Hundreds Expected at Left-Wing Rally To Support Philly Cop Shooter

The left’s war on law, order and rule of law. A left-wing protest was planned for Friday night in North Philadelphia to support Maurice Hill, the gunman accused of shooting six Philadelphia police officers. Organizers say they expected 200 to 300 people to rally.

Hundreds expected at rally for man accused of shooting 6 Philadelphia cops

It’s the kind of thing that leave you without words.

There’s a rally planned Friday night in North Philadelphia in support of Maurice Hill, complete with a protest.

Free Maurice Hill Poster

Free Maurice Hill Poster

“Free Maurice Hill!  Africans have the right to armed self defense!” reads the flier.

It goes on with its misspelled racist literature:

“Defend African resistence!  The state is ther (sic) criminal!”

Guess who will also be there?  According to Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross, the police will be there also.  And he’s sick over it.

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner is in charge of the case. He said on Thursday that Hill will most likely face charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault, among others.

“There will be a lot of charges. These are more than enough charges so that Mr. Maurice Hill may never exit jail,” Krasner said.

Thankfully, all six officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were all released from the hospital Wednesday night.

Welcome to the cop-hating community.

The day of the shooting, police officers were taunted laughed at by a crowd of bystanders during a tense standoff in which those Philadelphia police officers were shot during a hostage situation.

And the intense events of the evening will be something they’ll remember for the rest of their lives.

Alexandria Hoff tweeted about the raucous group that laughed while officers fought to neutralize the threat and free the innocent hostages inside.

Read that again. While police officers were battling a well-armed criminal with obvious intent to cause harm… these people laughed and cheered the gunman on.

That’s the anti-police world we apparently now live in.

The suspect in the hours-long standoff on Philadelphia’s north side surrendered to authorities just after midnight Thursday, exiting the residence with his hands in the air and with a police light shining on him, surrounded by a cloud of tear gas.

The suspect surrendered just after midnight, but not before six police officers were shot. (Screenshot – YouTube)

The chaotic scene stretched on for over 7 hours as six officers were shot — and two officers and three hostages were later freed, apparently unhurt.

Three officers were rushed to Temple University Hospital, officials said.

Three other officers were taken to Einstein Hospital, at least one of them was shot in an arm. All six officers were in stable condition and treated for non-life-threatening injuries before doctors released them, Philadelphia police Sgt. Eric Gripp said.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross said the outcome “nothing short of a miracle that we don’t have multiple officers killed today. We are so thankful for that.”

Two other officers, including a police sergeant, were injured in an accident related to the emergency response and were being treated. Their injuries were believed to be non-life threatening.

The suspect was identified by unnamed police sources as 36-year-old Maurice Hill from Philadelphia.

The alleged shooter has a storied and well-documented history of gun-related convictions and of attempting to evade arrest, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Ross said two officers with the Narcotics Strike Force were serving a warrant at the multifamily home, for what may have been a drug-related offense, when things “went awry almost immediately,” and the shooter opened fire at the home. The two officers were barricaded in separate rooms with several hostages.

Officials stated that the shooter was armed with an AR-15 and several handguns.

https://twitter.com/TwitterMoments/status/1161760195183169536

Ross said many rounds of ammunition struck a SWAT vehicle and multiple buildings across the street.

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney said he’s “angry about someone having all that weaponry and all that firepower.”

Officials negotiating with the suspect tried to assure him that he would not be harmed if he surrendered, to no avail.

“We’re just trying to do as much as we can to resolve this peacefully,” Ross said while trying to end the standoff.

In another shocking twist, a local politician sat back and campaigned for donations to his political race, apparently using the shooting to raise money.

Using violence to fund your political agenda? Horrific.

Tragically, this is far from the first time we’ve seen bystanders root for suspects to kill the police.

Just a few months ago, when Sacramento Officer Tara O’Sullivan was viciously gunned down by a domestic abuse suspect, officers at the scene found themselves surrounded by neighbors celebrating the shooting.

People can be heard shouting “get your s&*( in order” and “get your lies together.”  One woman repeatedly shouts “y’all all need to be shot!” and then repeats “y’all all need to be!” several times.

“Quite frankly, it’s disgusting,” said  FOP Vice President Jay McDonald. “Officer O’Sullivan was still…had not gotten the medical attention that she needed and deserved. The law enforcement officers had to devote their attention and their resources to containing an unruly crowd, who was heckling and taunting them while one of their own lie mortally wounded.”

Another woman called two male officers “cowards,” “bastards,” and “f*&^s.” Another woman shouted a threat that she would “whoop their little butts.” As officers placed crime scene tape around a perimeter, a woman verbally assaulted them, calling them “cowards” many times.

This is a sad state to be in. Our officers deserve better than this. We deserve better than this.

