Rats and typhoid at the police station, filth on L.A. streets — scenes from the collapse of a city that’s lost control

58

This is absolutely disgraceful. Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Oakland are infested with crime, homelessness, and poverty. This is what a one-party system dominated by the Left looks like. This is what the Democrats will do to the rest of America if they are not stopped by President Trump.

California was once a reliably Republican and prosperous state. It was the home of Presidents Nixon and Reagan. However, the Democrats were able to successfully transform California’s electorate in the last 35 years. As a result, the Democrats now dominate California politics at all levels, which has enabled radical Leftist governors such as Gray Davis, Jerry Brown and now Gavin Newsom to inflict massive damage on the once great state of California.

The Democrats want open boarders so that America’s other 49 states resemble California, giving the Democrat Party a permanent majority that they now enjoy in California. The Democrats must not just lose in 2020: they must be routed.

Why L.A. County’s homelessness crisis has been decades in the making

By: The Los Angeles Times, Gale Holland, June 5, 2019:

Homelessness policy in Los Angeles has been marked by fits and starts over the years — often centered on skid row and downtown, although Hollywood, Venice and the San Fernando Valley have long had their own problems.

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority reported that the number of people living in shelters, in vehicles and on L.A. County’s streets increased by about 12% over last year.

The annual point-in-time count, delivered to the Board of Supervisors, put the number of homeless people just shy of 59,000 countywide. Within the city of Los Angeles, the number soared to more than 36,000, a 16% increase.

People left behind by the economic recovery can’t compete with young professionals who have bid up rents to record levels. In another era, those Angelenos might have found refuge in crumbling hotels and tenements. But many of those buildings were lost in the city’s post-recession spree of building, evictions and renovations.

Los Angeles -- where the bulk of the county's homeless population resides -- saw a 16% rise in homelessness.

Mitch McConnell And Chao: As Corrupt As The Clintons
Posted at 3:30 pm on March 19, 2018 By Joe Cunningham

Forgive the large chunks of text, but there is a point to all this. Here’s a piece:

In 2004, current Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his wife, current US Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, had an average net worth of $3.1 million. Ten years later, that number had increased to somewhere between $9.2 million and $36.5 million.

One source of the windfall, according to a new book from Peter Schweizer, was a 2008 gift from Chao’s father, James Chao, for somewhere between $5 million and $25 million. But this gift could be seen as more than just a gift. It may have been acquired, according to Schweizer, thanks to the couple’s fealty to China, the source of the Chao family fortune. And that fealty may have occurred at the expense of the nation they had pledged to serve.

Now, diving a little bit further into it, here’s a relevant bit on McConnell’s legislative record after he married Elaine Chao (he had taken hardline stances against China prior to the marriage).

In the ensuing years, McConnell has loudly defended China in its actions against Hong Kong and Taiwan, even claiming that “the United States needed to be ‘ambiguous’ as to whether we would come to the defense of Taiwan if attacked by China.” When Sen. Jesse Helms introduced the Taiwan Security Enhancement Act, pledging support for Taiwanese independence, in 1999, it had “twenty-one co-sponsors and heavy Republican support. But McConnell was not on the list.”

When Congress required China to document annual progress on human rights in order to maintain its trade status in the aftermath of the Tiananmen Square massacre, ditching the requirement became a priority for the country. In 2000, “McConnell cosponsored S.2277, which would do just that.”

McConnell also fought attempts to punish China for vigorously undervaluing its currency, a tactic that led Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to invoke the nuclear option, changing Senate rules on voting. The bill passed, 63-35, with McConnell voting against.

Chao, who is a two-time secretary under Republican presidents, has her own track record of promoting China despite its bad actions.

Chao has also done her part to support her ancestral home.

When she served as Secretary of Labor under George W. Bush, her department resisted efforts to “call out the Chinese government over its workers rights practices.” When a petition was filed against China on the subject of worker’s rights based on the US Trade Act of 1974, Chao opposed it.

After a bipartisan congressional report citing Chinese espionage against the US circulated in 2000, Chao “was critical of the report,” making clear she “in no way” agreed with its findings, and, Schweizer writes, “dismiss[ing] the idea that China could pose any threat to the United States.”

Schweizer, by the way, isn’t just hitting Republicans in this book. Another portion of the book hits the sons of Joe Biden and John Kerry, who also had some shady dealings with China while their fathers were meeting with the Chinese in supposed foreign policy matters.

This also ties into another story which is circulating, but probably won’t make the waves it should make.

Former RedState editor and current editor of The Resurgent wrote today about what happens when you cross Team McConnell.

Roger Ailes had Bill Shine reach out before he himself reached out. Roger had a problem and the only way he could resolve the problem was to take me off the air. Elaine Chao was on the Newscorp board of directors and, according to Roger, Elaine was “riding [his] ass” about me being on Fox. I was supporting Matt Bevin in the 2014 Republican primary in Kentucky against McConnell. And it didn’t matter why I was on television and on what topics I was or was not talking, Chao had told Roger I was an unwelcome presence on Fox and not a team player. Roger had not only told me, but conveyed to my boss at RedState that I was becoming a problem for him with Elaine.

That is just how bad things are.

If the Democratic/Collectivist Party were to win the 2020 election the pestilence, the squalor, and the homeless will become multitudinous throughout the Republic. The present photos of LA or other West Coat cities forebode that which will befall every city or town in America.

