James Clapper: Obama Ordered Us to Start the Trump Witch Hunt

Story continues below advertisementJames Clapper, Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, told CNN’s Jim Sciutto that President Obama was the one who directed the deep state to “assemble all the reporting” about Russia meddling in the 2016 election. The admission that Obama himself ordered the start of the “witch hunt”, also known as the Russia probe, shows how the administration used its powers to try to develop and create a crime where one did not exist.
In my new book, Witch Hunt: The Story of the Greatest Mass Delusion in American Political History, he shows how key participants in the “witch hunt” admitted that they never had any credible evidence to launch the Trump-Russia investigation in July of 2019.
AdvertisementNine months later, when the special counsel was appointed, they still had no evidence to justify their probe. “Collusion” was all based on a pernicious lie drawn largely from a phony “dossier” commissioned by the Clinton campaign and Democrats. Undercover informants found only exculpatory evidence, which was then covered up.

With Mr. Clapper openly saying that it was President Obama himself who ordered the powers of the deep state to be used against Donald Trump, along with the revelation that the Obama White House approved Hunter Biden’s job on the board of a Ukrainian gas company, everyone should be asking what other actions will be revealed when the Inspector General’s FISA abuse report comes out.
Will these parties that disregarded the laws and statutes that protect Americans be held to justice? Or will the deep state once again escape with merely a slap on the wrist?

I’m not going to comb through the archives, at least just now. But Ref. 1 is a recent example of the kind of thing I was referring to. True, Omar’s represenative’s words- not Omar herself- were quoted in this case, but those words, viz:
FOR YEARS, ILHAN AND AHMED HAVE BEEN THE OBJECT OF SPECULATION AND INUENDO FROM POLITICAL OPPONENTS AND THE MEDIA.
did not say what the headline grabber said, viz:
My Adultery is the Fault of the Republicans and the Jews
Both Frontpagemag and gellerreport engage in what I consider to be a form of yellow journalism when they print such headlines. I think it brings their credibility into question.

Say, Obama, I know you and I have had our differences over the years. But, well, you’re a Christian (you said so yourself) and, well, as my grandpa the pastor always said, let bygones be bygones, by golly. I’m sure you agree.
Now can I get a seat on a corporate board to the tune of $600,000 per year in an industry I know nothing about? Rest assured, I’ll do you a favor some day in return.

I don’t think there will be any justice unless Trump either orders the Sergent At Arms to arrest the law-breaking politicians (which is possible, though not probable at this point) or the deep state makes life so bad people have no choice but to rebel (which is inevitable at some point in the future, because Trump can’t be president forever). Right now there is still food, fuel and medicine and plenty of bread and circuses.

The swamp is very quiet EXCEPT for the neocons being upset about pulling out of Syria and the middle east in general. It was a money making machine for them and they are financially invested in it. That is a blow to their financial portfolio.

Now I understand why Obama told Joe “you don’t have to run, Joe…you don’t have to do this.” Now I know why he didn’t endorse Joe. He knew the moron Joe would be the beginning of the end for his “legacy”….Joe was the weak link.
This whole shameful story of corruption is starting to unravel like a cheap sweater. I can only pray that all of these poltroons go to prison…it is the only way American citizens can have a feeling of true justice.

So what else is new, with the impeachment process merely being the swamps way of continuing to falsely attack a President who actually has shown that he cares primarily about what is best for our citizens first and foremost. We need to clean up, fumigate and come to recognize that the Democrats are playing our citizens for fools, and return this country to the rule of order that has made us the great nation that we are, before it is too late.