In the Bavarian health resort Garmisch-Partenkirchen, an American tourist was
allowed to have an unforgettable physical experience with a “Merkel-guest” af-
ter a beer festival: the “southern” (codeword for Muslim) taxi driver raped her.

I could care less if the criminal was white, asian, or muslim. IF they shoot at Police, who tell you to STOP, then you deserve what you get. I would have arrested every single person who taunted the Police. THAT IS OBSTRUCTION.

There is something fundamentally wrong with people who do what these morons did in taunting the Police and then protesting to free the criminal, after he committed attempted murder. THEY ALL NEED BRAIN SCANS TO SEE WHAT PART OF THEIR BRAIN DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE.

REMEMBER FOLKS: they are a product of the American school system.

I HOPE THEY CONDEMN THIS CRIMINAL AND THROW AWAY THE KEY, but we all KNOW all the black leaders in the world be holding his hand and yelling ‘foul’. LIBERAL BLACKS HATE LAWS AND AUTHORITY which makes them ignorant and stoopid. Yes, there are stoopid people in ALL GROUPS, including the Police, but when you lose your ability for reasoning, THAT MAKES YOU STOOPID IN ANY GROUP.

Lawlessness! And allow me to use a non-word to describe what is happening in our society: lovelessness. Lawlessness and lovelessness. What we are witnessing with this crisis, as well as so many situations in our society, is a chronic lack of civility and responsibility. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice; and the root cause of this lawless depravity is ‘lovelessness’.

A society in which love for family and mankind is non-existent will inflict misery on everyone! These people are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless and are being used to usher in a totalitarian reign that will replace our Constitutional Republic.

“No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and Virtue is preserved. On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauched in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign Invaders.” Samuel Adams

Yes indeed, truth is timeless. And Divergent, very little is as unattractive, as distasteful, as ignorance displaying debauched Manners.

Antonio Gramsci and the Frankfurt School would be thrilled to watch the unraveling of our good and productive capitalist society, just as they planned and wished for. Destroy the family, destroy the church and on and on it goes.

I fear that all my wrestling with the thunder and lightning during the night hours has left me somewhat…melanchol (no that is not the word my mind is searching for) when it comes to the condition of our nation. I hate that this is happening to the land that we love.

Hey, there! Comments got closed on the other thread before I got back to you. Drat! Anyway, I’m with you on all you said!

As to this, the progtards are blaming the other shootings on Trump’s “hateful, divisive rhetoric”. Yet, firing upon law enforcement is somehow acceptable?? Wouldn’t it be caused by the “rhetoric” of AOC and her ilk, who on a daily basis, decry and denounce the actions of ICE and insisting that they be abolished? And wasn’t it Barack Obama who said “The Cambridge police acted stupidly” and “If I had a son, he’d look like Treyvon” and encouraging the people of Ferguson, MO in their phony “hands up, don’t shoot” charade? Yes, in the midst of the violence and window shattering and car burnings, Obama said “The Department of Justice is also consulting with local authorities about ways that they can maintain public safety without restricting the right of peaceful protest and while avoiding unnecessary escalation.” EXCUSE ME??? The place was ON FIRE!!!!

“Melancholy” does touch on the feeling, but I can’t exactly put my finger on it either. I do know that their hypocrisy is over the top.

Great comment! way…Way…WAY!!! over the top! What we are watching in these babbling – It’s Trump’s Fault – is a demonstration of amoral at its ugliest! The party of the amoral who are utterly unable to debate the issues! Their ability is limited to attack, insult, lie and destroy.

So right!…where were these guys when obama was doing exactly what they are accusing Trump of??? Have you noticed a decided lack of manliness in the men of the Democrat Party; occupied by loud, abrasive, seriously dopey women?

Elaine, the totalitarian mindset is composed of sheer irrationality, unreasonable unintelligent babble! Their ‘Tower of Babel’ is reaching into the 2nd heavens!

Oh, eassa … don’t EVEN get me started on liberal women! Why they feel the need to act so butchy and bossy in order to “prove” that they are capable of holding a position of authority is beyond me. The women’s soccer team is the quintessential example of this type of attitude. They felt they had to cuss, spit, scratch, grit their teeth, get “in your face”, growl, get drunk, and pound their chests simply because they won a competition! Whatever for?? The men’s teams don’t act like that!! Last night we saw a commercial on TV where a series of recognizable men each said “Boys will be boys”. The ad went on to say (to the effect) that we need to stop forgiving boys for bad behavior and start raising men to “respect women”. Wait a minute. There was a time when a man would rush to hold the door open for a woman, help her with her coat, pull her chair and help her be seated, and so forth. Now, as I recall, it was in the early 70s when women decided they were somehow being oppressed and started essentially saying “I can open my own door … I can pump my own gas … I don’t need you.” So, guys didn’t know how to act. Women wear clothes so skimpy they have to use tape to keep them on, then get angry if a man looks at them. And now, it’s the men who need to “learn how to respect women”??? Sorry, gals, but you threw it out the window when you had it. You brought this on yourselves. (I say “you” and “yourselves”, because I never agreed with the “women’s lib” attitude. I WANTED a guy to open my door and put gas into my car!!) And, most assuredly, it’s the women on the LEFT who act this way. The conservative women I know and see in the public arena act like LADIES! The way it should be.

