This impeachment is nothing short of making accusations and expecting you to prove your innocence. Shouldn’t it be first determining if a law was broken, if a crime actually took place, proving the crime with actual evidence and not speculation or theory, and then present the evidence IN FULL and with full disclosure to a jury.

The prime accuser, the so-called whistle-blower, has to be put up as a witness and be available for cross-examination.

I don’t think that this is illegal at all. Baseless, stupid, and waste of time but not illegal. The House can basically impeach for anything they like as “high crimes and misdemeanors” is not specifically defined.

That being said, these idiots are shooting themselves in the foot. Those Democrats in areas where Trump won, are going to get a beating in 2020. As such, it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if they couldn’t get Impeachment passed in the House. Even if they do, there is zero chance that the Republican Senate will convict based upon “Orange man bad” which is really all the Democrats have right now.
