  • Traffic came to a halt in the city and a Trump baby blimp flew over Palo Alto

Street brawls broke out last night as protesters burned the Stars and Stripes during President Donald Trump’s $15million fundraising visit to Los Angeles.

There were furious skirmishes outside the Beverly Hills Hotel on Tuesday when anti-Trump demonstrators were set upon while trying to set the US flag on fire.

Riot police were deployed to deal with the violence and a massive baby blimp of the President flew over Palo Alto as he met with wealthy Republicans to pick up funds for his 2020 re-election bid.

The usual traffic chaos during the LA rush hour was dialed up as joyous Trump supporters and raging self-styled anti-fascists followed Trump’s movements.

Officers were forced to separate the two groups and detained some of the more violent members, but did not make any arrests, CBS reported.

Trump supporter, Gregg Donovan, told the broadcaster: ‘I was very disappointed in both sides. I took a neutral stance. I just stood there with my sign the whole time, but the burning of the flag really hurt.’

‘There’s not been a president in living history that is as unpopular in the state of California as Trump,’ said Mike Madrid, a GOP political consultant who is an outspoken Trump critic. ‘But our money spends the same as everyone else’s.’

Trump kicked off his moneymaking with a $3million Bay Area luncheon, to be followed by a $5million Beverly Hills dinner at the home of real estate developer Geoffrey Palmer.

He’ll bring in an additional $7million on Wednesday with a breakfast in Los Angeles and luncheon in San Diego before he visits a section of the border wall.

About 100 protesters lined the road about a mile from Trump’s luncheon site in Portola Valley, with demonstrators inflating giant Baby Trump and Trump Chicken balloons.

Republican National Committee member Harmeet Dhillon of California said about 400 guests attended the fundraiser at the home of Sun Microsystems co-founder Scott McNealy, where the president spoke for about 45 minutes then took questions from the crowd.

Trump tweeted a cheery message as he departed New Mexico on Tuesday to fly to the state: ‘Just departed New Mexico for California, where we are delivering results!’ The tweet included statistics about the state’s unemployment rate and job creation.

A Trump supporter holds a placard with the President’s new unofficial slogan for 2020: ‘Keeping America Great!’

Talking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump got in some fresh digs about the state’s problem with homelessness, saying, ‘We can’t let Los Angeles, San Francisco and numerous other cities destroy themselves by allowing what’s happening.’

‘The people of San Francisco are fed up, and the people of Los Angeles are fed up. And we’re looking at it, and we’ll be doing something about it,’ he added.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, a Democrat, said ahead of Trump’s arrival that he hoped the president would work with the city to end homelessness. He said he had not been invited to meet with the president.

California was an incubator for the modern conservative movement that swept the state’s former governor, Ronald Reagan, into the White House in 1980.

But demographic changes and an influx of new residents have helped drastically rework the political contours of the country’s most populated state, with the former GOP stronghold of Orange County now home to more registered Democrats than Republicans.

For Republicans, who have been resigned to political irrelevance at the state level, a donation to Trump can amount to its own form of protest.

‘By showing up to a fundraiser deep in the belly of the beast, one is saying: “I don’t care what the liberal politicians are saying and I want to show my support for him publicly,”‘ said Dhillon, an ardent Trump supporter who said she lined up four tables of donors for the Silicon Valley event.

She said the president’s stopover delivered a jolt of energy for California Republicans, who live in a state where Democrats dominate state politics.

‘It’s been amazing for morale. All the California Republicans … left energized,’ Dhillon said.

California has long been a key fundraising hotbed for politicians of both parties, which have relied on the entertainment industry and wealthy industry heads to finance their political ambitions.

But under Trump, the run-of-the-mill fundraising trip has taken on a complicating dimension because of his harsh criticism of the state’s immigration laws and its forest management practices, which he blamed for fatal wildfires.

Earlier this month Trump lashed out at ‘Will and Grace’ TV star Debra Messing after she tweeted that attendees of the Trump’s California fundraisers should be outed publicly.

Trump tweeted back: ‘I have not forgotten that when it was announced that I was going to do The Apprentice, and when it then became a big hit, helping NBC’s failed lineup greatly, (at)DebraMessing came up to me at an Upfront & profusely thanked me, even calling me ‘Sir.’ How times have changed!’

In August, Trump took aim at the state’s massive film industry, calling Hollywood ‘very dangerous for our country.’

‘Hollywood is really terrible. You talk about racist – Hollywood is racist,’ he said.

That’s contributed to heightened security concerns surrounding the president’s visit.

In downtown Los Angeles, a few dozen demonstrators gathered for an anti-Trump rally organized by social activists.

‘We don’t want him bringing his hate to Los Angeles,’ said Frankie Jester, 27. ‘We know his rhetoric and there’s no place for it here.’

Overall, Trump continues to rake in cash more than a year out from the November 2020 contest, with his campaign and the Republican National Committee pulling in more than $210million since the start of 2019, Federal Election Commission records show.

That’s more than all the current Democrats seeking to replace him raised combined during that period.

The visit this week marks Trump’s fourth to the state during his presidency. He is set to visit a section of the border wall on Wednesday in the San Diego-Tijuana area before returning home to Washington.

