Washington Post columnist warns of need to ‘burn down the Republican Party’ to wipe out Trump supporters

By Nick Givas, FOX News, August 26, 2019:

Washington Post opinion writer Jennifer Rubin pushed for Americans to work together to “burn down the Republican party” in the hopes of extinguishing any trace of the enthusiasm for President Trump.

Story continues below advertisement

Rubin appeared on MSNBC’s “AM Joy” Sunday and said that not only does Trump have to lose in 2020, but there must be a purging of “survivors” who still support the commander-in-chief.

“It’s not only that Trump has to lose, but that all his enablers have to lose,” she said. “We have to collectively, in essence, burn down the Republican Party.”

“We have to level them because if there are survivors — if there are people who weather this storm, they will do it again.”

Rubin said if Republicans are victorious next November, they will see it as an affirmation of their beliefs, and only become further emboldened to push their radical views on society.

“They will take [an election win] as confirmation that, ‘Hey, it just pays to ride the waves. Look at me, I made it through,'” she said.

Rubin also claimed the country doesn’t want to shrink the federal government and would suffer if they tried to limit the size of America’s bureaucracy.

“Up and down the ticket, federal, state and local offices, the country has to repudiate this… This has become a dysfunctional anti-government party,” she said.

She’s a monster. Rubin has always reminded me of one of those ugly deep sea fish with all the teeth and the little wiggler dangling from its’ nose, lol!

Not knowing what she looks like since I truly don’t care I thought I’d fact check your allegation. My ophthalmologist insists my eyes will recover after a sufficient amount of cask strength single malt Islay Scotch is ingested. Right now I am relying on a voice recognition typing app to post this. My ophthalmologist rates your claim as a now proven fact if you enhance it with something like: Rubin has always reminded me of one of those ugly deep sea sharks with all the teeth and the little wiggler dangling from its nose. My ophthalmologist insists your eyes are fine but though the shark is a fish, you need some work on learning to distinguish deep sea ugly critters from each other. But the good doctor insists we can now refer to the self-identifying Neoconservative (an oxymoron) as deep sea ugly Rubin. Live free and prosper, Thomas.

Everyone, including you and me, absolutely must heed my ophthalmologist’s advice and always wear a pair of eclipse-of-the-sun viewing glasses when daring to view any ugly deep sea shark. They are easy to spot as they exhibit one of these characteristics: they love to wear one of them lady intimate body part hats, have a women studies degree, and consider killing their own children a God-given right. Besides shark teeth, my ophthalmologist, a God-appreciating MAGA lady adds that some sharks chew with teeth similar to those of the dread piranha and others use vampire teeth to drink the blood of their children. Fortunately for us, they are easily offended and will melt into a puddle of tears if reminded Trump won in 2016 and the anointed queen lost and is as ugly as are they.

Keep laughing, Thomas. A laugh a day keeps the marxists at bay!

Here’s an example why I never became a stand up comedian:
My dog is a shape shifter. Just this morning he ran down the path and turned into a tree. In the meantime I turned into a Biker Bar, my mostest favorite after whatever’s nearby, open, and has Single Barrel Bourbon on tap.

I’d like to believe you are right, but it’s not what I see out there.

I see increasingly mindlessly leftist millenial and Gen Y generations who know nothing of history, but sure they have all the answer as to how to structure a complex society. I see an expectation that government will take care of me …. that it is “society’s” job to provide. Dontcha know, a living wage is a “right” (somehow that right escaped the notice of the founding fathers of the US of A who, I suppose, were “Locked in” to certain British ways of thinking).

The bloodshed and mayhem in our societies caused by such people with their screwy ideas is no longer enough for them, they’re in effect seeking to “widen the franchise” by creating a left wing revolution through voter fraud and gerrymandering.

Easy. You rip ALL Jews because they have a suicidal tendency to support questionable candidates and causes. I suppose they have their reasons, but they are not Trump’s ‘Jewish problems’. To lump a group together like that is bigotry, I’m afraid. It’s also unproven, like most polls and graphs. At best it shows a trend, that’s all. And your example, the one you ask for, right here in our face.
I don’t know why they lean Democrat. Doesn’t make sense. But I don’t hate them for it. Hell, I voted for Carter in ’76 and have kicked myself over that ever since.

First off, a bigot is defined as a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions. Technically, that would make Jude MacAbaech a bigot, because she was definitely intolerant toward my differing opinion.

