Nikki Haley reveals Tillerson, Kelly privately discussed resisting Trump: ‘It was offensive’
Former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley blasted former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, recalling a private conversation where they defended resisting President Trump, telling her they did so out of necessity.

“[I]nstead of saying that to me, they should’ve been saying that to the president, not asking me to join them on their sidebar plan,” Haley said.
Haley said that the two men “confided in me that when they resisted the president, they weren’t being insubordinate, they were trying to save the country” and how “Tillerson went on to tell me the reason he resisted the president’s decisions was because, if he didn’t, people would die….”
Haley, however, was not impressed.
“It should’ve been, ‘Go tell the president what your differences are, and quit if you don’t like what he’s doing,’” Haley told O’Donnell. “But to undermine a president is really a very dangerous thing. And it goes against the Constitution, and it goes against what the American people want. And it was offensive.”
CBS asked both former officials for a response, to which Kelly replied, “If by resistance and stalling she means putting a staff process in place … to ensure the (president) knew all the pros and cons of what policy decision he might be contemplating so he could make an informed decision, then guilty as charged.”

Haley also defended President Trump when it comes to the ongoing impeachment inquiry over suspicion that Trump tried to pressure Ukraine into investigating political rivals by withholding aid.
“You’re gonna impeach a president for asking for a favor that didn’t happen and giving money and it wasn’t withheld? I don’t know what you would impeach him on,” Haley said. She later added, “The Ukrainians never did the investigation. And the president released the funds. I mean, when you look at those, there’s just nothing impeachable there.”

Part of the reason, been no burn offs thanks to the Greens that has escullated the problem to deadly. Even the city of Sydney and all the way up the East Coast a fire harzard and now Queensland now joins. Burn offs help keep down the tall grass and ignored.

In our area and I would assume it is probably Queensland wide you are not allowed to hazard reduction burn even if it is cold and wet in Winter unless you have three people present and either a front end loader or a bulldozer on site. Conditions that people on small holdings, or bush blocks if you will, can rarely organise. And so the fuel load builds up as it is on my place at the moment and to make it worse I have a known firebug living two properties down the road. I am checking constantly for smoke coming from his direction. He has lit the place up twice in the last decade but never been charged.

Thanks mate. I have a zone around the house itself that has the ability to be saturated via an extensive sprinkler system from my dam and I keep that area clear of fuel but the rest of the 100 acres is like a tinderbox at the moment.

Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci made claims that ‘several’ Cabinet Members would be willing to use The 25th Amendment (Allows the vice president and a majority of Cabinet officials to declare the president “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”). Off the subject but very much in keeping with your remark about Trump’s blunt truth…eons ago, I was in a car pool with 4 others, one of whom was a New Yorker from Queens and a doppelganger for Danny DeVito. A woman driver ahead hesitated a moment at a stop sign. Our New Yorker drove that day. Impatiently, he stuck his head out the window and yelled, “Hey lady, what are you waiting for…. your favorite color?!” BTW, I believe Trump is from Queens too. Gotta love him!

I, too, find Trump refreshing. For the sake of brevity, I had left out a key part of the anecdote. All 5 of us were students at the University of Hawaii (in the early 60’s), and all of us were Honolulu natives except for the guy from Queens. None of us had ever traveled to NY and this was our first association with a New Yorker!

I think you are on to something! Years ago, I went to a National Physics Conference held in New Orleans. I asked my spouse, “does the local culture…..food and people resemble….(before I could finish the question), I got a resounding, “Hawaii.”