Yikes, and here I said “Don’t get me started …!” Oops!

I love the Tower of Babel analogy. It’s perfect!

LOL… Yikes, it looks like I got you started! 🙂 Go ahead and tell it like it is! And I agree, it is natural for a man to be thoughtful and protective, and women to appreciate and enjoy it! The dumbing-down of the natural roles of men and women has not lead society to a good place, but rather into a dry and weary land. I wonder if things will ever right themselves or if this is the new norm? I hope humanity rebels against this unhappy state of affairs!

A perfect illustration!

When conservatism is allowed to flourish and progressivism is stifled, THAT will be the return to normalcy that we desperately need. It will happen. They will not win. We will win. Look at the millions and millions of Hong Kong citizens who have turned out to protest their oppressive government for one reason — they yearn for, and are fighting for FREEDOM. They will win.

Hey Lainey- just popped in to see how you’re healing…only to find you have a stage 5 clinger on your tail! Cross-channel stalking/harassing you- it’s his raison d’être.

As you were saying, we WILL win. Just remember: parasites require a host. They feed off your energy. Without it, they have and are nothing. Let it shrivel and fall off.

Just wanted to see how you’re doing. Back to the garden for me…I’m gonna focus on rinsing that dinglebarry right out of your hair, ha. Along with all that other, more real, pain. Thinkin’ ’bout ‘cha, lady. 🙂

Okey-dokey…as long as you’re having fun. Yes, it can be a welcome distraction…but sometimes it seems they get under someone’s skin- I couldn’t tell, TBH.

I’ve just seen this one around, for years. Gets a hold of one person and seems to try and suck the life right out of ’em.

Not just green, girrrl…healthy and thriving and Grrrrrrrrreat Again! Gotta prune the dead wood too, and work with all my little buddies- ie. ladybugs/bees/birdies/snakes, to get rid of unwanted pests!

All the while, working on that right hip of yours…it’s my metaphor, whistling away while I work. 🙂

Go get ’em, tiger. 🙂

Well, honestly, messing with them is only fun for a little while. Like rolling a marble around in a bucket, it gets old in a hurry! Yeah, they get under the skin a little bit, but it’s easy to rise above when you consider the source. I guess they’re kind of like poop … just push the handle and flush!

Your garden sounds like a labor of love, AND a work of art! All of your dedication will reap many rewards!! I’m SO looking forward to getting moved in to our new house (it’s almost finished!!!!) where we can plant vegetables and flowers and bushes and all kinds of things! I want to learn more about companion planting, such as insect-repelling plants, etc., as well as attracting ladybugs, bees, and all those glorious little creatures that work as little helpers to keep away the baddies! Much to learn!!

The hip is healing, but I’ve had a bit of a problem with the incision not wanting to close up in one little spot. There’s maybe an extra 1/8″ between the staples there, which apparently is the little difference that makes all the difference. Draining like crazy! Go back to the Doc this coming Wednesday to have staples removed. I’m thinking he might have to re-sew that little area, but the rest is coming along nicely! Pain is MINIMAL!! Loving it!

As always, your words are a spirit-lifter and morale-booster. I’m glad and thankful to have you as a friend!

Elaine, I hope and pray you are right!

It is true that as little as the Hong Kong citizens know and understand about liberty, they crave it and are willing to lay their lives and fortunes on the line. I so very much wish I could know what is really happening in Hong Kong, but my friends are too afraid to email me about it, they do understand fear of an overbearing and intrusive government!

eassa, thank you for the beautiful flowers!

We know that people are born with an inherent desire, no … need, to be free. To dominate, lord over, or enslave others is the work of a sick, perverted mind. Yet, these people exist. The fear they instill in other human beings is sinful. Awhile back, I happened to see a video of a young woman who had somehow escaped from North Korea. She could barely make eye contact as she spoke. She described the fear she suffered, in that she was convinced that “they” could actually read her thoughts. It was positively heartbreaking. I pray for the people of Hong Kong, and other areas where ruthless dictators have stolen the spirit and the very humanity of the people they seek to control.

I think President Trump is inspiring a worldwide awakening, and the oppressed of the world will rise up against their tyrannical governments. It’s happening in Hong Kong. It can happen elsewhere.

Elaine, some very strange things are occurring on Disqus this noontime! I have not been able to log-in to Disqus, and when I do, that naughty little ghost pops up, and I cannot get into Notifications. Also when I attempted to post a couple pictures to Proud 2b Greek, the reoccurring message was that I must be logged in.

It isn’t August 31st and yet, at this moment, the system is broken!

