Trump: ‘This Was Treason’ — ‘This Should Never Be Allowed to Happen to Our Country Again’

In an interview with Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity, his first since former special counsel Robert Mueller testified before the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees, President Donald Trump decried the Mueller “fake witch hunt.”
Story continues below advertisementHannity asked Trump about the importance of determining the origins of the special counsel probe, to which Trump argued this should not be allowed to happen to another president and likened it to “treason.”
“This should never happen to another president of the United States again,” Trump said on Thursday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity.” “This is an absolute catastrophe for our country. This was a fake witch hunt, and it should never be allowed to happen to another president again. This was treason. This was high crimes. This was everything as bad a definition as you want to come up with. This should never be allowed to happen to our country again.”

– remember, there is the separation of powers
– between the judiciary and the executive branch
– and that means Trump can appoint the AG
– but he cannot control, in any way, the activities of the AG or judiciary
– [that’s what Obama did – he got the AG and judiciary to punish Trump]
– therefore, Trump can send a criminal complaint – as any citizen can
– but he has no control over what the AG does with it

Wrong. He has full authority to order the AG to pursue criminal indictments. The putative independence of the Justice Dept is not a fact of law. Bill Barr is just another treasonous SOB which is why the Usual Suspects aren’t hanging for Treason and Sedition.

Uh no. You confuse what you’ve been told and what’s reality. Felonies have been committed beyond any lenient standard of probable cause. It’s not about ‘tone’. You don’t understand the system of ordered liberty you live in. Abraham Lincoln executed 4 Seditionists in his Administration with a fraction of the present evidence against the Usual Suspects.
Separation of Powers applies to Congress v President v Judiciary. It does NOT apply vis a vis the Justice Dept which is an Executive Dept. Nor is there statute that gives them independence. ((The United States Department of Justice (DOJ), also known as the Justice Department, is a federal executive department of the U.S. government, responsible for the enforcement of the law and administration of justice in the United States, equivalent to the justice or interior ministries of other countries.))
And yes, you can’t read at all, because the US Code specifically includes definitions of Treason, Sedition, Perjury, Dereliction, Violation of Oath of Office and Misprision of a Felony. ALL OF WHICH apply here. So damn well yes, felonies have been committed and the President damn well has the ABSOLUTE authority under our Constitution to ORDER the AG to purse appropriate charges. Why? Because it is an Executive Dept! Then Due Process takes over and the bastards can see their day in Court.

I really hope something is done about this. We keep hearing something will happen and it never does. I don’t know if they just want to be very sure they have plenty of evidence, if they are waiting until closer to the elections or if they are going to let us down again.
Maybe everyone has seen this, but if you haven’t it’s worth a look. I thought it was hilarious.

I am an Englishman living in Londonistan, a white Brit who is now in a minority in my own capital city. I hope president Trump does due diligence on our new Prime Minister’s character.
Personally I wouldn’t trust him as far as I cam spit. If he gets us out of the EU on 31/10/19 then I will be very happy and, the job done, get rid of this dishonest cheat and install a man of character in his place.
I’d like to see John Redwood as premier, but any names I mention won’t mean much to my American friends. Just don’t expect any display of moral fibre from Johnson, who is, aside from his stance on Brexit, mostly quite left-leaning. He’s in favour of a plus million amnesty for illegals. That’s a lot of people for a country with one fifth of your own population.
Many of us over here are predicting another betrayal like the ones we became used to from the treacherous May.