She also looks very unhealthy. Look how thin and gaunt she is. She resigned saying she wanted to spend more time with her family. Instead of moving back to South Carolina, after she resigned from the U.N. job, after only a year, (2017-2018) she continued to stay there with her family, in NYC where she has access to better medical care. Certain hospitals are better up there…. If she has a medical problem, she will get very good treatment there. This book could be her way of clearing the air. Regardless I would NOT want her for President if I am wrong.
She has not always been a fan of Trump and really trashed Trump at Obama’s last SOTU instead of Obama. The back stabbers probably do believe they are being “patriotic”. They aren’t. People often get into a rut and keep trying the same solutions that don’t work because that is what they are comfortable with and used to. New approaches to an age old problem unnerve them.
In Haley’s book, With All Due Respect, the Post says:

In the grand scheme of things, the move of U.N. Secretary Nikki Haley to resign is a typical move of a professional politician on the establishment side of the GOPe political continuum.
Ms. Haley comes from the political house of Bush; hence the original Rubio support in 2016 etc. She is a political animal from the establishment wing.
Within the traditional political class the customary approach to a White House run is to gain about five years of wealth in advance of a presidential run. Haley would be following a wealth process for a 2024 presidential run.
During this wealth accumulation period the cocktail party circuit (the billionaire crowd) will front-load wealth, purchase homes and all expenses etc, for the future candidate. This ‘Five Year Plan‘ was the same historic approach done for Ronald Reagan.
(If she is not ill, this explains her making NY her permanent residence. Others are FLEEING NY!)
With a candidate in the private sector, the professional donor-class make investments in the candidate while it is legal to do so. The investments are made in anticipation of future influence. This is simply how money influences politics.
(She has no wealth on her own. She NEEDS the money of others.)
With the “Me Too” movement in high political value, the currency of Nikki Haley, as an investment candidate, is at the apex. Haley checks the right boxes; she is making a predictable move to capitalize on that process, politics and timeliness.
The U.N., as an institution, is also in alignment with the high-brow Prescott Bush clan. Ms. Nikki Haley is regarded by this clan as a very valuable commodity. If they can’t get Jeb, or another Bush (ie. Rubio) over the finish line, they will be much better positioned with investments in Nikki Haley.
It goes without saying the U.N. is not MAGA. In many ways the interests of the U.N. run counter to the more nationalistic MAGA movement. Hence, it was smart for President Trump to put a non-MAGA ambassador into the U.N. while simultaneously, and smartly, using the position to keep the globalists from attacking MAGA policy.
It was a strategic move when it was done and the benefits have been visible.
Moving forward, despite the success of President Trump in taking over the Republican party, the political apparatus still has factions (ie. Never Trump etc.). Those GOPe types will back Nikki Haley in 2024 as they did Jeb in 2016. The outlooks are same/same. This is all entirely predictable.
Due to the increasing success of the MAGA or Trump Republican apparatus, Haley will need to carefully position herself as a stealth Decepticon and not upset the vulgarian hordes; ie. the new republican party base voter. As a smart and tactical politician Haley will invest heavily in the optics of supporting the MAGA movement; and embrace President Trump to avoid any conflict.
Much like the primary of 2016 (w/ Jeb), the primary race of 2024 will determine if Haley can con enough people into not seeing her elitist Decepticon position.
The Bush clan and professional political cocktail circuit was rebuked in 2016, so we can anticipate their strategy in 2024 will be with those strategic lessons at the forefront.

She was our governor. When Hurricane Matthew came threw, she blocked some FEMA aide to the residents saying that the year before, there had been a lot of fraud when so much of the lowlands had flooded. If she knew about so much fraud, why didn’t they stop it or get it back rather than keeping it from people who might have really needed it with Matthew?
Also, she called for forced evacuation days in advance of the storm. That’s fine for those who can afford it, but not for those who can’t. There were the storms going on in TX, too, so we couldn’t go back to family like we had the previous year.