“You rip ALL Jews because they have a suicidal tendency to support questionable candidates and causes.”

Incorrect! The comment didn’t rip ALL Jews, it only ripped the 75% of Jews that voted for Clinton, Johnson, and Stein.

“…but they are not Trump’s ‘Jewish problems’.”

Nonsense! Any voters that voted against Trump was definitely a problem for Trump because he was trying to win the presidency, NOT lose it. Also, if the Clinton voters had gotten their way, it would have definitely also became a problem for the country as well.

“It’s also unproven, like most polls and graphs. At best it shows a trend, that’s all.”

Wrong! Not only is it not unproven, but the “trend” it shows has been consistent since 1968! Since 1968, Jewish voters have voted on average 71% for Democrats. That was the exact number that went for Hillary Clinton in 2016.

“I don’t know why they lean Democrat. Doesn’t make sense.”

It would only not make sense to a person who doesn’t understand Jews.

“The Communist soul is the soul of Judaism. Hence it follows that just as in the Russian revolution the triumph of Communism was the triumph of Judaism, so also in the triumph of fascism will triumph Judaism.”
– (((Rabbi Harry Waton))), A Program for the Jews and Humanity, p. 143-144

“The Jew is an inborn Communist.”
– (((Otto Weininger))), Sex and Character, p. 311

“Some call it Marxism – I call it Judaism.”

I know that there are useful goyim idiots as well, which is why I said MOST of Trump’s problems seem to be Jewish ones. However, no one is preventing you from making your own list of gentiles and posting it to counterbalance my list of Jews. You may not like my list to the point of angerly insulting me, but you can’t say it isn’t true. The truth only sounds like hate to those that hate the truth.

Do ya’ll notice the manipulative little assumptions this creature makes? In particular how Republicans are ‘radicals’…says the radical.
One of the things we have to do is stop letting them set the narrative and assume the high ground in morality and speech, from education to legislatures. They take these lies and insert them into their dialogue, and when done enough these hijacked concepts and phrases become the damaging ‘truth’.
But that said, maybe the very best outcome to this would be for her and all her ilk to actually try to ‘burn it down’. My dark side wants them to try.

…they follow the Saul Alinsky playbook “RULES FOR RADICALS” to the tee….thats how we know what they will do next….unfortunately for them, it hasn’t worked here in the 1950s and it’s not going to work now.

Another alarming thing creeping into our language…..calling States Left or Right….once you label something it is hard to change….we need to get back to saying “united states” of America….

And notice that while San Francisco and Baltimore drown in filth and horrors for their citizens….the people in charge are busy thinking up new words. and terms for criminals…in SF they no longer call the felons…felons….they have a new term….something like .“justice-involved persons,”…..so, that could be anything from a parking ticket, to a bank robber, to a murderer or rapists….or it could be a prosecutor or a judge????? They are “justice involved” in their jobs.

Does this mean that California is going to be burning the midnight oil to burn all the law books and statutes in the state and re-print them?

We’ve reached the near crest of the lunacy. The crest will come when President Trump wins the next election….and then we ain’t seen nothing yet…..

Now that you mention it, a city council’man’ here in Seattle (once the Emerald City, with the bluest skies you ever saw) is trying to get pressure washers banned, which would make cleaning the sh*t stained sidewalks a bit difficult. It’s racist, he says!?!?

That has to feel like Bizzoro world…..
We get so focused on the national news, we forget to look at our own town. I took a look because I was shocked to find our Sheriff was doing “catch and release” of illegal criminals…then let them back into our community…AND, the city council is about to vote to be a Sanctuary city?!!

It’s still decent in the east side suburbs, but it seems Seattle-itis cometh, even here. We are making plans to move, at least to eastern Washington. I want to put distance between me and ANY large city. In this case, distance and a mountain range. Even Spokane, which will be the nearest city is over a hundred miles from where we’re looking. I can’t wait.
If the balloon goes up, it will be tantamount to suicide to be close to a city.

Of course Jennifer Rubin was writing metaphorically, not literally. Are folks unaware that SHE is a right-of-center GOP, herself? But she’s a staunch opponent of Trump, and of the harm he has done not only to the GOP, but also to a wide variety of other American values. As someone who has been reading her insightful and spot-on columns for years, I have to agree she nailed this one, too.
How soon will mainstream Republicans ever be able to take back their party from Trumpist buffoonery and ethnic-nationalist populism? Never, unless they purge Trumpists.