BTW, yesterday my father said they have gotten 12 inches of rain this August! Last night was the first night I was not awoken by thunder for at least a week. Have you had the same type of weather in Leavenworth? Congratulations on the new house! Landscaping will be lots of fun!

All that you have said about the yearning for freedom being in the very nature of mankind is true, and the ill effects of governments ruling with fear and threats is deeply damaging to the spirit and minds of those living in oppression.

Even within Hong Kong, where they have lived under a different system than mainland China, their personalities show an injured spirit, wrapped up in confusion. Without exception, they carry this woundedness and what is being called the Orphan Spirit with them wherever they go.

Sometimes…frequently, the manifestation of these unhappy characteristics/experiences in their lives is childishness or total lack of common sense; it seems as if their development has been so stunted that they reason as young children. Communism stripes the individual of adulthood in the fullest sense. Thus the confusion and tears that are ever near the surface.

Working with the Chinese and observing the nature and effects of their culture, I have grown to despise Communism more than you can imagine! And I want my family out of that country! It is truly unsettling knowing they are immersed in that miserably dangerous system of governance and clulture.

Thank you for posting your recovery update to lamstilllearning. 🙂

Hi, eassa! Excellent commentary on the human spirit. Having experience in dealing with the Chinese culture, you have a keen insight into the nature of Communism. I couldn’t agree more, that it is an ugly and despicable philosophy which strips people of their humanity. How on earth anyone could possibly think that there is some sense of “equality” inherent in Communism/Socialism completely escapes me. Yet, too many misguided individuals have fallen for the Great Lie. For example, look what Jane Fonda believes. Her comment is so wrong on so many levels. “Pray on your knees …”??? For Communism???? Excuse me, Miss Fonda, but Communists are generally atheists! Willful ignorance on parade. So disturbing!comment image

We’ve had similar weather here for well over a week now! Not quite as much rain, but plenty of thunder and lightning at night. Bryan Busby (channel 9) showed some incredible photos of lightning strikes taken by viewers. So beautiful, and at the same time, scary … not to mention, humbling! Nature is awesome.

I sometimes hesitate to post health updates … feeling like I’m some old codger rambling on about gout, arthritis, aches and pains, regularity and prune juice! It’s nice to know I have friends like you who are genuinely concerned. For that, I am so very grateful. All the positive vibes are a huge part of speedy recuperation!! Mmm-wah!

I’ve been sending some positive vibes and prayers for your mom as well. She (and you) are in my daily thoughts and prayers. I always welcome updates and hearing what’s going through your mind. Never hesitate!

Oh Elaine, what a beautiful skyline! Spellbound by the sky! Sunrise and sunset are works of art beyond the ability of mankind to reproduce!

What an outrageously stupid statement for Jane Fonda to make! Communism is its own god, no other gods are welcome, especially not Yahweh! Everything that is packaged within Communism is anti-God! All we have to do is observe the positions of the Democrat Party to know this!

The authorized Bible in China has removed all passages dealing with Christ’s return and his eternal Kingship; China considers this treasonous. Interestingly, many of the Chinese who visit the mission base are members of the Communist Party, and the times I have spoken to them about the evils of communism they are hearing it for the first time! It is one of those instances when a person cannot serve two masters. Usually parents see to it that their children are members of the communist Party for educational purposes and career advancement…and out of fear.

As for my mother, she used the chemo eye drops until last Saturday when she told me father they were making her feel ill again. Nothing my father could say would change her mind. She was to be administering the drops until this coming Monday when she will see her doctor. They will know the results at the time of the appointment.

According to my auntie, mother has been…cantankerous and headstrong since she was a kid! 😉 So she’s got a long track-record! lol… comment image

That picture is priceless! I completely understand that stubborn, independent streak of your mother’s … it sounds very familiar! But, without that headstrong self-will and determination, my mom wouldn’t have been who she was. Her unconditional love for my dad, brother, sister and me was equally as strong and stubborn! Those are our mothers. I’ll keep your mom in my thoughts and prayers.

We were taught the evils of Communism in grade school by way of slide shows of hollow-faced people in tattered clothing and no shoes, waiting in never-ending bread lines. We learned how Communism spreads, by way of infiltration into our government. We learned about Kruschev and Castro and what happens to the citizens under their control … and we were scared by it. Today, it’s obvious that so many people were not taught any of that! They are embracing the philosophy AND our government has been infiltrated. It’s sickening! I pray that people wake up to what’s been happening and shake off their complacency. America is too precious to let it slip through our fingers. May the Lord be with all human beings who are struggling for their freedom as we speak, and may He give them strength in their fight.

(edit: PS. It’s been lightly raining with a gentle background of low, rolling thunder … All. Day. Long!! Some sunshine, PLEASE!!)

Elaine, if it is true, that a picture paints a thousand words, then this little baby has said a mouthful! lol…

How fortunate your school explained the evils of Communism, and in grade school! The pictures the children at school gazed upon did paint the horrors of communism, and thank goodness for that. What a fantastically American curriculum you had!

