Massive Iranian-Americans March in D.C., Call for Regime Change in Iran: ‘Down with Terrorist Regime in Iran’

34

I removed the passages in this Breitbart piece enthusiastically promoting MEK – The People’s Mujahedeen of Iran, commonly known as the Mujahedeen-e-Khalq or MEK.

Iranian activist Amil Imani explains:

MEK is a notorious Iranian resistance group; it was once listed as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) by the United States for its alleged killing of U.S. personnel in Iran during the 1970s, and for its ties to former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein. This group receives funds from many sources, including Saudi Arabia.

Story continues below advertisement

MEK also began a multiyear, multimillion-dollar lobbying campaign to remove itself from the terrorist list, including possible financial rewards to American political figures like Rudy Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, Howard Dean, MG Paul E. Vallely, John Bolton and others.

Recognizing the group’s rejection of violence, the State Department delisted the MEK in late 2012, but voiced ongoing concerns about its alleged mistreatment of its members.

Many of these former high-ranking US officials – who represent the full political spectrum – have been paid tens of thousands of dollars to speak in support of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) or MEK. Ironically, these heavy weight politicians never talk about MEK’s violent and anti-American past history, but they refer to them as ‘freedom fighters’ with “values just like us,” as democrats-in-waiting ready to serve as a vanguard of regime change in Iran. Why?

Aside from monetary rewards, some argue that the MEK has provided invaluable information to the US about the Iranian nuclear sites. OK, great! But does this automatically make them freedom fighters, ready to switch places with current mass murderers who have been holding onto power with their fists? Hardly!! Exchanging one Islamist group with another is not a change at all: it’s lunacy!

The number of fees being paid to these officials is vague, but judging by the money handed to certain individuals, the total could well be in the millions. For example, former governor of Pennsylvania, Edward G. Rendell  was allegedly paid $150,000 for seven or eight speeches, Elaine Chao (confirmed) as President Trump’s transportation secretary, received $50,000 in 2015 for a five-minute speech according to reports. Giuliani, who spoke at a conference in Paris, France on behalf of Iranian resistance figures alongside 18 other international guests, has been known to charge up to $100,000 for a single appearance and sometimes demands private jets to charter him to appearances and much more.

More here.

Iranian-Americans March in D.C., Call for Regime Change in Iran: ‘Down with Terrorist Regime in Iran’

Ny Kyle Morris, Breitbart, June 22, 2019:

Thousands of Iranian-Americans took to the streets of Washington, DC, on Friday to march and voice their support for those seeking regime change in Iran, an issue that past presidential administrations have seemed to avoid.

The bi-partisan Free Iran Rally, which began at the U.S. State Department and concluded outside of the White House, was run by the Organization of Iranian American Communities – USA and featured many prominent political voices.

Prominent speakers at the event included retired four-star general and former Vice Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army General Jack Keane, former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, former Sen. Robert Torricelli, California Republican Congressman Tom McClintock, and Democrat California Congressman Brad Sherman.

The rally attendees were also addressed by a pre-recorded message from Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the National Council of Resistance to Iran.

“When the mullahs are not held accountable and do not pay a price for their actions, they become more emboldened and intensify their belligerence,” Rajavi stated in her address. “Launching Katyusha missiles in Mosul and Basra and the missile attack against a U.S. drone are very telling examples of this fact.”

As he took to the stage, Gen. Keane commended the Trump administration’s ability to “put Iran on notice.”

“2018 was a major turning point for Iran. The U.S. pulled out of the nuclear deal and for the first time in 39 years, put Iran on notice,” Keane stated as he addressed the crowd. “Using proxies must stop. Building ballistic missiles must stop. Spreading terrorism must stop. And you must stop repressing your people.”

The U.S. has imposed the toughest sanctions against the Iranian regime in 39 years,” Keane continued. “The U.S. designated the IRGC as a terrorist organization … Iran’s economy is in recession. The currency is devaluing. Unemployment is skyrocketing. There’s a food shortage. And the people of Iran are correctly blaming the mullahs.”

He added, “There has never been a time when an American president has been so committed to fundamental change in Iran.”

Keane went on to list some of the regime’s terroristic behavior towards U.S. troops in the Middle East.

Both United States Reps. McClintock and Sherman offered their support for regime change in Iran.

