A Fancy Farmhouse Christmas – by Deb Felts
Good Thursday morning already. I never cease to be amazed at how these days and weeks just evaporate before my eyes!
Deb is with us today and she has the unique ability to take a sheet or two of designer paper and work absolute magic with them. I have had a true love affair with beautiful designer paper since day 1 of my stamping adventure, which dates way, way back, so I absolutely LOVE seeing how Deb can transform a single sheet into pure magic.
Now what says ‘Farmhouse Christmas’ better than this – WOW!!!
Deb took a tried and true layout and worked it up into pure vintage/country elegance.
And it all began with the paper – Christmas in the Country by Prima.
I love how the barn scene is floating atop a sheet of woodgrain – perfect here!
‘Farmhouse Christmas’ and the tag are stamped using our Farmhouse Christmas stamp set.
Deb ran with her signature bow cluster, using a button this time rather than a flower. The bow is 100% silk ribbon and the addition of the tulle and burlap string compliment it so beautifully, tying in elegance with country.
The leafy sprigs are die cut using our Floral Cluster and Sprigs die set.
Deb added a bit of snow to the sprigs and splattered gesso for an overall snowy look.
The card inside uses a sentiment and tree all from the same set – Farmhouse Christmas.
Can you imagine the pure delight this card will bring to whoever the lucky recipient might be!