It was the opposite for me, there was very little taught about other systems of governance, and when in junior high and high school the proponents of communism and other forms of tyranny slyly put forth the benefits of socialism, but I suppose that was expected in the Lawrence school district. Although I had one, and one only, exceptionally good history teacher who did an excellent job of teaching what was ignored by other “social study” teachers.

I just do not know…our government has been infiltrated to the point I have little confidence it can be peacefully solved without a great deal of effort on the part of…stubborn and cantankerous Constitutionalists, perhaps we should send our mothers to Washington and let the show begin. lol…

Just as I was finishing the above paragraph, my thumb slide across the keyboard pad and posted this comment. I have one very unruly thumb! Allow me to blame it on this miserable fever that has come to call. 😉

Well, I did attend school in a different “era”, so perhaps back in the late 50s – early 60s, when the pledge of allegiance and patriotism were the normal way of life, and the “Red Scare” was actually taken very seriously. Plus, I did attend Catholic school … taught by NUNS! (Yikes!) It’s almost surreal that the things we were frightened of and warned to be on the lookout for, are happening right before our eyes. We learned that there was only ONE source of news in Russia, and that the people were only allowed to hear what the government allowed them to hear. Lo and behold … it’s he-e-e-ere!

I used to love going to Lawrence back in my college days (early 70s), because they had all the “cool” hippie-type stores along Massachusetts, and the rest of downtown. I wasn’t an actual “hippie”, but it was fun to pretend to blend in to that culture. For some reason, it felt so grown-up. Ah, youth! At that time, politics was the farthest thing from my mind, and was definitely under the influence of naive liberalism, as are most college kids. Looking at Lawrence today … what a bastion of leftism! Amazing how actually growing up can open your eyes!

Keep up the good fight, as would our moms! You’re a gem!

Elaine, you grow up…establishing your personal and national identity by learning to revere liberty, and those who sacrificed to hand it down to the next generation and the next and the next, from the very dawning of the Republic. We were all woven together by golden threads of freedom.

How sorrowful that young people…and even people my age have no connection to that golden thread that binds.

“I used to love going to Lawrence back in my college days (early 70s), because they had all the “cool” hippie-type stores along Massachusetts, and the rest of downtown…Looking at Lawrence today … what a bastion of leftism! Amazing how actually growing up can open your eyes!”

Oh yes, Lawrence was a very pretty town, and downtown was fun to explore, especially at Christmas time. It was a nice place to grow up, with the exception of KU’s political influence on the town. If it had not been for KU, perhaps my years at school would have been more like yours.

Shortly after obama became president and began implementing his agenda, big changes came to Lawrence and its economy. The shop owners were facing a seriously worsening economy but the people kept electing Leftists who made a bad situation worse.

Some of my friends and I from Overland Park used to enjoy outings to Lawrence, buying this and that from various shops. Book stores, art galleries, sporting goods, clothing stores and gift shops scattered between cute cafes in such pleasant surroundings. Parking was a problem! However, our outings became fewer and fewer when money got tighter and tighter. The only exceptions to our spending was at the Bay Leaf, The Yarn Barn, Stitch On and a fabulous fabric store whose name I cannot remember at this moment. And eventually we stopped shopping in Lawrence altogether.

On one of my last visits to the Bay Leaf, I actually got into a discussion with a clerk and another customer about why the economy was hurting so badly. The clerk looked at me as if I was from another planet! Not too long afterwards, the Bay Leaf went out of business. Trickle down is a fact of life, a fact woven into economies, but the Leftists simply cannot or will not understand.

Downtown is littered with bars and little else, there is no reason to drive to Lawrence now. I have heard that crime is a serious problem too.

Yes, just like our mothers! 🙂 Thank you, I feel the same about you. 🙂 Perhaps I should give you my email address. I hope and pray you are improving every day. BTW, did you have to have a few addition stitches?

Beautiful PURPLE!! One of the best colors ever.

I haven’t been to Lawrence in years and years, and probably wouldn’t even know my way around any more. I have an antique wood pedestal table that I bought at a place called Quantrill’s, in about 1978. The table top and sides of the pedestal leg are inlaid with a diamond/star pattern, and it’s absolutely a work of art. It’s about my only memento of those times when it was so much fun to browse and shop downtown!

Thankfully, we have crossed paths with, and befriended people of like mind, who treasure the freedom we have and what it took to achieve it. I do believe our numbers are growing by the day, as leftism continues to bare more and more of its ugly soul.

My appointment with the doctor is in a couple of hours, so hopefully, the end is in sight! As always, your words of encouragement are so appreciated!

