Yes, you read that right. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was too gutless to attend the first debate of his re-election campaign. What a joke. Naturally the Left-wing media in Canada will give Trudeau a pass for this act of cowardice. This is an example of why Canada has become a laughing stock and irrelevant country.
The Conservative Party candidate Andrew Scheer will only have ONE CHANCE to take on PM Trudeau, since Trudeau will only commit to one English speaking debate. Scheer better make his one chance count, or PM Trudeau will very likely be re-elected on October 21st.

Justin Trudeau’s three main political rivals attacked his record in office with impunity Thursday after the Liberal leader was a no-show for the Maclean’s/Citytv debate — leaving viewers with the impression that the last four years have been anything but positive.
While he finished the day on a high note with an amped-up, high-energy rally in Edmonton, his opponents had free rein in front of a television audience.
At times the debate was a sort of “greatest hit” list of the prime minister’s perceived failings in his first term: the SNC-Lavalin debacle, unbalanced budgets, a major pipeline purchase, troubled Crown-Indigenous relations, a fractious relationship with China and a much-mocked trip to India.
A relatively subdued Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer dismissed Trudeau as an unethical and wasteful spendthrift who has run up budget deficits.
NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, who was punchy, and well-prepared in his attacks, branded Trudeau as a callous leader who uses “pretty words” while also mocking First Nations people living in Grassy Narrows with a poisoned water supply.
Singh pointed to the ready access SNC lobbyists had to the prime minister’s office as proof Trudeau isn’t in it for average Canadians. “Mr. Trudeau hasn’t shown up for people for four years and he hasn’t shown up today for the people,” Singh said.
Trudeau would not debate his opponents because his incompetence would be exposed. Instead, he had a rally in Edmonton.

Trudeau Decides Election Campaign Should Begin On…..9/11

While the campaign has been going on unofficially for weeks, certain things must be done in order for the official campaign period to begin. The Prime Minister must visit the Governor General and ask her to dissolve Parliament in order to begin the formal election period. Although the Governor General could technically refuse, that will not happen. As well as dissolving Parliament, the GG issues writs requiring elections to be held in all 338 electoral districts. This is generally referred to as “dropping the writ.”
In order to have the Oct. 21 election date, the Prime Minister had several days in which he could have arranged for this to happen. To simplify, he could have arranged to meet the Governor General on Sept. 10, or Sept. 12; it would not have made a big difference.
But Justin Trudeau decided to have the writ dropped today; on the 18th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks that saw almost 3,000 innocent people die. As is customary, Trudeau will visit the Governor General at 10 a.m. this morning. This will be the same time of the morning when the terrorist attacks were well underway. It is also the time that ceremonies honoring the victims of the attacks will be taking place. Trudeau doesn’t care.

There is absolutely no doubt this date was chosen deliberately. How could it not have been? Trudeau’s narcissism is such that he has to be the center of attention and cannot let the day when “some people did something,” as his ilk now view the attacks, get in the way.
By making the dropping of the writ the big news, the PM is also giving the finger to President Trump and, whether or not you like the president, to all of the American people. Since coming to power, Trudeau has made it clear he identifies more with Islamic terrorists than he does their victims.

Most people either forget or don’t know that he gave the vote to over 2million exCanadians abroad who still hold valid citizenship but lost residency status (out of country 5yrs, no intention of returning). Why? Because his researched of course showed that they were mostly Liberal. In a country of 36million+, with a voting population of what 2/3’s of that, say 25million, 2mil.extra is substantial.

Maxime Bernier, a Quebecer – I’m from Alberta so it shows how “conservative” he must be if I’m willing to vote for him despite how Albertans feel about Quebecers. – is pro self defense via “Have a gun,” against mass phony muslim immigration, is pro oil and pro pipeline, and is for getting out of the UN, and all sorts of REAL conservative stuff, and has even gotten more candidates running for his new party, in 9 months, than the leader of the Green Party has is over a decade.
But he’s banned from the debate while the Green Party leader isn’t.
I only hope the majority of Canadians have the cajones to put principle before pride.
