In the 1960’s America’s Jews provided indispensable help to America’s black community, by helping to get the Civil Right Act passed in 1964. Today, Israel’s Jews are providing indispensable help to black people in Africa as well. In fields such as medicine, security, agriculture, and water, Israel’s assistance has saved the lives of millions of people across the continent of Africa.
That is why it is an utter disgrace for civil rights icon John Lewis to co-sponsor the pro-BDS (boycott the Jews) resolution against Israel, at the behest of the jihad caucus. Lewis is aligning with people who represent black slave masters, murders, and rapists. It shows that John Lewis is not only a corrupt fraud, but he is also a blithering idiot.
Israel has saved the lives of more black people in the last three years than John Lewis and the entire far-Left Congressional Black Caucus could ever dream of doing in their entire lifetimes.

Top 22 ways Israel aided Africa in last three years
In the years since then, the Foreign Ministry’s MASHAV, Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation, has not only kept that promise, with myriad projects primarily in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Senegal, South Sudan and Uganda, but private Israeli companies and nonprofit organizations have also pitched in.

As ISRAEL21c has reported, companies and organizations of all shapes and sizes have lent their expertise and people-power to improve life in Africa. To top this off, Israeli agencies such as IsraAID consistently send relief teams to alleviate food and medical emergencies in countries including Kenya and South Sudan.
MASHAV Director of Policy Planning Ilan Fluss tells ISRAEL21c that as a small country of only eight million people, Israel can’t invest as much in African aid as larger countries can. However, measuring impact in terms of results puts Israel in a singularly impressive light. “We are constantly making more programs and more partnerships,” he says.
Two new projects were announced this year: Grand Challenges Israel (GCI) and the Israeli-German Africa Initiative.
GCI is part of a global program to support technological and innovative approaches to public health and food security in developing countries. Israeli researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs can apply for GCI grants to tackle problems in public health and food security, and introduce their innovations to this growing market.

Helping blacks in the ’60’s did not win Jews many friends among blacks and no lasting good will. I see no reason to think these efforts will win friends and lasting good will in Africa. I imagine it will kindle envy instead. It just shows African blacks how ignorant and backward they are and how far behind they are and what the Jews have = target for envy. It is a general rule that the more you get to know someone, the less you come to like them. So often true.

Actually, many Sub-Saharan Africans (unlike some African-Americans) are extremely pro-Israel, according to some of the polls, even more so than many Europeans.

Louis Farrakhan is the one most responsible for injecting antisemitism in the black community. then there’s Al Sharpton. and director Spike Lee. they did most of their damage in the 1990s.

(in Malcolm X, Mr Lee doesn’t even mention Farrakhan, who was the one who called for the death of Malcolm X.).

The comedy show “In Living Color” on the Fox Network (Not the Fox News division) made Farrakhan into a funny likable hero in their skits.
(“In Living Color” was the black version of Saturday Night Live in the 1990s).

This black man learned, more than 35 years ago, that most black politicians have little interest in the welfare of ‘our people’ here in the homeland-much less around the globe.
Just look at the dire and depressing conditions of their districts: Maxine Waters is Exhibit A.
John Lewis is no leader but, simply, a follower who seeks to maintain personal political power and enrich himself-as they all do.
Just examine the fortunes they’ve amassed after leaving office as opposed to their earnings prior: Witness Barack Hussein Obama (even though he isn’t black) and other mealy-mouthed politicians who are and end up either disgraced or in prison-where Barry should be-due to greed and corruption.
Besides, John Lewis hasn’t exactly been touted as being ‘the brightest bulb in the lamp.’
What do these cowardly, unprincipled and insidiously-corrupt people care about how much Israel helps Africans when they care so precious little about their own suffering constituency?