If you are comfortable posting your email, I would certainly be happy to have it! I will tell you that I am somewhat of a sporadic communicator. My high school “best bud” and I have concluded that our lifelong friendship is one of “low maintenance” at this point in our lives! We send Christmas and birthday cards, comfortable knowing that we’re both still kicking. Seriously, it would be terrific to be able to email you now and then!

Take care of yourself, my friend. I’ll let you know how the doctor visit went.

Hi again, sweetie! Got all the staples removed and the nurse re-bandaged the bad part. Doctor said it’s looking good, and healing beautifully. (Except … it really looks ugly!!!!) Each day, one more hurdle cleared! I start out-of-home physical therapy Wednesday the 4th. Can’t wait to be able to DRIVE again!!! One day at a time!

I love reading your comments! You are like fresh air, my friend. Love ya to pieces!

Well, much to my dismay, my incision came open again. DRAT!! Went to the doctor this morning … they taped it up again, so now I go back Wednesday to see if that worked. (It won’t). He might have to re-open that area surgically and re-stitch it below the skin. Oh, well … no horseback riding THIS week! Sigh.

Reading through your recent comment history, I noticed you replied in another thread also, but I didn’t get a notification from Disqus! See you there in a few.

Oh Elaine, let us pray for the Healer’s hand to move swiftly and bind the skin together!

I will put the horse in the meadow for a few days. 😉 Maybe something a little more tame for the time being.

Something odd has been happening the last couple days; upvotes that I have given to friends are being wiped out! During the thunderstorm last night I upvoted people that I follow, and today I discovered many, many were missing. Days worth of upvotes for several people.

It almost seems as if the downvote bot gang wants to vastly diminish the ability to receive upvotes. If I remember correctly, it is happening to Pia too. As is, it takes time to read what people post and upvote them, and then to see the upvotes given have vanished. 🙁

This evening I have a class to attend, as always it is very interesting. I will be praying for you frequently.

Elaine, years ago, when my boys were small, my husband decided to start his own company. It was a stressful time in that regard. During the difficulty of getting the business established, I spent hours praying about it and asking for help.

One night I awoke from my sleep and found that I had actually been praying in my sleep! The thought of praying in my dreams was so fascinating, it brought me such a feeling of happiness. And during the early morning hours today, I was praying for you in my sleep. 🙂

Such a pretty red rose, I can almost smell it! Speaking of fragrance, I need to go to Bath and Body Works to buy some fall fragrances for my wall plug-ins! The fall fragrances are my favorite and I usually stock up on them.

Blessings on you. 🙂comment image

Fantastic pictures! Precious…..

Then there are the other kind of men we try to avoid like the plague. Two of which spend their time flagging, downvoting and lying about me. Toss in the their female counterpart, and there is a threesome of the biggest phonies on Disqus.

@tgillespiequinn:disqus
@martypad:disqus
@disqus_YxT7LKZRpp:disqus

Cecillia could not contain herself during the final days of the channels and came at me using one of her socks. Since that time I have been aggressively flagged and downvoted, even though their downvote bot is raping me of my upvotes.

Hey lying scumbag quinn, how is the police investigation coming along after these 3 years? What is it like being such a weenie of a man that you cannot leave a woman alone who has no interest in you? Sorry for any women who have the bad judgment to be part of your life.

All three of you thugs must have one miserable life in order to spend time flagging, stalking and downvoting me…and James. Why don’t you 3 cowards talk to me and tell me why you waste your time flagging and spying on my account? Why hide yourselves from everyone using your socks to flag me? Its because you are ashamed for people on Disqus to know what spiteful, evil and hateful people you are. Come and talk to me like a man Marty! After all, you claim to be the BIG DOG on Disqus. I can completely understand why any X wife might take off and leave such as you, it is easy to imagine how miserable such a woman would be with bullying ways.

Elaine, I think I remember Quantrill’s, if it was on the backside of Massachusetts sreet beside a parking lot.
It had some great items that were cheap. I bought a couple things there in the 90s.

When I was on your profile to upvote you, a little box appeared and said I had to go to the thread to upvote, so I came to the thread. And now I see several comments that I had upvoted from my Notifications that have not been upvoted! You would not believe how long it has been taking me to get this reply posted!

What a hassle Disqus is making it to upvote! Not to mention making it more difficult to stay in contact with as many people as possible and let them know we are reading their posts! Who has the time to go to each thread to upvote a friend? I go to a thread to read conversations of various friends, but not always.

Attention Disqus: You are taking away our incentive to visit your site! It is getting more frustrating and much less fun…Fun…FUN!!!

Everything Disqus is doing makes me want to toss them in the trash! And although I logged in, 3 times there is a message telling me I should be logged in to upload an image! So now I have logged in 3 times to post this comment!

