More arrests: Police probing released terrorists after London Bridge stabbings arrest jihadi on suspicion of preparing ANOTHER attack

Prisons are hotbeds of jihad recruitment. “Deradicalization” programs omit Islam. They are proven failures. So of course, more people are going to die. It’s not rocket science.

Police probing released terrorists after London Bridge stabbings arrest man, 34, on suspicion of preparing ANOTHER attack

  • A search was conducted last night in connection to existing licence conditions
  • A 34-year-old was arrested on suspicion of terrorist acts at his home address
  • No information to suggest the arrested man was involved in London Bridge
  • An urgent review of terrorists released from prison was launched by the MOJ

Police have arrested a man in Stoke-on-Trent on suspicion of preparing a terrorism attack.

The force said a 34-year-old was arrested after a search of his home address.

West Midlands Police said the search warrant was executed in connection to ‘a wider on-going review of existing licence conditions of convicted terrorism offenders.’

West Midlands Police, pictured HQ, said a 34-year-old was arrested after a search of his home address

Forensic officers attended to a property in Stoke-on-Trent today. It is not clear if this was related to the arrest of the 34-year-old male

The man, who has not been named, was arrested on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts contrary to Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: ‘There is no information to suggest that the arrested man was involved in the incident at London Bridge on Friday.

‘There was no immediate risk to public safety.’

It comes after Usman Khan, 28, went on a deadly knife frenzy in London on Friday, killing two people and injuring three others.

An urgent review of terrorists released from prison was launched by the Ministry of Justice following the attack on Friday.

Armed with two knives and wearing a fake suicide vest, Khan was tackled by members of the public, including ex-offenders from the conference, before he was shot dead by police on London Bridge.

Khan (circled) was confronted by several heroic members of the public, including one who used a Narwhal tusk to try and restrain him

The 28-year-old was part of an al Qaeda-inspired terror group and was convicted of terror offences in February 2012.

Khan, who had been based in Stoke-on-Trent, was handed an indeterminate sentence for public protection, with a minimum term of eight years – meaning he could have been kept in prison for as long he was deemed to be a threat to the public.

The sentence was quashed at the Court of Appeal in April 2013 and he was given a determinate 16-year jail term, with a five-year extended licence period, under legislation which meant he was released automatically halfway through the sentence.

Sentencing law changed later in 2012, and if Khan was given the same sentence today he would have had to serve at least two-thirds of it.

The incident at London Bridge has raised questions about the policy of releasing convicted terrorists on licence.

Several lessons are emerging from this avoidable tragic incident, one being the utter folly of letting a socialist or liberal near the levers of power or justice where muslim terrorists are concerned because under comrade Blair, a release from sentence at half term with no referral to a parole board first as to suitability { in this case } was made law.

Another sad observation is the fact that two bright young people had their humanity and compassion for ex cons like Khan betrayed because he loved his religion more than he respected their concern for his welfare.

What has also been regrettable is the father of the young male victim attacking Boris Johnson’s “vile propaganda” when he, Johnson, urged full sentences for terrorist offences be served behind bars.

The father has had nothing critical to say sofar about those who murdered his son according to their religious mandate to do just that. This last point seems to be important because with some people, no matter how brutally an offspring dies in London, if an ethnic minority figure is involved bent upon his own personal jihad as here, it must be the fault of a conservative white male not showing presumably enough compassion for the one wielding the knife.

When human nature to perform a criminal act of murder is a religious imperative in a muslim, it ought to be a signal to some that something is seriously wrong in a society, and that that should be a subject for discussion, but that’s unlikely nowadays.

Instead the police are now tearing around the country looking for those convicted of terrorism offences and out on parole in order to throw them back inside where too many belong, the rest, 3000 of them are being watched more closely {conditions permitting}.

The quick-witted – and most courageous – man who grabbed the narwhal tusk from the wall is a Polish kitchen worker, Lukasz, at Fishmongers’ Hall. He used it to accost and defeat the knife-wielding muslim jihad terrorist, enabling others to move away, and receiving a number of wounds while doing so. Still courageous and public-spirited, though wounded, he pursued the killer on to the street and shouted to people to keep away.
The post code for Fishmongers’ Hall is EC4R 9EL.
Please feel free to send him congratulations and good wishes for his recovery.
The equally quick-witted and courageous man who grabbed the fire extinguisher is (if memory serves) John, a participant in the conference. Surely Fishmongers’ Hall would forward mail.

gee, we arrested these men for terrorist activities and killing people. Then we ‘de-radicalized” them with a wonderful new program some idiot in a think tank came up with. We are sooooo nice that we let them go and how do they thank us? It is all they think about, night and day, every waking moment is dedicated to killing infidels!!! Kind of like the scorpion and the frog.