“As the tyranny of the mullahs has become more extreme, the international resistance has become more resolute,” McClintock said. “Iran has been oppressed and plundered by a gang of thugs who have appointed themselves as the rulers of the country. Their claim to power is illegitimate and their time is approaching. Their desperation is showing at home and abroad.”

Sherman stated that the fight for regime change would be a chapter “written by Iranians.”

“We stand in solidarity with brave Iranians who are fighting for a new chapter in the history of this great nation. This chapter will be written by Iranians,” Sherman explained. “This regime may be on its last legs. It is acting with desperation to distract people from its corruption.”

In his speech, former New Jersey Sen. Robert Torricelli claimed that mullahs cannot be changed.

“Terrorists don’t reform,” Torricelli stated firmly. “The reality is the mullahs will never change, they will develop nuclear weapons, they will spread terror. We need regime change and we need it now.”

In an interview with Breitbart News, Delaram Ahmady, a young Iranian-American whose father was imprisoned in Iran for seven years due to his support for the MEK, discussed how regime change is need.

After her father was released from prison, Ahmady says her father faced “constant harassment,” and he eventually decided to move his family to America.

Ahmady, who considers herself “lucky” to have escaped from the regime, also discussed the recent executions of her father’s cellmates and said she has a “responsibility” to “show solidarity with the people of Iran.”

“The chances of regime change, I think, are definitely growing as the years go on,” Ahmady said in regards to Iran. “The youth are becoming more empowered, they’re becoming more organized.”

After the speeches concluded, the Iranian-Americans in attendance began their march to the White House. Along the path, chants of “Down with terrorist regime in Iran” and “Rajavi yes, mullahs no; they are terrorists, they must go” could be heard ringing from the streets.

Powerful signage at the event included phrases like “STOP Executions in Iran” and “Designate Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.”

Iranian-Americans March in D.C., Call for Regime Change in Iran: ‘Down with Terrorist Regime in Iran’

Wrongful executions, which have drastically grown over the years, have been a focal point for many of those seeking regime change in Iran.

America is now an oil exporter. There is no longer a strategic reason to be in the middle east. Let Japan, China and the EU take over as babysitters to that part of the world.

There is a strategic reason, to stop the funding and spread of terrorism (Islam). That’s the lesson we learned on 9/11. If you ignore a cancer it grows and becomes a threat to your survival.

China does not tolerate any religion unless it is under their totalitarian control and approval. That’s where totalitarian Islam has met its match.

The PRC also enabled the muslum genocide of upwards of 2.5 million Hindus in Bangladesh in the 1970’s, because when India unilaterally invaded Bangladesh to stop the carnage the f’ing ChiComs threatened direct military intervention unless India withdrew its forces (which India did).

If Islam = terrorism then why do we pretend that Islam is a religion with some sort of protected status? Whey do we allow Muslims into our country?…all Muslims are either potential terrorists or provide shelter and support for terrorists in the cause of their first loyalty, i.e., Islam.

If the dishonest neologism “islamist” is acceptable why not nazist? Fact is, wherever the f’ing muslum vermin gain power freedom and liberty die, WITHOUT exception (incl. places like Dearbornistan, Michigan). While Sisi is better than Morsi in Egyptistain, Coptic Christians are STILL being persecuted, because “moderate” state-sanctioned persecution is still persecution.

If we were smart we’d topple all Islamic regimes and turn them into secular-democracies. In Egypt we should put the Christians in power and give them guns for self-defense and the military to transform the state.

Afterall all these nations used to be Christian, Hindu, Atheist, Buddhist, etc before the Muslims came along and stole their countries.

So we would be righting a historical wrong and Muslims have proven themselves to be terrible leaders. Minorities under their rule suffer tremendously, that must end.

The Coptic Christians used to be the majority in Egypt and they had their own language (i.e. the Coptic language), which the teaching of has been criminalized in Egyptistain. Like in all muslum cuntries, the Coptic Christians are being ethnically cleansed.

Well said Pam and Amil, the MEK is not who we should be backing. It is like replacing an ISIS regime with the Taliban. We can only end this vicious cycle by putting Christians/Secularists in power that are hand-picked by us.

Only by introducing western secular laws like that in the US (which really are the best in the world), that Iran can finally be transformed from an Islamic-cancer state to another democracy like ours. First your change the leadership, then they’ll change the country.