Trump plans to visit two of the earlier wall projects funded on his watch.

Last month, the administration completed 14 miles of steel bollards up to 30 feet high, except for a small stretch where homes in Tijuana, Mexico, blocked the construction path, triggering bilateral talks about whether to knock them down.

Every Democrat voter HATES America. They want America to be a Socialist Country where no one has anything but a handout check and if we object to the government, we are put in prison or murdered.

Union of the socialists american states (USAS) sounds awesome to them, because that worked out so fine for the Russians.
As real socialism hasn’t being tried yet, they’re angry, self hating and aren’t parting like it’s 1917.

They can, and will use the same name: Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

There will be no more “states,” as there will be no longer be an American constitution that bears any resemblance to the document of 1789.

The Late Dr. Adrian Rogers, 1931 to 2005
“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.”

We should be copying this and pasting it everywhere….I’m giving copies to my grandchildren.

It may appear that L.A. is a cesspool of deranged liberals and only that. To be sure, the city is overwhelmingly liberal. However, there is still a fair number of conservatives in the city who get no attention. Only the bastards who burn the precious flag who, by the way, should not have been allowed to walk away from that without broken bones.

I still have friends in LA, they told me they would not consider having any pro-Trump bumper stickers on their cars or signs in front of their homes, because of possible retaliation — incl. violence.

Vegas is getting worse because of the Union Supported Demoncrat Machine that is gaining an unbreakable grip on local politics.
They will destroy Southern Nevada in the same fashion that they have destroyed California.

I know.
We are in the process of developing a residential property in Rural Northern Nevada.
The “Money Interests” are never going to let Nevada deteriorate to the point where LA, San Francisco, and other leftist run west coast cities are at.
When the epidemic diseases, caused by the grossly negligent mis-management of municipal resources, begin to manifest in these formerly great cities you will see a sea-change in the levels of support for these failing policies in Nevada and elsewhere.

I just left Vegas two months ago.
In 2008 the housing prices in Cali went really stupid…so they looked over at us and saw the cheap housing….they flooded into Vegas buying up everything even though many defaulted on the debt….the national housing finance crisis started in Vegas and spread across the country…thanks to the Clintons and their crooked bankers…..
These horrible people infected our local governments like a plague…they took a staunchly Republican town and turned it into Hillaryville…

Now, the Sheriff in Vegas is practicing “sanctuary rules”…he does catch and release….and the town council is set to vote to make Vegas a sanctuary city?!! You can’t fix stupid. Apparently they haven’t seen the streets of San Francisco and LA…and so many other Dimm run cities and states.

Dimms infect every place they migrate with politics …..when crime jumped in my formerly nice neighborhood I loaded up the cat and dog and went back to my home state of TN…..unfortunately, in the small town where I moved….there are MEs all over the place…..not much comfort in that.

Same protocol as for dealing with any other form of communicable disease.
The leftist/demoncrat mentality represents a complex of Communicable Mental Disorders and the only way to deal with it is to eliminate the disease vectors, which means absolute quarantine of those already infected in 24-7-365 Locked Wards. The alternative is the “Final Solution”.

There is no possibility of working with people who will squander more than the annual income of the average family of four to provide a bed and shower facilities for a single homeless person.
What has to be done is to stand back and allow these Democrat Controlled Cesspits to deteriorate to the point where a Federal Emergency can be declared on the grounds of Public Health and Safety and the incompetents forcibly removed from power. [Then charged criminally for their willful incompetence]

…..so far that hasn’t worked for the cities they have already infested and made dangerous and uninhabitable….I’m hoping after President Trump enters his second term that he will do just that…declare these areas “Federal emergencies” and take action….it’s our only chance as a Nation.

The current problem being that the level of Public Health Threat is not “In Your Face” enough for the clueless sheeple to comprehend the threat.
We’ve had Modern Sanitation Practices in place for so long in the USA that people don’t even have a third hand memory as related by a senior citizen relative of what is possible when the Sanitation Codes break down from lack of enforcement of the Statutory Laws that work to support the Sanitation Codes.
It is so bad in Los Angeles, which refuses to engage in the sort of rat control programs that are standard in most eastern cities that have dealt with rat infestations for more than a century, that an outbreak of Bubonic Plague is predicted and Hanson’s Disease [Leprosy] is on the rise.
My great fear is that Cholera and Amoebic Dysentery will become endemic and the lax procedures currently being observed will not be able to control the outbreaks until the death toll reaches levels not seen since the 19th Century.

Democrat’s Agenda:
If you vote for Democrats you are voting for socialism, higher taxes, no energy independence, guaranteed recession, a nuclear Iran (“Death to The USA”,) open borders, free medical for illegals and welfare, no private insurance, rationed single payer government healthcare (cost 32T over 10 yrs., hospitals will go bankrupt,) free college, monthly stipend for everyone, reparations for blacks, the “Green New Deal” (cost trillions, $13.00+ per gallon of gas,) anti-Israel/Semitism and with time China’s economy/military power over the USA.
Freedom and capitalism are what made America great, let’s not take that away. I would rather have a non-politically correct president with a very successful record over Democrat’s destructive socialistic agenda any time or day. The Democrats must never take away our rights and transform America into a socialist state in 2020 or any time thereafter.
