Democrats to propose resolution to keep U.S. troops in Syria

30

This is Obama’s leftover mess when he made that half-assed attempt to remove Assad. President Trump is fulfilling his campaign promise to stop our involvement in these endless wars.

The Democrats brought this nation to near civil war demanding we ‘STOP THE WAR” – Vietnam! Iraq! — but now American blood and treasure for the Kurds?

America, wake up to the enemy among us.

Congressional Democrats to propose resolution to keep U.S. troops in Syria

OANN, Ocotber 13, 2019

Congressional Democrats are planning to introduce a resolution that will reverse the removal of U.S. troops from Syria. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said Sunday he and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will propose a motion to undo President Trump’s latest decision on Syria.

The two Democrats claim such a resolution will protect the Kurdish people from a genocide by Turkey. Schumer slammed the president for his decision to remove U.S. troops from Syria.

“How can this man do these kinds of things?” asked the senator. “We have never had a president like this who makes such strategic and important decisions on a whim.”

President Trump has said Democrats would attack him regardless of this recent decision in order to further their impeachment efforts. He referenced a recent Fox News interview with Mark Levin, who accused top Democrats of behaving unethically towards the president.

This is how the Democrats slithered into the Vietnam War. Like all tyrants, they are prone to start wars, because it helps bind the country together behind their tyrant leadership [Aristotle, 350 BC, ‘Politics’]. But the tyrant’s goal for these wars is to have long and pointless wars. If the war is actually won, then the tyrant must find some other excuse to subjugate the citizenry. Orwell described this quite well in ‘1984’.

Yes, and Democrats love to commit fraud. Tyrants always consider themselves above the law.

It is funny to see the democraps become warmongers when a president they disagree with is not, tho they got the USA into wars more often than republicans (and some, like Elizabeth War-ren, are members of the military industrial complex).

Boom, Assad steps up to defend Kurds with Syrian troops:

Syrian forces confront Turkish troops at Kobani and Manbij
Oct 14, 2019 @ 8:20
https://www.debka.com/mivzak/syrian-forces-confront-turkish-troops-at-kobani-and-manbij/
“Syrian government forces arrived at the Kurdish-held towns of Kobani, Manbij and Raqqa on Monday as Turkish troops were poised to move in against the first two. According to some reports the Syrian army are already in those towns, but, say DEBKAfile’s military sources, it can’t hold out against a Turkish advance without Russian support. This major switch on the front Turkey opened against the Kurds of northeastern Syria six days ago, occurred at lightning speed the day after Kurdish leaders struck a deal with Syria regime and Russian commanders and agreed to turn their territory over to the Assad regime. Since Syrian government troops are not up to a full-scale battle with the Turkish army without Russian army and air force support, Turkey and Russian stand at the threshold of a major military clash.”

Turdogan has a worsening economy at home and now risking world war if the Russians directly fight. It is fascinating to watch, in the same way as a trainwreck.

Yes, if the Russians fight, Erdogan may invoke the NATO charter and demand help from NATO. Trump was right to step our of this mess.

they didn’t “become” warmongers. the dems love to see white american boys killed on foreign soil for no purpose. they got us into korea, vietnam, iran, mogadishu, and the endless clinton-bush-muslim wars in the muslim world. notice that none of them or their boys would dare wear a uniform and be a target for the religion of peace

Agreed. Trying to sort out loyalties in the Middle East is like trying to unscramble the eggs in an omelet.

OK, since war needs be declared by Congress, shouldn’t they simply declare war on turkeyland? Until that is the case, they have NO say-so. So, declare war … or do nothing. Cannot have it both ways.

I think there is a limited amount of time where a President can do as he wishes.
So he did an EO to confirm getting out and what he is doing now.

THE DONALD DOCTRINE:
Trump tweets, Oct 14 2019:
“To his credit the Europeans didn’t step up to deal with this ISIS problem – it’s a lot of the reason why we are in this situation today. Now, Angela Merkel of Germany is finally stepping up and telling Turkey to back off. Don’t the Europeans have a lot of responsibility?” @KatiePavlich

Thank you Katie, I offered ISIS prisoners to the European countries from where they came, and was rejected on numerous occasions. They probably figured that the U.S. would bear the tremendous cost as always!