Where is Disqus getting their IT guys, 3rd world counties? Now after ranting, let me see if I can post a picture. NOPE! Logged in 3 times and can still not post a picture…Iet us hop I can post this comment turned RANT! 😉

@disqus_oR3IYOG6Fx:disqus After logging in 3 times, either I posted the comment by mistake to myself, or Disqus did. ;(

OK, I’m on your profile now, and got a proper reply box. Hmmm. I don’t know what’s going on with Disqus!! One of the reasons I stayed with this format is because it was easy, user friendly and FUN! It’s still fun, but getting weird at times. I noticed similar activity at Yahoo mail … that their IT people would rather make little sparkly things appear when you “star” something, make little spider webs with a spider dropping down during October, and make little snowflakes cascade down the screen during December … than actually improve the function of their email system. Like big kids with new toys are running the joint! It’s rather maddening! It would be fine with me if they would just leave it alone!! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Bored millennials???

***
Yes! That’s exactly where Quantrill’s is/was! What a fun place to go find unique things! I doubt it’s still there, but this brings back some good memories. Fun times!

This reply box has the little gizmo for posting a picture. I’ll try it.

LOL… Great ‘winking clip’! Sometimes I feel the need to wink just like this, but for a different reason. I have been blessed with very long eye lashes, but with that blessing comes a curse of sorts: the lashes get in a tangle and end up poking my eye. A couple times it required the eye doctor’s expertise at untangling the lashes, and her advice was to wear mascara in order to keep the lashes tame. Doing that has helped, only it is a pain to remove the mascara!

One item I bought at Quantrills was framed human hair artwork that was once commonly done. There is no easy way to describe how pretty this old form of artwork is, but the women would design a figure wearing clothing of satin and lace and dainty satin flowers, quite intricate. Then human hair would be used for the head of the flat fabric doll. I was told that a girl or woman would clip her hair and use it in this doll artwork and it was often a gift given to friends and loved ones as a remembrance. My doll has a pretty bonnet with ringlets of human coming out from under the bonnet.

Disqus was indeed designed to be user friendly, until the new owners stepped in and ignored the channels. I will probably post on a few sites on Disqus, also at Realms and I have found 3 sites where I may post on faith based issues, or even open my own blog.

Soon I am going to give tutoring a try at the most failing school districts in the KC, Mo. It is part of a work the mission base has begun. The students are so lacking in basic skills, and the schools are so desperate for help, so I am hoping I can use the material that I used when homeschooling my son.

Other friends of mine have complained about Yahoo. I use gmail and it has been user friendly, and simply to use. To communicate with family in China, we use Protonmail. Supposedly it is the most secure of all the options, but it is not designed as simply as gmail. China has blocked gmail in the mainland because gmail would not go along with all of China’s demands. We all know it is China’s way or the highway. 😉

Well, despite the “curse” part accompanying your gorgeous eyelashes … I still have “lash envy”! I don’t care what the mascara ads say, you just can’t make short eyelashes LONG! They just get globby. Sigh.

I’ve never seen human hair artwork. What an intriguing medium! I can only imagine how lovely the dolls are … crafted during a time when things moved more slowly, and judicious use of materials and attention to detail were a way of life. What a beautiful reminder of a kinder, simpler time!

I didn’t realize Disqus was under new ownership. That explains a lot! When I was a lowly Pizza Hut employee decades ago, we (the rank and file) would dread when a new manager would come in. They always wanted to “change” things!

OMGoodness, eassa! You would be such a fantastic tutor!! The public schools have fallen incredibly short in providing basic learning, not just in our area but nationwide. Way too much emphasis on social skills, not enough basic grammar, math, history, etc.! I know you will do a tremendous job – not only in tutoring at the schools, but in homeschooling your son. I was SO glad that Quinton Lucas defeated Jolie Justus for KC mayor, but remain curious to see if he will be good for the community, or just another “lesser of two evils”.

It’s good to know that you can at least communicate with family members in China, albeit in a somewhat limited fashion. I pray for the people who are struggling for their freedom!

Mumia should have been executed. Let’s right a wrong here. Execute Hill and Mumia together. Public hanging. Make it a PPV event like Wrestlemania. Proceeds to benefit family members of officers who were murdered by other savages.

Grace Joy, a few of her recent lies.

