A lame protest. Poorly attended except for the very left Jewish contingent from the Workman’s Circle.
No press was interested.

Next day, Sept 14, 2019 (Sat). The March against Microsoft/Close the Camps : #NoBusinessWithICE! Defund Tech!
Hosted by Empire State Indivisible outside NYC’s Main Library at 42nd and Fifth.
- 12:00 PM- Fifth Avenue at 42nd Street
- March will step off at 12:15pm sharp! (IT DID NOT)
- Children are caged in concentration camps and ICE is terrorizing our communities, all while private corporations continue to provide the support ICE needs to rip families apart.
- Private companies provide facilities, transportation, tech, research, and myriad other forms of support to this violent institution almost completely under the radar.

- We DEMAND that private companies stop being complicit in the horrific violence against immigrant communities.
- We DEMAND that private companies cancel all contracts with ICE and withdraw all support that allows the violent institution to continue to carry out its bloody mission.

Destination: the MicroSoft Store, planning to be arrested (as always).
It took FOREVER (waited an hour) for the police to do anything. There was a ridiculous amount of police tied-up by this protest/rally/ march; they just stood around forever while the store’s entrance was blocked.

NYPD arrested 76 “immigration policy protestors” on Saturday, after they held a pointless demonstration outside Microsoft’s flagship store in midtown Manhattan.
The protestors, of course, had a list of demands. They staged a sit-in, demanding that Microsoft stop doing business with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). As a result, the store closed its doors early.

Protesters targeted Microsoft earlier this year for the company’s $19.4 million contract with the immigration enforcement agency.
“Microsoft is a company of immigrants in a nation of immigrants,” part of Smith’s statement read. He also wrote that Microsoft is “something akin to ‘the United Nations of Software.'”
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella also wrote his thoughts on immigration in a June article on LinkedIn.
“I want to be clear: Microsoft is not working with the U.S. government on any projects related to separating children from their families at the border,” Nadella wrote. “
Alinskyied! Create a “crisis”. Keep police off the streets.

Does anyone in these stupid movements ever work, or are they all doing this on Gov assistance. New law: If you are on Gov financial assistance of any kind, you cannot protest against the gov. For every event they attend, 20% cut in their monthly assistance check. How long would they continue to protest then.

Janey, Yes, I know some very conservative Jewish people. The problem is that far too many jewish people lean way, way to the left. Many of them are fans and followers of Karl Marx. 71% of Jewish voters chose Democrat candidates since 1968.
Not only are most Jewish voters left leaning, many are completely out of their minds. In 2016 an incredible 71% of Jews voted for that monstrous career criminal, Hillary Clinton. Can you even imagine what she would have done to this country had she become president?
The majority Jewish vote has been for democrats in every single presidential election since 1916. What on Earth is wrong with these otherwise fine people? Why for instance would they vote for the muslim Obama who hates Israel and drools over everything Islam?

“Tradition” A lot of those Dem votes trace back to the Triangle Shirtwaist fire and the ILGWU that followed it. “Look for the Union Label.” After some of her comments that have surfaced, it’s a wonder that Hillary got any of those votes, but there they are. It would be like a Black voting for Wilson.

The first thing that strikes me when I see all these demonstrations……why aren’t these idiots at work in this booming economy and very hot job market?
Then I realize…these Globalist scum ARE AT WORK! They are being paid to march by the Globalists and/or on entitlements from our tax dollars.
The average person is either at work or taking care of their kids at home while one parent works.
These are not regular “citizens” of America…..these are paid agitators. They are rounded up by “community organizers”…..which I believe was the Marxist Obama’s job before Chicago Slumlord Valerie Jarrett spotted him and ran him for Senator….
I recall that when he left office he got a mansion within site of the Capitol Dome….said he was going to “keep an eye on things”….bull-hockey….he’s still “organizing”.
No doubt his criminal buddies – Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dorn – are sitting at his “round table” plotting the demise of America….funded by the Hungarian Billionaire.
There needs to be pictures taken of these crowds….anyone on the taxpayer’s dole should be cut off immediately.
I recall during the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings news people got film of shady characters standing around with brown paper bags of cash handing it out to “demonstrators” who went into the hearings …screaming and disrupting the process,
Why weren’t they arrested for disturbing the peace?