After defeating 100% of the ISIS Caliphate, I largely moved our troops out of Syria. Let Syria and Assad protect the Kurds and fight Turkey for their own land. I said to my Generals, why should we be fighting for Syria…..and Assad to protect the land of our enemy? Anyone who wants to assist Syria in protecting the Kurds is good with me, whether it is Russia, China, or Napoleon Bonaparte. I hope they all do great, we are 7,000 miles away!

Some people want the United States to protect the 7,000 mile away Border of Syria, presided over by Bashar al-Assad, our enemy. At the same time, Syria and whoever they choose to help, wants naturally to protect the Kurds….I would much rather focus on our Southern Border which abuts and is part of the United States of America. And by the way, numbers are way down and the WALL is being built!

Turkey doesn’t want them. Eventually Europe will get these Muslim fighters – guaranteed.
They should have tacking back THEIR citizens and done what ever they wanted with them.
Trump gave them that opportunity and they declined. They wanted the US to take back THEIR Muslim terrorists. No thanks! Trump declined.

Has anyone pointed out that now the muslims are fighting each other again? Russia probably thought things were cooling off.
Means
1 more “refugees” for the EU. I’m sure a great addition to their work force and tax “collection” base.
2 EU and Turkey were negotiating regarding membership.
3 EU has limited arms sales to Turkey..
4 What does the EU do when Trump imposes sanctions on Turkey, a prospective member?
It is going to get messy.. Go President Trump.
British are getting out just in time.

Trump is making monkeys out of every self-serving evil hypocrite and crony from Biten, to Erdogan, the entire Dim Pourty, and literally 90 percent of the national “legacy” media members — and none of them can help themselves.
They just continue rising to the bait.
Turkey is done as a NATO member and off on its way to civil war and revolution with Erdogan’s head on a pike.
The Trump Doctrine — what all of his voters have agreed upon for decades — “Let them kill each other.”

Resolutions don’t mean squat.

Pfff!
That resolution means nothing – just a childish outburst in writing.
If Trump had wanted to STAY, they’d have a resolution on that too.

Obama promised to end US involvement in Islamic wars then escalated peacekeeping efforts!

Waste of time and money. Let them kill each other. They don’t need our help. Over 1/4 of the global population are Muslim. Get their lazy backsides to take responsibility to deal with their own threats.

Islam is the War That Never Ends. It should die out.

Remember the raghead region’s old diatribe about “the enemy of my enemy is my friend?” How can we reasonably expect to support one group or another in that part of the world to sort out their international conflicts to our satisfaction?

You can’t make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t.

All I know it’s a psychotic stratego/middle East policy/chess game for the West, US, Russia to arm and aid both sides of a 1400 year long Muslim against Muslim blood feud. Then immigrate those displaced by all the chaos, so that you in effect have welcomed the chaos into your countries, because when they aren’t feuding they are competing with each other to take over the world for Allah. Using them as experts in your anti-terrorism forays in and out of the feud, is equally insane, as they become part of the Muslim deep state. As we know the left considers them allies in dismantling America & the West under the banner of climate change saving the world from capitalists and Christians. So the Deep state is a two-headed Hydra which is trying to impeach Trump before he drains their swamp. He should acknowledge they are at war with him and us, invoke war powers and charge them and the propaganda media with treason.

I have no problem with Schumer and Pelosi issuing a motion to undo President Trump’s latest decision on Syria. I think the full House and Senate should vote on the issue. It will tell the US voters who are the real war mongers. Perhaps Schumer and Pelosi would like for the 3 million Syrians and the PKK who are causing Turkey so many problems to come to the US. Next, out of Afghanistan.

The epitome of hypocrisy. Democrats steam roller’d the President Ford administration and yanked all of our troops out of Vietnam, leaving our Vietnamese allies at the mercy of the Viet Cong, resulting in a massacre.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said Sunday he and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will propose a motion and offer to HAVE ALL USA DEMOCRATS OFFER TO TRADE PLACES WITH THE TROOPS AND MOVE TO SYRIA SO THAT THEY CAN RESTORE BALANCE LIKE THEY DID SO WELL IN USA IN THE LAST 4 YEARS.

Now that would be a sensible win win for all.