Muslims are rapists and pedophiles – any prove? In fact rape is more prevalent in America
Muslims are taking over Europe – the EU says they make up 2% of members and Muslims have been in Europe for hundreds of years
Islam is a death cult – why, where?
Islam is here to take over – they still have minorities in their own countries, would they not have started their first?
Arabs invaded the Holy Land – the indigenous people of the region are Arabs. No other branch of the Caucasian race has been found there. Yes, Jesus was an Arab, as were Jews of the region and those that came before them – Canaanites! They converted – first to Judaism, then Christianity, then Islam. C’est la vie!
Islam is, “psychopathic ideology of war & conquest” – when? Never!
Violent crime has rocketed in Europe because of the “invading” Muslims. Silly comment as what is recorded today as a violent crime is very different to a few years ago. Example – today in Sweden basically anything from squeezing a ladies backside to actual rape is recorded under “Rape”. Actual physical rape in Sweden remains below American levels. Homicide is the only fair comparison as dead after all is dead. W Europe’s homicide rate has been stable for a century – America’s is invariably is five to ten times higher in a good year.
There are no-go zones all over the EU – liar! Aside from avoiding Bermondsey on a Saturday afternoon in the football season it is way safer than an American city.
London has a higher homicide rate than NY – London’s worst rate ever is 2.7/100,000. NY’s lowest ever is 3.4. London is the worst city in England, America’s worst is St. Louis – about 25 times worse than London.
Muslims are slaughtering Christians and Jews in their countries – where, when? Christian numbers are growing in Iran.
Sharia Law is coming to America – Sharia Law only exists in one nation, the rest use a mixture of Sharia and civil like we use Biblical and civil.
Democrats want “open borders” – no party’s policy today or since WWII. Yes, it was then as America was desperate for folk in factories.
The Quran condones violence – only in defense. Academically the Bible is more violent.
Soros is a leftie/commie/libtard/Democrap – well technically he’s a plutocrat and funds both parties.
Jews were forced out of Arab nations? Well they chose to go, but still remain in most of those nations – thousands in Iran with the protection of the Ayatollah. Palestinian population 1947 – 2 million. 630,000 Jews. Half a million blow-in’s, mostly European in the previous 16 years. 800,000 Palestinian Muslims and Christians pushed out of their homeland!
Hitler was a socialist – no reputable reference has supported this idiocy since 1938.
Democrats are fascists – Hitler and Mussolini were fascists. Far right, ultra-nationalistic, ultra conservative is fascist ideology. Democrats are slightly to the right of center.

Grace Joy is NaziScum!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grace Joy lives on a diet of lies, hate and blame – the same rhetoric as Hitler!

Like the EU’s social collapse.

The British, French and German police completed their muslim diversity sensitivity training long ago.

They understand now that muslims are merely practicing their religious freedom, as enshrined in the koran, that permits sexual slavery, rape, forced conversion, assault, murder and genocide!

The police stand aside now, smile and applaud with a quiet opera clap of approval.

However, patriots like Tommy Robinson that expose the truth are arrested and jailed.

From Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Pennsylvania ( Aug 15. 2019 ):

“What I witnessed last night was true heroism by the Philadelphia police. But the crisis was precipitated by a stunning disrespect for law enforcement – a disrespect so flagrant and so reckless that the suspect immediately opened fire on every single officer within shooting distance. Only by the grace of God did they survive.

Where does such disrespect come from?

There is a new culture of disrespect for law enforcement in this City that is promoted and championed by District Attorney Larry Krasner – and I am fed up with it.

It started with chants at the DA’s victory party – chants of ‘F*** the police’ and ‘No good cops in a racist system.’

We’ve now endured over a year and a half of the worst kinds of slander against law enforcement – the DA routinely calls police and prosecutors corrupt and racist, even ‘war criminals’ that he compares to Nazis.

This vile rhetoric puts our police in danger. It disgraces the Office of the District Attorney. And it harms the good people in the City of Philadelphia and rewards the wicked.

… We have plenty of criminal laws in this City – but what we don’t have is robust enforcement by the District Attorney. Instead, among other things, we have diversionary programs for gun offenses, the routine downgrading of charges for violent crime, and entire sections of the criminal code that are ignored.

…. District Attorney’s [ criminally guilt of { my words } ] lawlessness. But it is now time for the District Attorney and his enablers to stop making excuses for criminals. It is time for accountability. It is time to support law enforcement and to put the good people of this City first.” …. — U.S. Attorney, William M. McSwain.

( Shadow State officials, lawless men {and women} like D.A. Krasner, some of whom were sown like dragon’s teeth under Obama regime, help explain loss of respect and healthy fear of Law Enforcement. These ultra liberal-types are undermining Law & Order in the land. Freedom & Liberty will be the direct casualty, if trend is not seriously arrested. )

Philadelphia is called “The City of Brotherly Love”

…because it was founded by folks who followed the Quaker religion (actually called the Society of Friends). These people were pacifists and dedicated to peace and love. They actually openly and honestly bought land from the Native Americans. They were also the first organized group in the Thirteen Colonies to oppose slavery.

Blacks, Leftists and muslims have destroyed that!

Pamela always manages to surprise me with some of her items. Yet I wonder why I keep being surprised by the low estate of our political and social life. This item is so offensive because I am so naive as to think that that troubled community in Philly would rise up with one voice to thank the cops and cry out for this pathetic violent excrescence to be permanently removed from their midst. Yet instead many will show up to vilify the POLICE! It’s unbelievable. And those who show up will not, I expect, be ostracized by others who know their “point of view.” There won’t be protestors against the protestors.
God have mercy on us all.

It’s a special, privileged segment of Philly. There are other sections that don’t have these problems. But to say / intimate that FACT would be raaacist.
