This is another despicable act of anti-Semitism by the Labour Party. The Labour Party will likely oust this Jewish MP (Louise Ellman) because she has condemned Jeremy Corbyn for turning the Labour Party into a neo-Nazi party.
Labour Party officials have decided to debate Ellman’s status on October 8th, while Ellman would be observing Yom Kippur. Labour Party officials did not even have the courage to give Ellman the opportunity to defend herself against their attacks.
The damage that Jeremy Corbyn has done to the Labour Party is likely permanent. The Labour Party may never again be a party that is welcoming for Jews. Jewish Democrats in the United States should take note.

Jewish Labour MP could be ousted on Yom Kippur
Veteran Jewish MP from Britain’s Labour party faces no-confidence vote which is scheduled for Erev Yom Kippur.

A veteran Jewish MP on behalf of Britain’s Labour party is facing a no-confidence vote which is scheduled for the evening of Yom Kippur, the Jewish Chronicle reports.
The St. Michael’s Labour branch in Dame Louise Ellman’s Liverpool Riverside constituency is to debate a motion calling for her resignation and has scheduled the debate for Tuesday evening, on which Yom Kippur begins.
A motion cites a Jewish Chronicle article that reported Ellman’s speech in which she said she said she “understands why Jews would seriously consider leaving Britain if Corbyn became PM”.
The motion says, “We have no confidence that our MP Louise Ellman will carry out the wishes of our CLP and our Riverside constituency or that she will follow Labour Party policy.”
It adds, “This branch therefore call on our Riverside MP, Louise Ellman, to resign.”
In the speech in late September, Ellman lamented Jeremy Corbyn’s rise within her party, as well as the growth of anti-Semitism in Labour, adding that she “understood” why many British Jews would fear a Corbyn government to the point of leaving the UK if he were elected prime minister.
Ellman said in the speech that she had “never dreamed” her party would be led by “a man who would call Hezbollah and Hamas ‘friends’”.
A September 2018 poll by the Survation polling agency on behalf of The Jewish Chronicle found that 38.55% of British Jews would seriously consider leaving the UK if Corbyn became Prime Minister, with 85.9% saying they believed Corbyn is anti-Semitic.
The Jewish Labour Movement condemned the scheduling of the debate on Ellman for the night on which Kol Nidre is recited, calling it “truly despicable” and the “racially motivated targeting and bullying of a Jewish MP”.

When viewed as an outsider, it all seems so clear. The British are perhaps too close to see that they are well on their way to totalitarianism. All it takes is a little chiseling at their freedoms every few years, and the next thing they know – shazamm! – they’re serfs.

Nazism IS socialism modified to fit nationalist racist ideals. It has always been socialist and it always will be. Any claim to it being right or capitalist at all tonally ignores the history of its formation, support and defined aims. The pure aim of the SA was a socialist state and in Germany NO ONE owned their own home under Nazism. It belonged to the state and socialism is the state ownership of all property by definition.

…Hmmm. Given current events in the UK, I’d recommend a particular old movie for review: “Fame Is The Spur”, made in the late ’40s. It’s supposedly a fictional biography of an ambitious politician, but it’s really about *the corruption of the Labour party*. As such, it’s well worth watching for its relevance, all these decades later.

So what will happen Riverside MP Louise Ellman after she is kicked out of the Labour party?
Will she still be an MP, or is she being kicked out of Parliament all together?
Will she come knocking on the door of the Conservatives?
I don’t know that much about the British political process. It seems to be in a state of attempted self destruction, determined to stop Brexit, while Prime Minister Brois Johnson tries to carry through on it.
The court, for what it is in UK, has ruled against him in that he can’t adjourn Parliament.
It looks like the Queen might actually be the final arbiter, either dismissing Johnson or else carrying on her royal duties such as teas and charity events as usual.

Only the voters can kick her out. She can either resign and provoke a by election (your ‘special election’) and see whether the voters still want her or she can refuse to resign and continue as the MP for her constituency and become an independent in the House of Commons because the Labour Party will throw her out of the party (but not the House of Commons for reasons I just said).
If I were her I would stay on and be a bloody nuisance to her old party.

I have no time for_Jews who continue to vote and work for their enemies. They will never learn. Even after the thirties they still think it will be better ‘next time.’

Sorry, but the U.K. liebour party and its various supporters, from unions to students have always had an undercurrent of anti-semitism and anti Israel feelings. They supported the IRA, Irish Republicans who are Marxist and always supported the PLO.
These Jewish mps ignored this or in some cases supported these terrorist groups. Because they allowed anti Semitism to fester, it only needed a Corbin to bring it to the surface. This is a replay of 1930s Germany.
