Netanyahu denies writing message that caused Facebook to sanction his page’s chatbot over hate speech

Story continues below advertisementIsraeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has denied writing a message that caused Facebook to sanction a Messenger bot on his page for a violation of its hate speech policy.
Facebook said on Thursday that the tech giant had suspended for 24 hours the page’s bot or automated chat function.
The message had called on voters to prevent the establishment of a government composed of “Arabs who want to destroy us all — women, children and men.” The message sparked uproar by opposition politicians in Israel.

Netanyahu denied he wrote the post in an interview with Kan Reshet Bet radio. He said it was a staffer’s mistake and the post was removed.

“Think rationally. I am a serious person,” he told interviewers, according to a Haaretz report. “I have friends in Arab countries. What is this nonsense?”
Haaretz reports that Facebook users who accessed the chatbot content were urged to convince undecided voters to vote for Netanyahu’s Likud party. Israel’s national election takes place on Sept. 17.
Facebook noted that it had sanctioned the Messenger bot, not the page. “After careful review of the Likud campaign’s bot activities, we found a violation of our hate speech policy,” the social network explained, in a statement emailed to Fox News. “We also found that the bot was misusing the platform in the time period allowed to contact people. As a result, we temporarily suspended the bot for 24 hours. Should there be any additional violations, we will continue to take appropriate action.”

Yesterday I watched an interesting documentary about the creation
of lithography. A procedure that is so elaborate that it is no longer
affordable today. It was devised by a German named Senefelde and
used in Paris to produce particularly colourful posters, for which one
had to be able to paint side-inverted, Lautrec was one of the masters.
I also learned from a Canadian philsopher from Montreal
that Montreal translated means Königsberg. Since Königs-
berg has perished, Montreal will probably soon be the same.

Why don’ you make your own website instead of spamming here? I agree that some of what you post is interesting but the avalanche of such is indicative of mania and abnormal. Prune them a little and control yourself. Interesting that your account cannot be checked. By design I would guess as IMO you have been banned before.

Zuckerberg was raised in a Reform Jewish household, and his ancestors hailed from Germany, Austria and Poland. He had a Star Wars themed Bar Mitzvah when he turned 13.
However, you can be Jewish and not support Israel…. George Soros is another example…..

CLOSE, SHUT DOWN FACEBOOK in Israel & the U.S. as this is proof beyond a reasonable doubt that
Facebook is unconstitutional, an ultra vires corporation. Mark Zuckerburg & the Facebook Board of Directors MUST be imprisoned, their wealth confiscated as ill begotten gain, unjust enrichment. This is an act of WAR against Israel, the USA & Texas as well as attempting to overthrow the govt., espionage, sedition, & treason, which is a DEATH PENALTY. Firing squads, lethal injections are so mundane, I recommend allowing Mark et al. to swim for it, they will be made to swim in a small lake or pond filled sharks & piranhas. Las Vegas could easily handle betting. IFF for some reason Mark et al.make it past lake 01, & 02, then they must swim across a river, a moat filled w/ crocodiles. Let the betting continue. IFF Mark, et al. miraculously gets past the crocodiles, the komodo dragons will be waiting for them as they get to the other side. Of course, since there is NO PLACE to hide, this will be televised live (NAKED & AFRAID 2) & advertising could be sold to magazines, newspapers, radio & tv. The revenue can then be used to build a wall. Frankly this idea has merit, as there are many others that should be made to swim for it (I’m thinking BILL GATES, HILLARY CLINTON, OBAMA, MERKEL, et al.) –

I’m glad facebook deleted my page, my photos and 250 friends without notice, because I wasted too much time there. My sin? Reposting articles that were mainly on facebook!! Facebook is old hat! Can’t wait for it to disappear!!
