We are constantly told in the West that Sharia is entirely benign, and that only racist, bigoted “Islamophobes” think otherwise. Anyone with an ounce of sense in his or her head could look at the Islamic Republic of Iran, or Saudi Arabia, or Pakistan, or Sudan, or any other Sharia state and see that is not true, but very few people have sense in their heads these days, and so for those who still aren’t convinced, a recent event in India is illustrative.
Last week in India, the president of the Hindu Samaj Party, Kamlesh Tiwarim was brutally murdered. India Today reported last Saturday that “a lesser-known outfit called the Al-Hind Brigade claimed responsibility” for the murder. The Al-Hind Brigade jihadis wrote in a WhatsApp message: “We at Al-Hind Brigade claim the responsibility for killing Kamlesh Tiwari, who tried to defame Islam and Muslims. More to come.”
More savage murders of those perceived to have insulted Muhammad, that is. The Al-Hind Brigade continued: “Kamlesh Tiwari was a nuisance and whosoever points fingers towards Islam and Muslims, will met same end. Al-Hind Brigade takes the responsibility. Get ready to see more. The war has begun.”
Oh yes, it began years ago. But surely the Al-Hind Brigade is among that tiny minority of extremists that misunderstands the Religion of Peace, right? Surely all the true Muslims in India are horrified by the murder of Kamlesh Tiwari, and aghast at this misunderstanding of the texts and teachings of their benign religion, no?

No. OpIndia reported that “soon after he was killed, many social media users expressed their glee over the brutal murder of a Hindu leader committed in broad daylight….One Twitter user Saif Anwar expressed his jubilation over the grisly murder of Tiwari and shared the photo of his murdered dead body, hailing those who committed this horrendous crime.” Other Muslims also “seemed to rejoice over the murder of the former Hindu Mahasabha leader. Many followers expressed delight and satisfaction over the murder while others abusing Kamlesh Tiwari with choicest of expletives commented that Tiwari ‘deserved’ this.”
What’s more, ANI reported Wednesday that “two of the prime accused in Kamlesh Tiwari murder case believed that killing of the Hindu Samaj Party leader was ‘justified as per Sharia.’”
The killers have good reason to think this. Islam mandates death for non-Muslim subjects of the Islamic state who mention “something impermissible about Allah, the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), or Islam” (Reliance of the Traveller, o11.10), and such laws are based upon passages in the Hadith and Sira in which Muhammad orders the murders of people who have insulted him.
These include Abu Afak, who was over one hundred years old, and the poetess Asma bint Marwan. Abu Afak was killed in his sleep, in response to Muhammad’s question, “Who will avenge me on this scoundrel?” Similarly, Muhammad on another occasion cried out, “Will no one rid me of this daughter of Marwan?” One of his followers, Umayr ibn Adi, went to her house that night, where he found her sleeping next to her children. The youngest, a nursing babe, was in her arms. But that didn’t stop Umayr from murdering her and the baby as well. Muhammad commended him: “You have done a great service to Allah and His Messenger, Umayr!” (Ibn Ishaq, 674-676)
Then there was Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf. Muhammad asked: “Who is willing to kill Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?” One of the Muslims, Muhammad bin Maslama answered, “O Allah’s Apostle! Would you like that I kill him?” When Muhammad said that he would, Muhammad bin Maslama said, “Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab).” Muhammad responded: “You may say it.” Muhammad bin Maslama duly lied to Ka’b, luring him into his trap, and murdered him. (Sahih Bukhari, volume 5, book 59, number 369)
Non-Muslim leaders in the West are confident that none of this is relevant, and that no Muslims whatsoever in the United States take it seriously. We can only hope that their inevitable rude awakening doesn’t come to them in the form that Kamlesh Tiwari’s end came to him.

MURDER is never justified. Killing someone out of self-defense IS. In the case of Abu Bakr al-Baghdad, it was a JUSTIFIED killing. ISLAM IS AN EVIL IDEOLOGY OF ALL NEGATIVE LIBERTIES. Liberals and fools would do well to know as much about ISLAM as they can before they adopt it as their own, UNLESS OF COURSE THEY DON’T MIND LIVING IN HELL FOR ETERNITY just Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi already is.

US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar slammed veteran Times of India reporter Aarti Tikoo Singh at a congressional sub-committee meeting on Kashmir, attacking her coverage of the situation in the region as well as her own professional integrity.

However, Omar challenged the veracity of what she claimed to be a dubious version of events.
“Ms. Singh, a reporter’s job is to find the objective truth about what is happening and report it to the public,” she said in rebuttal to the journalist’s testimony. “You have an enormous audience at The Times of India [the largest selling English-language daily newspaper in the world] and you have an enormous responsibility to get it right. I am aware of how the narrative shaped by reporting can distort the truth. I am also very aware of how it could be limited to sharing only the official side of the story. The press is at its worst when it is a mouthpiece for a government. In your version of the story, the only problems in Kashmir are caused by what you call militants, the only people protesting to break away from India; and are all nefariously backed by Pakistan. You also make the incredible dubious claim that the Indian government’s crackdown in Kashmir is good for human rights. If it was good for human rights, Ms. Singh, it wouldn’t be happening in secret. You make, what I might call, a feminist case for the occupation of Kashmir and communication shutdowns, saying it will be better for women.”
Singh defended her integrity with her decades-long career as a journalist. “My professional record is that I have lashed out at every single government in India on various issues, from human rights violations committed in Kashmir to the lynchings over beef,” she said. “I have a record of being non-partisan throughout… the last 20 years. So for Ms. Omar to say… such accusations against me, is really condemn-able.”