No more Muslims in power, anywhere. Otherwise we’ll be at war against them in a decade or so.

Trump gets Muslims to rescue Muslims:
Kushner to launch $50 billion economic plan at Bahrain
Jun 22, 2019 Debkafile.com

“A $50 billion global investment in a global investment fund to lift the Palestinian and neighboring Arab economies will be launched at the Bahrain conference, President Trump’s adviser Jared Kushner told Reuters on Saturday. It covers 179 infrastructure and business projects, including a $5 billion transport corridor linking the West Bank and Gaza and building up the Palestinian tourist sector. More than half will be spent in the Palestinian territories over 10 years and the rest split between Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and the Sinai Peninsula. The Palestinians are boycotting the Bahrain summit and the Trump peace plan. Kushner said some Palestinian business executives have confirmed their participation in the conference, but he declined to identify them. The Trump administration hopes that other countries, principally wealthy Gulf states, and private investors, will foot much of the bill, Kushner told Reuters.”
————————
The ambitious economic revival plan, the product of two years of work by Kushner and other aides, would take place only if a political solution to the region’s long-running problems is reached.

Here we go again…thinking of helping one group of ‘bad’ Muslims (anyone proud to call themselves a Muslim is a believer of Islam which is bad) who are fighting against another group of ‘worse’ Muslims. That never ends well for us dirty filthy kaffirs who are tricked into thinking we are helping the cause of FREEDOM. We are only shifting power among the Muslims who have an embedded hatred for us infidels. We are simply being used. The only “Freedom Fighters” that America should even consider helping in the Muslim world are those who chant “DOWN WITH ISLAM” or any Christian revolt—but the latter never happens because Christians are not militaristic in defending their religion. Those days of the Crusades are long gone.

The definition of FREEDOM FIGHTERS were the Hungarians during the 1956 Revolution who wanted to rid themselves in toto of the Communist Soviet regime…and America didn’t even lift one finger to help them because they didn’t want to go to war with the Soviet Union. ISLAM = Communism = Fascism. None of these ideologies have anything to do with the cause of FREEDOM. Yes, in WWII we allied with the evil Soviet Union to fight a worse evil of Hitlerian Nazism…but at least we were able to crush Hitler’s Nazism and free those in concentration camps. We will never see a lasting “victory” of any sort for shedding American blood in any war between Muslims. Islam will still be the guiding principle of their society.

Muslums lie like like rugs and hudna treaties sacralised, anyone who puts their trust in muslums spewing carp like this is naive or spreading islamic propaganda.

Jews are still officially prohibited from visiting the holey kingdom of Soddy Barbaria and El Al flights prohibited from landing there (or in Jordan).
Jordan’s constitution still forbids Jews from ever being citizens. Also wearing “Jew clothes” and publicly performing Jewish prayers or rituals at Jewish holy sites in Jordan is dangerous:

The so-called “Palestinians” are being herded by Trump and Bibi. We all know they will reject the deal. The $60 Billion in development funds is the carrot, but Trump always carries a big stick, and that is if the Palestinians do not agree as required Trump will recognize Israel’s annexation of Samara and Judea and there will no longer be an “occupation.” There will no longer be a “Palestinian Authority,” and, as expected, there is an uprising, it will be crushed, and the “Palestinians” who do not cooperate sent to Muslim lands where they can dwell in peace under the care of the Saudi and Egyptians or whoever takes the money to accept them. Its game over, folks, in the Middle East, The solution has been formulated and the plan will be executed in the next year. 70 years of constant bloodshed is about to come to a close.

“70 years of constant bloodshed is about to come to a close.”
– yes, and that is a good thing
– I think Trump is wise to do this
– before dropping the hammer in any deal
– it is best to offer a rational and workable compromise
– because when they reject that, they lose all bargaining power
– and Trump comes across as being ultra-rational and fair
– and in this case I think Trump IS being rational and fair

Folks, Pamela is 100% correct. MEK are a collection of Communists originally sponsored by the Soviet Union who have assumed a mantle of respectability in the past decades. They are not the alternative to the mad mullahs. Its’ likely they will continue the same policies. Th e only legitimate government is the restoration of the Pahlavi monarchy.