In 2016, I had heard from several sources that the Republican elite had maneuvered the intended primary outcome with a prior selection of three candidates. The debate stage was expected to be so much Kabuki Theatre to throw off the American audience. Of course, they didn’t expect Trump to get in their way. I recall Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio as two of the three, but the third escapes me. Word out was that the Bush family held enough power to ensure that the personal agenda of the American Aristocracy would be preserved as long as one of the three finalists won the election. I liked her when she was our Ambassador, and I like her even more now. Though I very much support the right to disagree about anything and everything, as that is what I would do, no matter what the circumstances were, to accept so important positions as these men were involved in, and to then secretly attempt to undermine their boss, is repulsive to me. You have every right to differ, but the buck stops with the guy who must take responsibility for the decision, and if Haley is right, these guys are despicable.

If what you state is true, I don’t want her as president either. She has stated some things that raised some red flags in my mind… that was before becoming the UN ambassador. Then again almost all of the Republican presidential candidates for the 2016 raised red flags in my mind and I’m glad none of those became president. So, yes… I’m doubtful that I’d vote for her if she ran.

Apparently within her new book, the former South Carolina republican – who removed historic monuments and then moved her permanent residence to New York, has outlined Rex Tillerson and John Kelly as stealth insiders working to undermine President Trump and attempting to bring Haley into their clique.

As a smart and tactical politician Haley will invest heavily in the optics of supporting the MAGA movement; and embrace President Trump to avoid any conflict.
Nikki Haley relies on people with short memories. She is a liar, a manipulator, and a purely political animal. She wants to be president. She will manipulate anyone and everyone in the process in order to achieve her career goals.
Remember in January 2016 when Nikki Haley gave the State of the Union rebuttal so she could attack the outside candidacy of Donald Trump? A month later she endorsed Marco Rubio for president. Or maybe you remember in June 2016 when Nikki Haley blamed Trump supporters for causing violence in San Jose?
Nikki Haley has one priority, Nikki Haley. Everything else is a transaction.

She claimed South Carolina as her home in order to advance her political career. Haley would never have become Governor without the endorsement of Sarah Palin and the help of the Tea Party; months later Haley openly rebuked, dismissed and disparaged Ms. Palin.
Haley enamored herself with the uniparty political ruling class, and after the politically correct and opportunistic response to the Emmanuel Church shooting, including the removal of all confederate flags, civil war monuments and historic South Carolina history….. she bailed out of South Carolina permanently and moved to New York.
Haley is for Haley, and she will do anything, sell-out anyone, and hitch her wagon to any helpful enterprise (ie. MAGA) to attain her political ambitions. In 2016 she thought Marco Rubio was her best play; then she moved to join the Trump administration. Now she has her eyes on the oval office.

When I saw her picture I had pity on her. She doesn’t look like she is in good health but maybe she is.
If she is in good health, I sure don’t want her as MY President. She padded her resume with “foreign policy” working at the U.N. and snoozing with the money people in NY. She has her eyes on 2024 if she is in good health. Her book tour will create more awareness of her and appear to be a patriot.

Haley wouldn’t appear with Trump when he campaigned as the Republican nominee in 2016. She was then asked to serve as the U.N. Ambassador, as which she did a great job. She has proven that she can lead and that she has principles she lives by, She should be the first woman President, she has my vote if she ever runs.

As I am getting ready for a family meal for Memorial Day I will send you a partial copy of something I posted above……
I don’t know if Haley’s recent reveal is for “integrity” or a ploy to raise her profile…..I don’t like her background….she was born in USA to East Indian parents…was then taken to India for her childhood, then moved to Canada by her academic Father teaching there.
Academia equates to Communism in my mind…. especially of late.
She may have been “American Born”…but not “American made,” if you get my point.
When she interfered in our history -taking down the Confederate Flag- that told me she is predisposed to to go along with those who knock over statues of our country’s history….like it or not…it is our history.
We learn from history of what to do in the future and what not to do in the future.
Many of the soldiers who fought for the South believed they were fighting for STATES RIGHTS….and against the overreach of the Feds on states….they gave their life for that Constitutional truth.
It was very unfortunate that the States Rights were fought over slavery….which slavery itself is a violation of the Constitution….and God’s law.
Haley may have been born on American soil, but she was reared in India and Canada….by an Academic….In my mind, she is not truly American.
And I am fed up with the push for a woman President…..why? So far I have not seen one woman in politics who could shoulder that burden…..they haven’t made any more “Margaret Thatchers” lately.
And if May and Merkel (the twisted sisters) are an example of a woman in charge of countries…..then no thank you.
Neither one of these women have ever had children…..I don’t trust women or men who haven’t had children….there is not a protective bone in their body when it comes to leading a nation.

