Only 26% of House Democrats attend moment of silence for 9/11

Pathetic Democrats, who hate this country to it’s core mostly didn’t even bother to show up for today’s House moment of silence on the Capitol steps. There were also quite a few lazy Republicans who skipped it all together too. I saw AOC in the crowd and who I think is Rashida Tlaib, but the rest of the squad was either missing, or I just didn’t see them mixed in with the crowd.

Story continues below advertisementDidn’t see Eric Swallowswell or Sheila Jackson Lee or other lousy Democrats. You know who else I didn’t see? Elijah Cummings. Most of the Democrats who gave their token appearance were the ones in purple or red leaning districts that stole seats in 2018. The fact that 74% of House Democrats couldn’t be bothered to attend a moment of silence on the 18th anniversary of 9/11 really makes my blood boil.

I went to a candlelight memorial service at my town’s 9/11 memorial (about 150 attended), which is prominently placed in the small park at the center of town–small town, but one hour+ ride to NYCity. Two high-school aged teenagers were walking through the parking lot of the diner directly across the street from the memorial service and complained about all the traffic. One said, “It must be the veterans.” I said, “No, it’s the 9/11 memorial.” They both said, “Oh, …”

Were’nt even alive when that tragedy unfolded – I don’t so much blame them as nothing reallys been done to fix the problems of why it happened in the first place.. They also are being brainwashed/indoctrinated by the common core islamic jihadi pushing traitors in our public educational system

Does anyone expect the Democratic-Islamic Party to pay homage to the innocent 9/11 victims or their loved ones? This perfidious, treasonous Party betrayed its real agenda; its loathing of this Constitutional Republic by ignoring the most heinous terrorist attack on American soil.
The fact that the mass-murderers were Muslim Jihadis, not some malevolent white supremacists was the reasoning this toxic Party, by-and-large, chose not to honor the victims and families. Those of the 26% who honored the victims must search deep into the septic depths of the Party of which they represent. The vile and subversive Democrats, once again, have exhibited their allegiance with Islam and its detestation of America.

It makes “my blood boil” too. I believe those that did not
attend are dealing with a problem of “political correctness” in which they will
avoid anything and everything that might be considered an insult to Islam. Yet,
it is clear that it was Islam that is directly related to the carnage that was
9-11. Even I had a moment to reflect on that carnage with my group of luncheon
veterans with whom I meet every Wednesday.
We just cannot forget what happened on that tragic day, and as long as I live,
I will know who to accuse and respect the memory of those innocents who lost
their lives.

DNC Resolution Celebrates Democrats’ ‘Largest Religious Group’ — And It’s Not Christians

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) passed a resolution at its summer meeting championing “religiously unaffiliated” voters, who the resolution noted are the “largest religious group” within the party.
The DNC’s “Resolution Regarding the Religiously Unaffiliated Demographic” stated that “religiously unaffiliated Americans overwhelmingly share the Democratic Party’s values,” and “have often been subjected to unfair bias and exclusion in American society.”

values, with 70% voting for Democrats in 2018, 80% supporting same-sex marriage, and 61%
saying immigrants make American society stronger; and
WHEREAS, the religiously unaffiliated demographic represents the largest religious group
within the Democratic Party, growing from 19% in 2007 to one in three today; and
WHEREAS, the nonreligious have often been subjected to unfair bias and exclusion in
American society, particularly in the areas of politics and policy making where assumptions of
religiosity have long predominated; and
WHEREAS, those most loudly claiming that morals, values, and patriotism must be defined by
their particular religious views have used those religious views, with misplaced claims of
“religious liberty,” to justify public policy that has threatened the civil rights and liberties of
many Americans, including but not limited to the LGBT community, women, and ethnic and
religious/nonreligious minorities; and
WHEREAS, the Democratic Party is an inclusive organization that recognizes that morals,
values, and patriotism are not unique to any particular religion, and are not necessarily reliant on
having a religious worldview at all; and
WHEREAS, nonreligious Americans made up 17% of the electorate in 2018 and have the
potential to deliver millions more votes for Democrats in 2020 with targeted outreach to further
increase turnout of nonreligious voters; and
WHEREAS, a record number of openly nonreligious candidates are running for public office;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL
COMMITTEE recognizes:
1. The value, ethical soundness, and importance of the religiously unaffiliated
demographic, a group of Americans who contribute in innumerable ways to the arts, sciences, medicine, business, law, the military, their communities, the success
of the Party and prosperity of the Nation; and
2. That religiously unaffiliated Americans are a group that, as much as any other,
advocates for rational public policy based on sound science and universal
humanistic values and should be represented, included, and heard by the Party.
