UK is under siege but the police can’t carry guns. Nuts. A police officer is “seriously injured” after suffering a “frenzied” and “shocking” attack in east London, during which he was stabbed a number of times with a machete.
Police say ‘part of job to be assaulted’ in Sadiq Khan’s London.
Exclusive footage obtained by the Sun Online shows the suspect, 56, struggling with cops after the “frenzied, unprovoked” attack unfolded in Leyton, East London overnight.

This is the moment passers-by rush to save a hero policeman after a man with a machete knife him in the head and body in a ‘frenzied attack’ as he tried to protect himself with a taser.
A huddle of police officers can be seen next to their fallen comrade, desperately trying to stop him bleeding to death after a ferocious machete attack.
Just a few feet away – officers have pinned the attacker to the ground.
Another image shows a policeman holding the horrifying 12in blade that was used in the onslaught.
Yesterday witnesses told of the ferocity of the assault on the innocent policeman, in his 30s and who has served with the Met for ten years.
One 32-year-old woman who saw the stabbing and its aftermath said: ‘His head was completely open, it looked like the guy had tried to scalp him.

In graphic scenes, passers-by were filmed rushing to save the heroic policeman as officers pinned his attacker to the ground
Quick-thinking citizens can be seen holding up material to the policeman’s head in a desperate attempt to stop the flow of blood
The brave passers-by work with emergency personnel to deliver first aid to the victim
An officer on the scene is filmed opening a first aid kit to provide first response medical care to the injured officer before he is rushed to hospital in an ambulance
‘I heard banging and screaming outside so ran to the window and saw the policeman with the stab wounds in the head.
‘It was incredible, he was on the ground but was able to Taser the guy. He was on his hands and knees but was zapping him. What a tough guy, amazing.
‘I think he realised he was bleeding heavily and badly injured so rolled over on to the ground after a while. Then another police car came. The police jumped on the attacker, pinning him down but… he was still screaming and resisting.
‘They had to get their knees on him to stop him wriggling free. There was so much blood on the road. I’m astonished he has survived this.’
Neighbour Shabaz Choudry said: ‘The guy came from the back from his truck and stabbed him in his hand. It was like a sword.’
Another witness described the officer screaming as he was attacked, saying: ‘The guy just launched himself at the cop, hacked at his face completely out of nowhere. I’m in shock.
More emergency services personnel appear on the scene and treat the officer who is covered in blood

Residents in the area took to Twitter to share images of the scene as the officer appears to be treated

People in the area posted photos on Twitter of Midland Road (pictured above) where police had cordoned off the area
Graphic pictures posted on Twitter appear to show the injured officer seconds after fighting off the knifeman, on his hands and knees, blood pouring from his face as he stared in shock at the wounds in the hand in which he had held his Taser. A number of onlookers rushed to help.
Within minutes more than ten officers and paramedics had arrived to help the policeman as he lay motionless, with parts of his uniform cut off and lying on the ground next to him.
Witness, Muhammad Faisal, 31, said: ‘We saw someone lying on the road. We didn’t see the wound, but we saw a lot of blood.
‘I saw one police officer was holding a knife. It was a machete – around a foot long.’
Mr Faisal said he prayed for the officer’s survival, adding: ‘The first thought was maybe the man lying on the floor had lost his life.
‘It makes you think because it was a police officer – people on the road for our safety.
Residents in the area took to Twitter to share images of the scene, as blue lights lit up the street and police are seen on scene at the incident
After back up was called to the area officers can be seen stood around as someone is treated

Merely a cultural misunderstanding? Mental problems? How long will the police search for a motive?
When there are savages like this running loose the police need to be armed with guns to protect themselves and others . This Mohammedan should have been put down on the spot like the rabid dog he is. Moslems have no place in a civilized society and this just goes to prove it.

The time has arrived for forward thinking nations to see the EU and the UN for the unworkable and outdated institutions that they are and form another mass alliance with countries we can trust to count on in dire emergencies. Too many backstabbers at the UN. And while we’re at it we might as well scrap NATO as they are guilty of much the same things and most of them don’t even pay their way.

Many people of the countries would feel not supported if USA stopped helping them with NATO. They would stop supporting the left governments to get the support back. The EU offered no protection and the UN has shown its support for the EU. What is the purpose of NATO when the EU lets the real enemy in. EU is just a parasite.

The authorities have stated that they do not believe that this unprovoked attack was ‘terrorist’ related. Likely not but it WAS an attack by a lone wolf ‘Slime who got caught breaking the law against a largely defenseless and uniformed policeman. Hope he gets sorted out by the inmates when he goes to jail.

Like a trooper the cop managed to relax and remember instructions from his superiors on police graduation day which are: If Attacked by a Muslim you must apologize for making him so mad that he stabbed you. Then if the Muslim requests a hummer you are not obligated to give him one But it helps and is preferred but not essential

While the UK police aren’t allowed firearms, can they at least have some kind of knife resistant headgear and perhaps some kind of knife resistant body armor.
I’m really surprised they can get any recruits, since the police say it’s part of the job to be assaulted.

Police have worn stab vests since at least 1995 Steven, but of course they don’t protect the belly or head.
The answer is to stay six foot back {so as to have room to deploy taser}. The perp was stopped because after a number plate check, he had no insurance for the van he was driving {it was reported}.