Sanctuary cities are contagion ridden cess-pits, created by the Democrats whose sole intent and design is the creation of an autocratic America; a Third World Banana Republic akin to Cuba, Venezuela or some other sh*hole nation, the Democrats venerate. If the American electorate is so ignorant, or gullible to swallow the Democrats toxic, Marxist agenda, and intolerance; America is doomed.

People are information challenged; few have a grasp on history, as it is not mandatory in today’s curriculum. If taught, at all, history is skewed to meet the Socialist/Marxist agenda of the educators. Thinking is beyond the grasp of the aspirant proletariat, as is self-reliance or individualism. Collectivism, of which they are ignorant, is the new buzz-word among the aforementioned.

This Republic, in the minds of the above, is a short step from their objective; America becoming, succumbing a Third World Collectivist Nirvana. In truth, an autocratic cess-pit

Don’t give the Green party any more ideas!
Are you aware of this? You should look up Katrina Spade and her background…. she wants to be the FIRST to make this into a business!

Using dead people as compost. I am not kidding you.

What’s greener than burial or cremation? Human composting.
By Greta Moran on Dec 31, 2018

Washington state might soon expand your options to include the (in my humble opinion, unfortunately named) process of “human composting.” A bill, expected to be introduced by state Senator Jamie Pedersen next month, would make the state the first to legalize “recomposition” — letting a body decompose in nutrient-dense soil. It would also legalize alkaline hydrolysis, aka water cremation, where a body dissolves in a vessel with water and lye until it’s just bone and liquid.

“People from all over the state who wrote to me are very excited about the prospect of becoming a tree or having a different alternative for themselves,” Pedersen told NBC News.

I don’t mean to get macabre here, but the reality is that everyone eventually dies. And the environmental cost of death really adds up. In the United States, 30 million board feet of wood, 1.6 million tons of concrete, 800,000 gallons of embalming fluid, and 90,000 tons of steel are used every year for conventional burials. Cremation releases 250,000 tons of CO2 each year, the equivalent of burning nearly 30 million gallons of gasoline.

Death didn’t use to be such an environmental drag. Burials were once a simple affair: a shrouded body lowered into the ground. The body would decay and leave behind minerals and nutrients in the soil. Maybe, if lucky, those remains could one day feed a flower or a tree.

Katrina Spade, the founder of Recompose, is popularizing a modern incarnation of this natural process. The company promises that over the span of a month, bodies will decompose into about a cubic yard of compost per person, saving at least a metric ton of CO2 in the process.

As Spade told the Seattle Times, “Our bodies are full of potential” — even, apparently, when dead.

Goodness – Paris has a competitor ?

Paris or LA, seperate places with a unifying factor – SOCIALISM and endless immigration of impoverished unemployables.

Notice how the conditions are the “child” of the politics but the left never ever take the blame for their misbegotten offspring, it’s always someone else’s fault and never theirs.

Is anyone more loathsome than some virtue signalling champagne socialist who creates such disorder and squalor before demanding other peoples private wealth to hand first to their left wing cronies before handing the remainder to those who have not earned it living in the filth of their own making as they do ?.

There is NOTHING to stop those there from self organising a steady cleanup {with the councils help} to see that such disgraceful scenes are never repeated.

Such is the route to self esteem.

You practically cannot go to any part of L.A. where there are homeless gathered, who don’t have tents. Where did these tents come from? Who funded them? I’m sure Mayor Eric Garcetti is working long hours in his mansion, far from any homeless, to come up with a solution.

The Left are anarchists in their hearts and always bent on destroying the existing order in order to bring in their Communist “utopia” of a living hell over which they have control over the minds, will, and property of all peoples. They are all from the Devil.

30 yrs ago my wife and I left SoCal We walked from ten acres and a house. The move to coastal New England was tough but looking back was the smartest thing we ever did .We recovered financially in a couple years and raised two daughters in public schools .Hell we dont even have house keys .Cal was loaded with gangs dope and creeping violence .Home Depot parking lot was an open air employment racket. Schools were packed with illegals and gang members .I worked as a public high school teacher . Stories are true It’s a war zone .Working class people are hammered there.

My experience is somewhat similar, but I can understand exactly what you wrote. Sad, just sad.

This is heartbreaking. Hey Dems, these are the voters you should be targeting, helping to improve their lives, NOT illegals. I’m not understanding why citizens in these areas are putting up with this abuse of fellow citizens. They should be standing on someone’s chest at city hall demanding they fix this.

Active shooter confirmed at the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California. San Bernardino terrorists, dozens of wild fires, Typhoid Mary resurrected in LA. Oroville dam may break. Illegal alien kills a legal alien cop. When is California ever going to bend the knee to the Lord??? Catch up with me on youtube. Editorial page:

As an aside–that discarded chair appears to have a carved frame that might be worth salvaging.

Who cares-
Democrats create the filth, live in the filth, and vote for the filth. Let them all rot in the ‘utopia’ of their making–

The agenda of the Nomenklatura of the Deep States is known worldwide: it destroys the economic basis of a democracy, corrupts the media, promises endless state support and the redistribution of goods for the poor and impoverished citizens and is chosen by the weak and ignorant. When the blinded people wake up and rebel, the thumbscrews of the dictatorship are used.
Woe to the US when the Democrats return to power
