Arizona Democratic Party will hold vote to censure Sinema

Dan O’Neal, the state coordinator for Progressive Democrats of America, told the news outlet that the censure is an effort to push Sinema back toward the left.
Story continues below advertisement“Here’s the thing: We really support Kyrsten Sinema, we want her to succeed, we want her to be the best senator in the country,” O’Neal said. “But the way she is voting is really disappointing. We want Democrats to vote like Democrats and not Republicans.”
The progressive caucus of the state party outlined its reasoning in a resolution.
FiveThirtyEight’s Trump Tracker found that Sinema has opposed Trump during her time in the Senate 81 percent of the time. During her time in the House, where she served three terms, she supported Trump’s agenda 54% of the time.
Those seeking to censure Sinema point to her vote to confirm David Bernhardt, Trump’s nominee to serve as secretary of the Interior, as well as her vote to confirm William Barr as Attorney General, the news outlet notes.
Additionally, progressives in the Arizona Democratic Party cite Sinema’s resistance to joining fellow Democrats in trying to reinstate net neutrality rules to prevent internet service providers from throttling websites.

Which tells you that the left wing nuts have destroyed the party. She is their to represent her constituents, not to represent the crazies on the left! I’m an Independent/Conservative and did not vote for her however, I probably will the next term. She is one of the few on the Left that has common sense and is reasonable. She’s 100% better than Flake! Am starting to wonder, did a large portion of the left down some Ectasy or some other drug and it has completely altered them into insanity. Dismantle Congress/House of Reps(hahahahaha) and start over.

The residents of Arizona elected a Senator that encouraged Americans to fight along side the Taliban. The people of Arizona are enemies of America.

Asked about her Taliban comment during an interview with the Arizona Republic editorial board on Oct. 17, Sinema said, “That was an offhand comment to direct the conversation back to what I wanted to talk about, which was my concerns around this war. I was against the war — 15 years later, I think there are good reasons for that.”
“But you can see how that comment about the Taliban could be offensive to people on the ground?” she was asked.
“I think understanding the context in which that conversation occurred, I don’t know if you’ve had an opportunity to listen to the tape, and heard Mr. Hancock, who is, again, a very interesting fellow, it was a very difficult conversation,” Sinema said. “I was really struggling to be able to talk about what I wanted to speak about and so an offhand comment to get us back on track was what I did to try to talk about the issue.”

And also let me be clear, I have worked with her brother and his wife. Both have the highest level of integrity, a very rare trait these days. Both are Law Enforcement and the brother is a Marine (once a Marine always a Marine) I have never met her but also have seen photos from the past that pretty much show that she aligns with the left. But wake up, I grew up in the 60’s and was a hippie……I also have learned, I don’t pay too much attention to words, which can be used as downright lies, misspoken, etc, I do pay attention to actions and she has surprised me. So throw your damn stones and revel in your superiority…….I won’t lose sleep over it!

I figured Sinema would be the worst. She might be eventually, but the Squad has totally soaked up all the attention… for now. Maybe she’s more dangerous for not being obvious though. She’ll probably be reelected. AOCian ilk seem to want to be Ladies of the Flies. Ilwon did WHAT with her brother/cousin? Ew.

If I remember right she was one of the few women demonrats that didn’t dress as a Ku Klux Klanswoman for the 2018 freshman class. I don’t think the lizards were very happy about that.