As for the Flag, she got and took bad advice. We all know that the flag is not the flag of the confederacy, it is simply a battle flag used by a unit so the men knew where they were supposed to go to rejoin their unit on the battlefield. I don’t believe there was anything illegal or improper about President Trump asking the Ukrainians to investigate corruption in a Ukraine company that had put useless Hunter Biden on the Board for the clear purpose of access to former VP Joe Biden. They were investigating Burisma until VP Joe Biden actually did threaten to pull US aid from them that very day if they did not fire their very honorable prosecutor, which they did. Democrats don’t want to talk about that connection to several prominent American political figures. If I am wrong someone can let me know.
Haley was also a never Trumper. I believe she is considering a run for POTUS soon. What a war mongering disaster she would be.

I wondered which part of the 2nd paragraph you thought was incorrect. She was definitely a never Trumper. She is an ultra Zionist recipient of help from billionaire Sheldon Adelson. FYI; I am not against Israel or Jews at all. I don’t want us spending our military and treasure warring against nations like Syria for the sake of Israel conquering land that is part of that promised to them by God. I believe they will get that after the return of Jesus. They are even calling this project Greater Israel. Syria did nothing to us. Haley flat out lied about Syria to the UN. Syria did not use chemical weapons against their people, and Haley knew it. And yes, I think she is planning a run for POTUS soon.

With both Tillerson and Kelly I very quickly ‘smelt a rat’ that these two men were not the right people for their jobs. Niki Haley is right, if they had differences with Trump’s approach they should have discussed those differences directly with him, but they didn’t possess the ‘guts’, the moral fibre, to state their case, so conducted themselves deceitfully and in fact treacherously to undermine him. Look at them, two overly comfortable scumbags, men of low moral fibre. No wonder the GOP is in a mess!

Nikki Haley was a Never Trumper in the last election…..she was backing Marco Rubio along with Gowdy….however, once she worked for President Trump at the UN she did a fine job.
I suspect that what Tillerson and Kelly did is the reason she left the administration….she didn’t want any part of the coups against President Trump. She is at least a woman of honor…..Tillerson was always an “oil globalist”….never understood that appointment unless it was a recommendation from someone he trusted.
Kelly is a different story….for God’s sake…he is a retired General! I’ve been a Marine wife….that he would do that to President Trump makes me doubt anything about his alleged military record. President Trump is his Commander in Chief….makes me wonder what other alleged service heroes are in on this coup.
Kelly proves that the Military Industrial Complex does exist and is very active in our politics…where they aren’t suppose to be.

I thought of that too…that she was making it up….but we’ve not heard a denial from Tillerson or Kelly. And, given that both were fired by President Trump, there had to be a reason.

Americans are so full of SUSPICION because of the evil that has happened in our country, but don’t you think there are just SOME PEOPLE who still have integrity after seeing first-hand the good things Trump has done so far? Nikki Haley, I believe, is full of integrity and she proved it by what she said “It was offensive’.
People like Haley have true integrity. For instance, I was a Glenn Beck fan for so long UNTIL he became a NEVER-TRUMPER and then I stopped listening to him. Then in 2017-2018, Beck apologized saying that Trump was not what he thought he was. THAT IS INTEGRITY, being true to the TRUTH, facing the truth. I don’t ‘follow’ Beck anymore, but I do not discount him either because NOW I KNOW, he will tell me the truth when he finds out the truth. Most people without integrity will stick to their negativity/lies even when they see the truth.
