Israel To Send Aid To Help Brazil Fight Amazon Fires

Israel to the rescue. Israel is always eager to provide aid to a country in need, especially when that country is a friend. Brazil is a friend.

By No Camel’s Team, August 26, 2019:

Israel is sending aid to Brazil to fight the devastating fires in the Amazon rainforest that have been raging for over three weeks.

According to a report in the Brazilian publication O Globo, Israel will be sending a firefighting aircraft and flame-retardant materials following a call offering assistance by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Sunday.

Bolsonaro, a right-wing leader who has moved to cut funds to agencies protecting the rain forest, has come under heavy international pressure to act, having initially dismissed the fires and then suggesting environmental activist groups may have started the fires to delegitimize his government.

Finally, on Friday, the Brazilian leader announced that he would send over 40,000 troops to help fight the fires, which can be seen from space, according to satellite images captured by US space agency NASA.

“Many thanks to dozens of heads of state who listened to me and helped us overcome a crisis that only interested those who want to weaken Brazil, ” Bolsonaro tweeted on Sunday.

Israel’s relations with Brazil warmed significantly since Bolsonaro was elected president in 2018. Netanyahu attended Bolsonaro’s inauguration in January, the first sitting Israeli prime minister to visit Brazil. Bolsonaro visited Israel in March.

In late January, Israel sent an aid delegation to Brazil after a dam burst at an iron mine in the city of Brumadinho killing dozens of people.

Brazil rejects millions in G7 aid for Amazon, blasts ‘imperialist’ Macron
Issued on: 27/08/2019 – 06:17
Modified: 27/08/2019 – 15:43

Brazil on Monday rejected $20 million in aid offered by G7 countries to fight wildfires in the Amazon, with a top official telling French President Emmanuel Macron to take care of “his home and his colonies”.

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro says Brazil will only accept an offer of international aid to fight the Amazon fires if French President Emmanuel Macron retracts comments that he found offensive.

Bolsonaro on Tuesday said Macron had called him a liar and accused him of questioning Brazil’s sovereignty. Bolsonaro said Macron must retract some of his comments, “and then we can speak”.

“We appreciate [the offer], but maybe those resources are more relevant to reforest Europe,” Onyx Lorenzoni, chief of staff to President Jair Bolsonaro, told the Brazilian G1 news website.

“Macron cannot even avoid a foreseeable fire in a church that is a world heritage site. What does he intend to teach our country?” he continued, referring to the April fire that devastated the Notre-Dame cathedral.

“Brazil is a democratic, free nation that never had colonialist and imperialist practices, as perhaps is the objective of the Frenchman Macron,” Lorenzoni said.

Bolsonaro reacted by blasting Macron for having a “colonialist mentality” and later endorsed disparaging comments about the French president’s wife posted online, driving their relationship to a new low.

In another sign of tension, Bolsonaro skipped a meeting last month with visiting French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, saying that he had instead gone to get a haircut.

Slash and burn claiming of land, in Brazil, has been going of since the sixties. That is controlled burning. There is substantial evidence that points to these fires being started by radical environmentalists.
Just as the El Paso and Dayton murderers acted because they were incited, to do so, by the “Green New Deal” …. Radical environmentalism knows no borders and cares NOTHING about the atrocities that they commit.

The Amazon fires are NOT new…the only thing new is satellite views, political correctness, etc…they will burn out. Very large widespread fires have been used to clear land for centuries…and natural fires occur as well. There is plenty of archaeological and lidar photo documentation to show that much of Amazon forest was clear at one time…natives used fire extensively, as well as more modern techniques…the forest will grow back very quickly…that is the way of forest successional growth!

This is a media and progressive frenzy to find something to blame on “climate change”, etc….

Cooperation to protect towns & villages? Sure…but that is all….

Wake up world to media and social manipulation of “environmental” events…

Blithering idiot “experts” are blaming this on “deforestation”. If areas have been “deforested”, the burning would cease at those points. When farmers have been claiming land, they have utilized break fires, in order to have the fires cease … when they hit a smaller area that has been “deforested”.
Yes, forests burning, whether caused by nature or man, have been around since prior to recorded history. However, there is substantial evidence that these fires, more massive in scale, were started by rabid “environmentalists”. Just as the mass murders, perpetrated in El Paso and Dayton, were directly incited by the “Green New Deal”. Ten years until the world ends …
When will this madness cease?
