separated from their Muslim counterparts before being murdered. The militants pounced on a vehicle run by Medina Bus Company on December 6 as it travelled from Nairobi to the city of Mandera, close to the Somalia-Kenya border. The jihadists brought the coach to a stop near Kotulo area in Wajir County before boarding it, reports International Christian Concern.
Eleven Christians were targeted, nine of whom have been confirmed dead while the other two are unaccounted for.
The slain passengers who were shot at close range are not thought to have been from the local area.
Mayor of Mandera, Ali Roba, said in a statement: “I am deeply saddened to learn of the heinous bus attack near Kotulo, Wajir today around 5pm where 10 passengers were killed or are missing.
“I am informed that the suspected al-Shabaab fighters cowardly segregated non-locals heading to Mandera from Nairobi.
Al-Shabaab terrorists are believed to be responsible for the murder of nine Christians
“It is extremely sad and humanly disturbing to learn that, yet again, they segregated locals from non-locals before killing those they believed to be non-locals.”
A Kenyan police officer told ICC the attack happened 5km south of Kotulo, in an area called Maadathe.
ICC said the two missing passengers are presumed dead.
Gunmen shot nine Christians at close range, while two others remain missingThe latest tragedy echoes a similar attack on two Kenyan men last year who were killed by gunmen for failing to say Islamic prayers.
And in 2014, 28 teachers travelling to Nairobi for the Christmas holidays were killed after being forced to recite the Islamic statement of faith.
Last month al-Shabaab militants launched an attack on constructions workers in Mandera.
Gunmen ambushed a van carrying eight workmen as it travelled along the road linking Kotulo and Elwak-Kotulo.
All eight passengers escaped without injury.

Nathan Johnson, ICC’s regional manager for Africa, said Christians in Kenya are being singled out by jihadis at an alarming rate.
He said: “We pray for the families of the deceased and for peace to come to a region that has seen increased violence toward Christians who are just trying to survive.

Too many “churchians” expect to be raptured before things get rough. How many will recant their beliefs when things don’t work out like they think? Richard Wurmbrand was tortured in Romania for 14 years and never did, but he felt faith in America was too easy. How many will take the mark rather than stop playing?

Those that truly have faith have nothing to worry about whether they are pre, mid or post tribulation.I personally don’t see that as a major issue…. It is an interpretation issue… I do not link it to salvation. Some may. Personally speaking I am partial to pretrib.

Yes, Felix, God does not lie but he is often misinterpreted and there is no basis for this tribulation in the writings of the Fathers of the Church or in Catholic Doctrine. As for Luther may his soul roast in hell. Are you aware the Ottomans provided money and assistance to the Reformation? This Is not the appropriate forum to debate the issues you mention;however, no Catholic believes the Pope Is infallible except on matters of faith. Pius XII did more to protect the Jews than any other religious leaders and saved hundreds of thousands. Tens of thousands of the faithful hid and protected Jews from the Nazis. As for Francis, he is he result of a coup organized by the Jesuits who have strange belief they can coexist with the Muslims and even convert them

Just to be clear, “there is no basis for this tribulation”, are you referring to the ‘tribulation’ that is detailed in Revelations. Is it this that there are no Church writings or Catholic doctrine on? Are you saying that this has been misinterpreted?

Felix, you have just made my argument. As for the Ottoman support and assistance to the Reformation that fact is as close to historical certainly as possible. While the Catholic and Orthodox nations battled the Muslims the “reformers” were their allies. Where were the “protestant” kings at the battles of Malta,Lepanto,Vienna, and so many more? If the UK and the secularists of France had not attacked Alexander II’s armies in the Crimea, Constantinople would be Christian today and much more.

Yet you brought it up – in this forum. Were you hoping to do a drive-by smearing and get away with it?. I should have also asked you if you yourself had read any of the scriptures that reference the “tribulation” and if so, what was your opinion on them.
From your comments, I gather that you ascribe to the Catholic faith and I wonder, if you had read Revelations, was it the near impossible to ignore association of the coming “beast system” knitted with the RCC that causes you to reject the atrocities described and attributed to the one world religion that the Vatican, not just Francis, is so passionately pursuing. It is not an easy thing to acknowledge that those whom you aligned with may potentially be knowing or even unknowing servants of the Antichrist. Perhaps that may also explain the absence of ‘Church writings or doctrine’ on the matter as well.
As a Catholic, you do not dispute the authority of scripture, yet you may be willingly allowing the doctrine of men to obscure your understanding of Christ and thereby creating an image of God that does not align with the true God of the Bible. Look at how the Christian based faiths, not just Catholicism but including it as well, are ‘interpreting’ the faith to fit secular humanism. Shepherds have a responsibility to the flock but the individual is responsible to himself. Even you acknowledge that this Pope is not a true representative of the faith yet you define him as being infallible on matters of faith – what do you do with such a dilemma? You cannot risk so much on what someone else has said no matter what title follows their name.

The Pope is only infallible when he speaks ex cathedra from the Throne of Peter and only on matters of faith. The Pope’s only power is to excommunicate those found to be in serious violation of Church doctrine. Several Popes’ over the centuries have used this power to excommunicate rabid anti semites and those engaged in the slave trade.

I suspect that Omar will claim that “Some people did something”, but if a Muslim is insulted, just watch her spring into action with fiery indignation.
Why is she still in the US? She lied about her name and where she was from, along with lying about who her parents were when she immigrated. She lied and married her brother to illegally get him in the country. Election funding fraud. Public funds to her boyfriend. She only became religious in the past few years; just look at her mug shot for DUI, and all her affairs which is not how a good Muslim behaves. Back home she would be stoned to death for her behaviour.
Apparently she is receiving funding from the Middle East. Even if she isn’t deported, she should be recalled for taking that funding as she represents foreign interests rather than US interests.
