Nolte: Far-left Snopes Confirms Dems Tried to Impeach Every Elected GOP President Since Eisenhower
The fake, far-left fact check site Snopes accidentally confirmed that Democrats have sought to impeach every elected Republican president since Dwight D. Eisenhower.

The claim is: “Have Democrats Tried to Impeach Every GOP President Since Ike?”
Snopes decided to fact check this claim based on a popular meme that shows a black and white photo of Gen. Eisenhower above a caption that reads “INTERESTING FACT!!! Did you know Democrats have tried to impeach every Republican President since Eisenhower???”
Looking to debunk this mostly true claim, Snopes accidentally confirms that Democrats have indeed tried to impeach every elected Republican president since Eisenhower [emphasis mine]:
The U.S. has had six republican presidents since Eisenhower left office in 1961: Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump. The claim is wrong on its face because Democrats made no effort to impeach Ford. While a handful of Democratic lawmakers have introduced articles of impeachment against five of the last six Republican presidents, in most cases these efforts weren’t taken seriously by the party at large. Nixon and Trump have been the only Republican presidents since Ike who have faced a serious threat of impeachment.
So, Snopes has indeed confirmed that Democrats have “introduced articles of impeachment against five of the last six Republican presidents,” the sole exception being Gerald Ford, who was not elected.
Ford was not even elected to the vice presidency; he was appointed by Nixon after his original vice president, Spiro Agnew, resigned in disgrace over a matter that had nothing to do with Watergate.
What’s more, Ford was president for only a little more than two years.
But there you have it — confirmation from a left-wing fact check site that Democrats sought to impeach five of the last six Republican presidents and sought to impeach every Republican elected to the presidency since Eisenhower.
Granted, the meme that claims Democrats tried to impeach every president since Ike is not 100 percent accurate. But after Snopes confirmed the meme was 5/6th correct, why is a mostly accurate claim hit with a verdict of “mostly false”?
I think we all know the answer to that one…
Because it is a damning fact that proves just how anti-democratic the Democrats are, what a bunch of sore losers they are, and Snopes is not a real fact-checking site, it is a Palace Guard for the political left.
So Snopes splits hairs between what it describes as “serious” impeachment efforts and efforts that never went beyond a lawmaker introducing articles of impeachment.

This is what the GOP is trying to do with Team Obama, trying to figure out a way to give them all a pass on their sedition, civil anarchy, treason and constant impeachment harassment of Trump. One can just hear them now: but we don’t want to put the country through a divisive trial of the first black Muslim president especially since he’s begging to be made a public spectacle so he can play his racist Muslim card and cause even more trouble than he did in the eight years of his sociopathic mentally ill presidency i.e. boys using girls facilities insanity and caliphate building…

I remember Ford running against Carter. Remember the televised debates also. Think you got your facts wrong. If Ford didn’t run, who did Carter beat?

Another point about Pres Ford: He was appointed VP by Nixon after the resignation of VP Agnew. Ford then had to be approved by the Senate, which they did. Upon Nixon’s resignation, VP Ford became president who then appointed Nelson Rockefeller as his VP. Rockefeller was also confirmed by the Senate. Congress would have look pretty damned silly if they had tried impeaching Ford and/or Rockefeller because they were people who put them in the Executive offices.

on 11/23/63, when HW went “superstar” over at foggy bottoms. Nixon was in Dallas on 11/22/63, watching. HW RAN foggy bottoms when Ford was appointed President.

Now Jeff Sessions wants to be a Republican U.S. Senator again.
Sessions spent decades feeding at the public trough and when it was his time to be a leader, for our future, for our country, he folded and failed historically.
I hope Sessions does take steps toward a Senate candidacy — and comes face-to-face with Trump.

More than any other single person, and equally with the ignominious failure Paul Ryan, Sessions cost Trump the unimpeachable success of his first term that can never be reclaimed.
Now we’re supposed to believe that Sessions is a fighter and an ally worthy of Trump and the United States of America because he claims to be otherwise would be “dishonorable”?!!!

After five years I chose to just leave my old job and it changed my way of living… I proceeded working at a special job over the net, for an establishment I found on-line, for several hours regularly, and I generate much more than I did on my old occupation… Previous check I got was 9000 bucks… Awesome point about this is that I get additional time for my family. They did it because they are stupid. Snopes are just ordinary Democrats, with no particular expertise in logic or reasoning errors. And they tried to exonerate the Dems by picking at details. And that itself is a common reasoning error.

Interesting! I’ve said more than once that President Trump shouldn’t take the treatment he’s receiving from the Democrats personally. This impeachment is different however, in that it has extended to involve CIA, FBI, national security interests, and that has made it a coup. The military has also been involved, with Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman testifying in the impeachment inquiry.
It doesn’t appear there is ever going to be any accountability, which indicates the state of intimidation in the US government in the judicial branch and the DOJ with a two tiered judicial system.
